It was a wonderful experience! The property was nice and well up kept, the food was exceptional, and the staff was amazingly kind and helpful in every way possible. I would recommend to anyone.

This Ryokan/Onsen is outside of Nagano, and about 30 minutes via train. While it was out of the way, the beginning-to-end experience was exceptional.
Our traditional Japanese room was large, and well set up for a good night sleep. They helped us ship our suitcases to our next destination, making our next stage travel very easy.
We opted for Kaiseki meals for dinner and breakfast. We had our own dining room for two and the food was excellent. About seven different stages were provided from chilled food to dessert. The sake pours were very very generous, and there was a good selection of sake to choose from.
Breakfast was in the same private room, and just as varied. A really good start to the day.
Nothing comes to mind, and we only stayed overnight.

Nice to have massage chairs at onsen plus little pool table and table tennis tables at resting areas. Dinner was great.
