On the whole trek from Mestia to Ushguli, this was probably the nicest guest house we had.

Very clean and good food

For the first view accommodation fulfill Europe standard. But …
There was no possibility in the 4 bed room to store somewhere our clothes. There was a long way to toilet (from 2nd floor to 1st floor over a long corridor). The extra paid dinner for 40GEL a person was pretty poor.

Place super clean, big room.
I had a dinner that was okay but it was more expensive (40 lari) considering that in the village I heard that other guesthouses asked for 25 lari and considering that I’m vegetarian so I didn’t eat everything . But you are in a village with not too many choices…

This is the best guesthouse we had been on our trek from Mestia to Ushguli by far. Food was good, the owner speaks english and food was delicious, among the best we had in Georgia. The house is clean and showers are good. I definitively reccomend this place

The lady was very sweet and one of the few on the trek that spoke English enough to communicate more than the basics. If you want to get filled up on some amazing food before the rest of the trek (where food is enough in quantity but very basic), you need to come here. The lady is an amazing cook and her dad is a very sweet old man. The room and the bathroom were very very clean, the best of the whole trek and there was a heater provided for the room (we travelled in the last week of September). We definitely recommend! Thank you!
The bathroom is separate from the rest of the house and while it's very very nice and clean, it's cold in the evening in this time. I don't think that's a problem at all in summer and in September (we were cold but it was not such a big problem, also the days were still very hot and the water was warm/hot), but maybe a word of warning for the colder/rainier days and nights - it's cold everywhere on the trek though, don't expect luxurious hotels!

Highly recommended. You can tell that the owner likes everything to be clean and tidy. The breakfast was delicious and we were full and even took something for a lunch on trail. Clean and elegant room. We weren't expecting such a high quality in such price (45 gel for everything for two persons). Nice view from the kitchen, peace and quiet neighbourhood. The host is very nice, honest, and speaks English. True Georgian hospitality- our favourite stay during our trip to Georgia! I would recommend it for everyone.
Everything was perfect.

Fantastic food, kind landlady, great value for money.

The best place we've been on our 4 day hike. Everything is clean, dinner and breakfast definitely worth it and the owner is very friendly. Food is plenty, as well as the lunchbox.
The only disadvantage is the fact that the showers and toilets are outside.

Best food I had in Georgia. The host is a lady and cooks the Best meal, super tasty and super plenty, all we wanted after a day of hiking. She was vey nice and also let us pack the leftovers for lunch of the next day and on top of that she cooked some katchapuri and gave us at breakfast time to take with us for the hike. Really excellent. Room was comfortable enough.
No Wi-Fi and bathroom is outside the main house.

The owners were very nice, the beds comfortable and the breakfast&dinner good and plentiful (as opposed to some other guesthouses on the trek).

Rosa was very kind and she made delicious food. The guest house also was nice 😃

Very clean. They don't speak too much English but it's ok. Don't get afraid of the price for food. It's not expensive if you consider other guesthouses on the way. Bathroom is not connected to the building directly but it is not an "outside shower". They gave us so much food it would have been enough for 10 people and it was really delicious

This was the first accommodation during our trek to Ushguli. The house was very nice and clean. Our room was really big and luckily we had an electronic heater inside. Yes, the bathroom is outside, but I don't find it bad at all. The villages are quite remote and whether it is at the room or you have to walk a few steps, should not really matter. The bathroom was brand new and very clean. Our host was very friendly and the food was delicious.
The whole area for the guests is renovated and laid out with pretty tiles. And this was the only small problem - due to the tiles the floor and also the rooms were quite cold, especially because we were there in autumn. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay very much.

The best guesthouse on the Mestia to Ushguli trek !

The best place on our 4 days hike. They were super friendly, made us incredibly tasty dinner and breakfast, and offered us heater that helped us to keep our room warm. We would definitely like to come back some day.
