reception staff were very helpful and happy to recommend local restaurants and activities
The pool is more like a plunge pool and unless you want to be stared at by the taxi drivers sitting next to it smoking and waiting for their next fare, don’t use it. Breakfast was very average and there was a nasty smell in the air each day. The pictures in the ads have been very creatively taken, the rooms are very small.

Very close to town Center. Good breakfast provided
We stays at 8th floor, yet we had a massive cockroach in our room. The aircon didn’t manage to cool off the room. It was way too warm.

The hotel has a good location and the staff is very nice
The Breakfast was not good, there was very little choice and it was not fresh. There were holes in the wall of the shower. It was very noisy even though we were on the 8th floor.

room smell disgusting. super loud traffic sounds of the street due to paper thin walls..
4.1
Good sized rooms with a sitting area by the window where we could relax and enjoy our tea in the evening.
Very friendly staff. Breakfast was decent and many places around for food and buying the necessary. About 17min walk to the night market. About 15-20min drive to the airport. Public beach was 3min walk across the street.
Nothing to complain.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel located at good location. It is not a beach front hotel, but you can walk to the public beach within 5 minutes. The pool is small and located on the ground floor. The front of the hotel could use some improvement to cover the big power box and would be able to attract more travelers. We had an early flight and hotel was very accommodating on early breakfast. We would highly recommend it and definitely stay there again.

clean rooms. location ok
TERRIBLE SERVICE. EXTREMELY NOISY. NO ONE IN THE STAFF SPEAKS GOOD ENGLISH, you can barely make yourself understood.

The room is clean and beds are comfy. Hot water, wifi, airconditioner all work well. The hotel is very near the beach, just a short walk (2mins). Breakfast has a variety of bread, noodles, eggs, other food, fruit and drink. And breakfast choices slightly change for days that I stay. Staff is very helpful, providing information on tours and restaurants. We decided to book a tour at the hotel to explore other islands in Phu Quoc and we are happy with our decision.

Good service, nice breakfasts. Close to the beach despite being on the 2nd row. The room is nice and clean, room service is good.
Very noisy at night, soundproofing would be nice to have. The pool is very small, pretty much useless.

The Gaia Hotel comes with my honest recommendation the only issue would be that if you were a light sleeper and had a sea view then you might find it a bit noisy as the road outside can get quite busy at times. The hotel does have other rooms so they might be worth consideration. However if you enjoy views of the sea on waking and some stunning sunsets later it's worth the slight inconvience. The hotel staff were all lovely & helpful. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and a good size. The Breakfast was of a good standard. The hotel is well situated close to all amenities and only a 15/20 minute walk to the Night Market. So overall I was very content with my stay.
Other than the noise the only negativity is crossing the road in front of the hotel at busy times. If you are familiar with Asia then that's ok but if it's your first time please be very careful as nobody will stop for you ever!

The location was perfect for me: To Long-Beach just cross the street and you reach the Beach in a 3-minute-walk. Only about 15–20 minutes walk to the night market and city center Duong Dong. The sea view from my deluxe balcony room on the 8th floor was impressive. The room equipment was very good value for money. Towards the end of my 5 day stay I had an accident with a rented motorbike. The friendly and very helpful hotel staff gave me the very best help in this emergency situation. Thank you so much for this support.

Friendly staff, not a bad location, you pay for that you get
I had half a curtain, the internet wifi constantly dropped out, the breakfast was very basic, the staff had limited English

Hotel was comfortable. Room was decent. Good hot water comfortable bed. Nice view from balcony.
Buffet breakfast was basic but good. Location was central. Motorbike rental easy and cheap. Close to beach. Fridge stays on even when you remove the electiricty card / key.
Fridge wasn't very cold on the first day but eventually got cold enough for drinks. No freezer for ice though.
The building appears to be slowly sinking as cracks in all the walls and none of the doors close properly without having to be forced. Safety issues: don't leave children unattended in the corridors as there's unlocked glass doors which lead to outside balcony gardens with no safety barrier so a small child could very easily fall from a great height.

The location is ok and staff was helpful.
The swimming pool was quite small (like a cistern) and not working.
The room was not clean with dust on chair, tables and dirty blanket.
Hot water in the room was not hot enough even we tried to wait 15 mins everytime for the solar heater running, the water was just warmer a bit after that.
No breakfast as per our original booking due to the Covid, then the host requested to eliminate the breakfast fee with only 50.000vnd per day into my booking (for 2 guests), which I think it isnt fair enough (only 25k/person/day for breakfast?!)

Excellent service for my trip

Breakfast, staff, motorbike rental all good.
The room sometimes smelled like cigarette smoke and drainage. Not all the time. The smell came from the washroom so closing the door shut at all times helped alot.
