Amazing resort with private beach, great restaurants and spa

Amazing resort, great valentines dinner at the view restaurant and dinner at pak tai, main pool and private beach are excellent, as is breakfast. Spa one of the best Ive been to, excellent massage.

Slight delay getting into room after check in, but food and drink while waiting was covered by the hotel, thanks!

Luxurious and relaxing.

Great property with a lot of options to keep the guests busy and entertained without having to step out of the resort. Also loved how they run shuttle services to city centre. Very convenient. It is a beautiful resort and we had a very relaxing getaway!

Good, however...

Perfect location and suite!

The 2 tv sets in the suite were rather outdated. Even with my own Chromecast, we could not view any programs (e.g. Netflix) that we wanted. For this standard, smart TV's should be available. We had a diner in the Park Tai restaurant. Beautiful setting, however it was very dark. So dark, that we used our telephones to look at the gorgeous dishes that were presented. A bit more lighting would make the experience perfect!

Perfect.

It was absolutely amazing! The rooms were pretty and large, the breakfast was good. The resort is full of activities, the pool, the spa, the gym, and more. I highly recommend having an Afternoon Tea experience that was just wonderful, with such kind and extraordinary personal service. The service is just unmatched. I would like to point out the great service of the entire staff, especially Jenny, Beam, AE, Maybee, Rina, Kevin the Sou Chef, Paolina, and also the Head Chef (which I lost his name card…) . All of them were great and gave us personal service, did absolutely everything to make our stay perfect. We will gladly return for a longer vacation.

The resort is very big and up on a hill, so you have to use a buggy to get around. Though I must say that the buggies are very comfortable and efficient so it is not a big issue as long as you aware. The beach isn’t so much nice so if you are looking for a beach it’s better to go out of the resort.

Amazing facilities with lovely staff - big shout out to Emmy at kids club and Sasi in the restaurants - they were just lovely

Check in took forever and you needed to get a buggy everywhere

Excellent customer service!

The hotel grounds are massive and well-kept. The rooms were big, spacious, with an open concept, yet everything could be closed for privacy. All the staff were phenomenal, without exception. Mr. Carl was amazing. He is everywhere all the time, and extremely on top of things. Mr. Omar was very polite and took good care of us. It is clear that there is an excellent chain of communication amongst staff, which really helps in tending to clients needs, and they did go above and beyond in every aspect. We used the company at the hotel (Oceana) to book a couple of trips, and all were really good. The spa village is massive and amazing.

There's nothing to dislike, but we would have preferred to have more activities within the hotel (around the beach and spa). The spa treatments and dining options were a bit high priced. Maybe that could be reconsidered. Also, it usually takes a lot of time for food to be served in the different restaurants that we've tried (average time from in to out is about 2 hours)

Paradise on Earth!

I don't know where to start but by far the best property I've stayed at this year. My wife and I fell in love with the place on the very first day. It was so peaceful and the rooms were quite spacious. We had gone for our Anniversary and the hotel made it very special for us. Henry, went over and beyond to make us feel right at home. He helped us with most of our plans and reservations for dinner. The way the staff takes care of all your needs is something worth mentioning - Don't think we will be able to stay anywhere else next time we visit Koh Samui!

If I really had to mention something, it would be that I felt the cabs ordered through the hotel were slightly on the expensive side but in the grand scheme of things - I don't think one minds paying a little extra for the comfort and peace of mind

The hotel is on the sea but the sea is not intended for swimming. They were very upset. But having traveled around the island, we found out that Koh Samui is not about the sea at all.

the hotel is old, not like the photos, breakfast area is hot and all staff are dripping in sweat. The area is huge and buggy is required to go anywhere, very inconvenient. staff were not attentive as expected for this brand. there are much better options in Samui for less money. location Is inconvenient. overpriced. would not recommend and will not return.

This resort is for those who want to get away from the touristy areas but yet stay within reach.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Ritz Carlton Koh Samui (RCKS) . The Ritz Carlton team is fabulous, friendly and helpful. We had a great time during our stay. I would like to specially mention Ms. Tanzie, Resort Manager at RCKS who is such a friendly and caring person whom we really enjoyed speaking with. She is an absolutely valuable resource for the Ritz Carlton team. Also, must mention Ms. Tanzie's remarkable attention for details. This resort is for those who want to get away from the touristy areas but yet stay in a reachable limit. The restaurants at the resort are very nice especially the Thai restaurant. We would also like to thank Ms. Pen who was at Pak Tai and breakfast area, Mr. Tikki and Mr. Popcorn at the pool and Mr. Chris and all the other RCKS team members for all the happy moments we had with them while staying at the resort.

Everything was very nice, no comments here.

Overall, a wonderful property but please do not make your guests feel like they are being ‘ripped off’ when it comes to

Quiet, private and exclusive. Staff were always friendly and polite.

Price of food at hotel restaurants was ridiculously high and inconsistent with quality of food. Yet being far from walkable restaurants outside the property, you felt more or less trapped to eat on site. No matter the quality of the rooms, hotel should remember they are in Koh Samui, not Manhattan. Food costs should better reflect typical prices in this location.

Fantastic!!

We have been to a lot of top hotels in Koh samui but the Ritz is the best. Especially Henry from the reception host service is exeptional Top!! Popcorn, Chris and tikkie from the beach also really made our stay Super! Pen and nan from breakfast were also nice. Thank you so much for this amazing vacation you will see us soon back:)

An outstanding gateway in a beautiful island of Koh Samui!

An outstanding resort. I don't remember staying in a hotel/resort with a more comprehensive leisure experience. Nature and green on every step, facilities and excellent staff! Amazing!

It could offer more variety of food and restaurants in the resort.

beautiful rooms, disappointing food

amazing room - large, beautiful and with a view but not much privacy from the “streets” within the resort the breakfast was very good the hotel had a lot of facilities which is good given how large it is (you cant really move around fast the resort without the golf cart they provide which was super convenient)

I was wrongly charged twice at check out for my stay on January 9th and I am still waiting for my refund of not an insubstantial amount of money almost two months later. I am having to constantly chase, I don’t have transparency as to what it is they have done to resolve this as 4 weeks ago they said they did everything needed on their side which was already 3 weeks after I first flagged this and then last week they said they are happy to report they have completed everything on their side.. again… which makes me think they hadn’t done that the first time around. at this point this is spoiling the experience as I am wasting my time chasing them continuously. also, the food was incredibly disappointing especially given the price - the ceviche had massive chunks of fish rather than the delicate pieces you would expect and the ceaser salad was pretty much uncut lettuce with 2 croutons in it with mayo on the side - no chicken, no proper sauce, no anchovies …. very close to the airport which was great but Koh Samui is a larger island in general so be prepared for 15-20 or more minute drive to points of interest outside the resort

the location was great

our room was dirty when checked in, not cleaned properly for 3 days, dirty towels, staff don’t understand English!!! terrible experience this is not up to Ritz standards although they are charging you the same price!!! food was SO expensive (£8 for chips!!!)

the branch restaurant was spectacular, also the breakfast! the facilities were amazing as the pool and the amazing spa! and the service of the people around the hotel was very nice, they were always trying to help.

there wasn’t enough hot water in shower (for all the 2 nights we have stayed) and there wasn’t phone connection all over the resort so we couldn’t contact any one at the hotel for pickup (buggy) or for any other assistance. so after we have contact you via instagram, a really kind person named ALI ANIROOD has helped us with anything we were needed so many thanks to him!

My wife and I recently booked a stay at the Ritz Carlton Koh Samui as a make up for our honeymoon, which had to be rescheduled due to COVID19. The Ritz Carlton exceeded our expectations and then some. From the moment we were picked up from the airport, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. We stayed in the Ultimate Pool Villa which was incredible. The private pool and view (180 degree views of the ocean) were spectacular and the room was beautiful and really spacious. But ultimately what made our stay so enjoyable was the staff. No request was ever too difficult and they treated us like family. We would highly recommend this hotel to any of our friends - we'll definitely be back!

-waken up by birds by 6am everyday -villa is a bit noisy overnight with some machine noises -not too kids friendly
