Mediocre, with a sour aftertaste. Would I stay there again? Only if I don't find anything else.

The house is very spacious and there are enough bathrooms for everybody.

Cleanliness: Some of the bed sheets were dirty. The dishes were not exactly spotless either. Accessibility: The BBQ and the hot tub are only accessible by going around the house. We never used them during our short stay. The back door is dangerous for small kids, as there is nothing to prevent them from falling from a great height - we left it closed the entire time. Location: The location is not ideal because the area is full of homeless people who get high. There is no free parking available. Worst of all: The garbage policy. This is basically a scam to get more money from guests. We took out all the garbage bags and put the garbage bins on the sidewalk, as instructed (it was garbage collection day when we checked out). A week later, GLOBALSTAY wrote to us that the cleaning team took out *three* garbage bags from the house, and therefore we are charged 15$ for each bag. Who knows, they may have had other guests in the meantime or even may have pulled out the bags from the neighbors. Buyer beware: always take pictures of the house and the garbage when you leave if you don't want to be charged even if you do the right thing. Had they just included a cleaning fee, this would be fair - although renting the house for two days was not exactly cheap.

Two days in Toronto close to downtown.

Location is in a residential area close to downtown Toronto. Close to local shops, cafe's, restaurants just a few minutes walk. Coffee shop at the end of the road excellent.

No on street parking. Parking is in a public car park opposite appartement which you have to pay for. Getting downtown by car in the evening very slow, traffic very heavy. Better to take subway. Appartement located in a shared house, entrance around the back No one seems to take care of the front or back garden. Needs some work to tidy it all up. The appartement also need a refresh looking a bit tired but comfortable enough.

Emplacement pas mal, assez central pour Toronto.

Appartement qui ne correspond pas à la description. Humide et en demi-sous-sol. Seulement 2 chaises pour 4 personnes, 1 petite cuillère et 2 couteaux ... Housse de couette mouillée dans le sèche-linge à notre arrivée à 23 H. Rien à redire sur le lit principal mais le canapé lit pour le deuxième couchage est en très mauvais état. Cuisine bien équipée pour l'électro-ménager mais pas suffisamment de vaisselle. Harcelé de messages par Fancy down Town, obligation de fournir un selfie avec passeport + photocopie du passeport. Paiement de deux cautions : une de 200 CAD plus une de 300 CAD car nous avions un chien. Nous n'avons toujours pas récupéré la caution de 300CAD à ce jour après de nombreux messages, déjà plus de 6 semaines et beaucoup d'énergie. Nous avions cherché un logement susceptible d'accueillir les animaux de compagnie, celui-ci en faisait partie mais surprise il a fallu payer une caution supplémentaire de 300CAD + 20CAD/jour pour le chien. Nous n'étions pas contre payer 20CAD par jour pour le chien mais ceci n'était pas annoncé au départ dans l'annonce (de même que les 500CAD de caution au total). Parking de 50CAD par jour à ajouter. Oubliez le fait d'utiliser le jacuzzi, il est au milieu d'une petite cour peu agréable.

Pleasant

Good location. Rooms were nice and kitchen was modern. Place was clean.

They could have spent a little time on the garden and maybe had a table and chairs on the balcony. Also the back door heading nowhere was weird. We also had a group turn up saying they'd booked the place. They had the same ad, same address etc but Booking.com said they'd simply got the wrong address. We were concerned about security and asked Booking.com. to change the door code but they wouldn't

I would stay somewhere else

Location fine

On arrival to the property after a long flight, we were greeted to an unsightly load of rubbish at the front door. On inspecting the property, we noted the towels were still in the dryer dishwasher not unpacked and beds poorly made with stains on the sheets and were some hairs on the sheets in one of the rooms. There is a sliding door at the kitchen, which Globalstay say is a window, which opens to a shear drop as there’s no landing. The top floor shower, although looks lovely barely does more than a dribble. The hot tub has featured in the title of the property, FANCY DOWNTOWN HOUSE WITH HOTTUB, was unable to be used. Throughout the stay, I advised Globalstay team immediately of the issues, your reply was always, We will forward this to the management team for investigation and promptly ended there!

Good but some improvements needed

Loved that the pictures were accurate. It was clean and the beds were really comfortable. Loved the location, easy access to great spots around downtown.

The hot tub was not working, and looked abandonned. Also the shower upstairs did not have hot water.

Truly, find another place.

Great place to stay

I loved the location, the convenience of parking (green p is just across the tiny street). This property is well-staged and has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The staff is very friendly and responsive. This property is an exceptional value for a small group wanting comfortable accommodations with well-stocked kitchen, private outdoor patio and hot tub, in one of the loveliest neighbourhoods of Toronto.

I've never had to pay a deposit on any properties using booking.com for the past 10+ years. This was my first time, I felt a bit discouraged by the process, but I understand that it's just an extra layer of protection for the property owners and the process was quite simple.

ad was misleading; the basement had just one bed and one very uncomfortable futon. no garbage can in the bathroom, which for a female is kind of important. the guests staying above us were very loud, everything was loud the walls were paper thin.

Disappointing and we had bad customer service so won’t be using Booking.com again

The property was in a great location.

The sofa bed did not fit two people and was broken. There was also no bedding for the sofa bed so we had to make do with what we could find. The hot tub was half full with old water and was surrounded by dropped fruit which was attracting wasps. We did not want to use it at all. The noise from the above apartment was so loud and meant that we couldn’t sleep. We decided to leave straight away in the morning as we weren’t comfortable there for three more nights. We thought Booking.com would help us with some kind of refund but they ignored our request for three days so there was no chance of any money back.

Spacious and comfy, but steep stairs

Lots of space, we were there for a wedding so lots of girls getting ready but ample space to do so. Felt like home for the 4 days we were there! Communication with the property was always responded promptly.

Incredibly steep stairs. I wish I knew how steep and narrow the stairs were, especially with no railing to hold on to. Travelled with my mom who is having mobility issues and that was tricky. We had some falls between kids, girls in long dresses and my mom. A railing could've made it better. Although the property responded quickly to any questions, it felt like a different person responded each time which made it feel tricky sometimes.

Superb

Great location and good facilities Clean and very functional, everything provided. A great base to use whilst in Toronto. Highly reccomend

Confusing welcoming instructions - Kept referring to where to collect and return the keys. There are no keys - only a key pad. So wasted time on messaging the owners on that subject. I felt like I was an inconvenience - as when I contacted the owners regarding the key location, they kept telling me to follow the welcome instructions- which kept telling me to collect and return the keys to the key lockbox, of which there is not one!

Despite some negative reviews, we were surprisingly pleased with our stay! Would recommend staying!

- GREAT LOCATION! - Fast replies and seamless communication with the host - Matched the pictures in the listing - Clean - Spacious bedrooms and privacy for each room and bathroom - Stocked bathrooms incase anyone forgot anything - Quiet and safe neighbourhood

- A more comfortable living space to visit with each other, there is only 1 couch and chair currently - Towel hangers for the bathrooms would be nice - Recycling bin beside the trash bin outside would be nice - Toilet paper fixture would be nice - A few scuffs on walls but not a big deal

rooms were spacious and the house was well stocked. 3 bathroom, that was amazing and so convenient

After paying the price which was non refundable only then did we find out they needed another $500 for deposit, this may have caused people problems and you couldn’t cancel or get the details for checking in until it was paid. This may have been better to include in the booking fee stating that it’s a deposit and refundable to avoid people not having enough money

The house was large and well furnished for the most part

There were mice in the kitchen. There were wet towels in the dryer and wet sheets hanging in the closets. The management seemed to think the they were song us a favor by not drying it and allowing us to fold and put it away. no towel racks. no toilet paper holders. people kept coming to the door to attempt to enter the apartment downstairs.

location , and spacious for 8 ppl. but some home improvement is needed.

pictures did look like what it actually is. tidy on the inside.

water pressure too low on other washrooms. only 1 shower was normal not enough toilet paper for 8 ppl staying. quarter roll in each bathroom. no spares no towel rack to hang your used towels porche left with old garbage. (should of been removed rats on the patio.

Nice place but badly managed, do not recommend.

The interior was nice and modern, good kitchen and bathrooms. Location was very pleasant and accessible to Chinatown and little Italy.

When we arrived the porch was filled with trash, the previous occupants clearly didn’t take it out and the owners didn’t do anything to remove it and didn’t respond to texts about it. Throughout out our stay people kept trying to get in the door, which only has a code, they might have been trying to go to the basement unit with entrance at the back. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms when we arrived. There is also a dangerous 4 ft drop at the door to the back yard.

Nice location

This was a great location and very spacious. It seemed to have everything you would need for a long stay.

The front was full of smelly garbage was remained there throughout our visit. The advertised hot tub wasn't working and weren't provided any advance warning of this. The stairs to the second and third floors are not standard and difficult to navigate.

Good local loved neighborhood- lack of basics and no use of hot tub left us unimpressed

Great location Clean Quite neighborhood

Did NOT have basic stocked items- upon arrival for a 4 night stay there was half a roll of toilet paper,one coffee filter, zero paper towels/napkins; was one bathroom size trash can in the kitchen for whole apartment-So after an international flight we got to go forage for paper products. We enjoyed the hot tub for 2 nights but inquired about how to turn it up with no answer from staff- on 3 rd night opened lid and tub water smelled rancid and was cloudy- digital control never worked so obviously filter did not as well. On our last day and through night the AC turned off never to return again- The noise from upstairs guests running/walking was very loud- cutlery was salad size and only included 3 knives- this property was modern and clean NOT fancy as in title - it took me 3 days and 15 phone calls to get someone on phone they did respond to email but never really answered my questions- this property clearly run by a large organization and is designed for easy cleaning not guests comfort - towels were in dryer upon arrival so I got to fold laundry upon my arrival also- to many other choices in Toronto would not stay here again

We walked into dirty unit , took 3.5 hours for this to be addressed! was not cleaned to Covid protocol; waited till late next day for dishwasher pods, manager would not talk to us about concerns; had to fight 4 days for a small refund. This is run by management that need a lesson on costumer service!
