Very comfortable and happy stay

Great apartment, great location, excellent instructions for arrival (lots of pictures- door code, lock box, parking, etc.), excellent concierge who immediately responded to any queries or requests. Very quiet, given the neighborhood. Would definitely stay again.

not a very pleasant experience

The location of the apartment is good, close to supermarket and restaurants.

The apartment we were given was not the type of room as showed in our order. The views were completely different. But we paid more and there was no improvement after we raised the issues. Also, Wi-Fi was not available.

Staff where extremely helpfull and very friendly the locationwas brilliant, ,right beside the castle the little restaurant s and bars were so friendly and inviting. We would all go back everyone from accommodation to ,restaurants, bars shops where so friendly and a great bit of craic .

Picture perfect view

Stunning view of the castle from the bedroom and balcony, large sofa, smart TV, well equiped kitchen, bonus bed in the loft. The little pedestrian street had restaurants and a minimart but it was also an easy walk up to the hill to the castle for dinner or down across the river into the main town.

The building is in a pedestrian street so we had to park and wheel our suitcases along cobble stone lanes. Parking was free though which was a bonus. The apartment was up a narrow staircase which could be a problem for some.

The location was perfect.

wifi didnt work for the first 24 hours. the bed is only a full size bed.

Disappointing

Close to the castle

1.The mattress of the bed in the living room is very uncomfortable and soft. The bed overall is too small for two people. 2. The only comfortable matress is in the bed under the roof, which is might be good for a child, as it's very small. 3. We found the rubbish bin unclean and smelly. Something was left in it by previous guests. The flat is dusty, kettle for example.. 4. No WiFi works in the whole apartment. Some WiFi can be caught sometimes in specific places of the flat. 5. The host ignored my message about WiFi. 6. No castle view despite the fact that it was announced. Given all the above, the host sent multiple messages with the only underlined sentence, which explained in details how exactly we must clean the flat, do the dishes, though away the rubbish etc.It seems that the only thing they care about is that guests do the cleaning, but not ready to do anything to make your stay somewhat comfortable.

We stayed in the "Deluxe Apartment" Located at the bottom of the hill up to the Cité, on a lovely street with loads of cafes and a few shops, this place is situated perfectly. There's a small convenience store directly opposite the front door - so convenient I treated it like a kitchen cupboard, and just popped over whenever I needed something. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and really nicely decorated. The main bed is a 160cm King size, and the mattress is clearly of a very high quality. The two single beds have similar quality mattresses. Kitchen has everything you need to make a meal if you want to, although I didn't do any more than prepare some breakfast. Living room has a really spacious sofa, in front of a decent smart Tv that you can put your netflix and amazon accounts onto if you want. And if you were planning on working from here, you can rely on a solid internet connection - it's running at Gigabit speeds!

Perfect location, clean and comfortable apartment.

Location was superb. Great view of the castle and opposite a range of shops and restaurants. Car park was only a few minutes' walk away.

Only comment would be that the balcony is very, very warm thanks to the air con unit so choose your seat wisely!

Great location for Carcassonne Cite

Air conditioning during a heatwave. Location is excellent, right at the cross-street that leads to the Carcassonne castle. Just a few steps away from one of the better restaurants along Rue Trivalle.

Charming Apartment & Top location

Excellent location close to the city. Really enjoyed the easy access to both old and new city. Short stroll to each. Layout of property worked very well for us with older kids. 15,13,10

One bedroom was upstairs with a low beam at top of stairs and a few times our kids hit their heads but nothing serious. Just a minor gripe!

Memorable, historic, interesting and overall fantastic. We loved it.

Fantastic apartment - brilliantly located, excellent facilities, wonderful air conditioning in the heat and really quiet as on a pedestrianised street. Atmospheric location with a view of la cite and cafe and restaurants in the street below. Easy parking. Wonderful host always available to answer questions. We will stay again definitely as a wonderful place to stay and so much to explore in Carcassonne and nearby.

Beautiful centrally located apartment with balcony

This is a fantastic apartment in the heart of Carcassonne. We stayed for four days and enjoyed eating on the balcony. The automated check-in was simple, with clear instructions. I had a couple of questions for the host and they always answered quickly. The apartment is immaculate and has all the amenities you need, it is also spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend and will be returning. There is a small shop directly opposite for fresh baguettes and croissants in the morning and a Carrefour in the main square for a more extensive shop.

Nothing needed to improve.

We had a wonderful time. Not a luxurious apartment, but definitely in the perfect location.

The location was just the best, in one of the most beautiful streets of Carcassonne. The host was very helpful and informative.

The furnishings were quite basic.

A medieval getaway.

Excellent location with a very friendly and responsive host. The apartment is fresh, yet charmingly rustic. The pièce de résistance is the balcony and view of the outer defensive walls of Carcassone fortress.

Excellent location, comfortable and cosy. Beds were great!

No plates in the kitchen! The aircon in the sitting room is a bit noisy. The dishwasher was full and hadn't been put on.

The area, it was right beside the castle and very peaceful. The shower was lovely, and sitting out on the balcony was nice.
