Stunning location with amazing snorkelling directly in front (saw 2 sea turtles!). Lovely big room with patio out front to lounge on. Having a hammock was excellent. Staff were really brilliant and super helpful with renting snorkelling gear.
Temporary construction next door so can’t give top marks, but this definitely wouldn’t put us off staying here again!
4.1
Proximity to everything
Great seafront location Rm 2 or 4 is the best
Snorkel straight from pool loungers to beach
Quiet peaceful well groomed gardens
Best breakfast included so far
Friendly staff
Great library
Not much

The beach access and the pool were both beautiful. The breakfast was also delicious.
The room only locked with a weird padlock that could be easily bypassed if someone wanted
4.1
Right on the beach.
No hot water in bathroom.but did eventually get a $5 discount.
Toilet leaking continually flooding bathroom floor.
Room cramped and dark.
Hotel ran out of power before midnight, no one on site to put on more power till 06:45.
Lots of road noise.

breakfast was basic but adequate, eaten at the waters edge. Staff happy to service special requests. Wayan, the main worker always happy to stop for a conversation and accomodate needs. The location is superb and. Beachfront with a very relaxed feel. Bit of a small hub for beach wanderers at sunset. Great snorkelling straight out the front.
it will be better when they re open the restaurant for daily meals. At the moment only drinks available all day. However there are numerous warungs serving great food a few steps away accessible from the beach as well as the road.
4.1
proximity to beach. Not too big so quiet.
budget cuts so lawns needing attention

The property was cute. I think if they worked on the landscaping and maybe did a paint job on the buildings it would look nicer. It’s a bit abandoned but it’s cute.
Landscaping needs constant work.

The breakfast was nice and the fact that you can wake up right next to the beach with a view on the ocean was so relaxing. The staff is friendly. They clean the pool every morning. You can snorkel right in front of the hotel.
The room was smaller than we had expected, but fine for 2 nights. The bathroom could have been cleaner. A head's up: it's not a sand beach but one with rocks. Not very pleasant to walk.
4.1
Peacefully, beautiful spot. Love love loved the staff. Wayung went above and beyond with grace, patience and humor. Breakfasts were top notch!
Pool could have been cleaner. Beds were worn out-springs protruding.

very peaceful and quiet.
hot water shower would have been nice.

Wat was not to like... we were right on the beach. The coral reef was out of this world. We could see the sun rise from your patio. The food was great and the pool was just a few steps away. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Definitely going back on our next trip to Bali.
Not much we didn't like....

the location is great and it is a small relaxing place
would have been nice to have a welcoming drink, no water in the room, towels were not really clean.

View Was Incredible
Rooms are very basic and old.

Hotel was direct at the beach, so we had a beautiful view, especially at breakfast or while swimming in the pool. Owner was very friendly and tried to help us with any kind of questions/problems we had. :)
Our room was okay, but a bit dark. Staff was nice and friendly but sometimes they were not so quick and they seemed a bit uninterested to us.

The location is excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. The site has great potential.
The hotel needs a little TLC, as the building I was in had leaks in the roof which flooded the front porch.
4.1
Very friendly staff and amazingly located right at the beach. Nice little swimming pool, also great for a plunge with kids.
The room was a little damp, but we are in the middle of rainy saison, so I guess, this will be different in dry saison.
4.1
- just in front of the beach
- the pool is great
- the stuff super nice and friendly
- the owner helped us with scooter, snorkeling, dinner, transport. Fast and very convenient.
- maybe the rooms need some improvements.

Breakfast was good. The dining area is right in front of the ocean. The staff were nice and friendly and helpful. They have snorkeling gear for rent. The size of the room is decent but the interior is a bit strange with the drawer in the way to an open closet.
I am picky with the cleanliness in general. They could have done better.
4.1
The staff were rly friendly. Esp Wayan. They sent me around in scooter.
Unfortunately, the place was super run down and old and paint was peeling off from the walls, everything were left to ruins. The price is definitely not worth it at sgd35 a night.

I was really lucky. I booked for one night but fortunately it turned out to be possible to stay three nights. So I could fully enjoy my room right on the beach with a great view, the walks on the beach and the area. And most of all the company of the very friendly staff. Loved it!

Very good and quiet location!

I really enjoyed my stay, the guest house is beautiful and well located. It is as shown on the photographs. The room is ample and airy, aircon worked. Large bed, large terrace with nice view. The location where breakfast is served is really enjoyable, right in front of the beach, comfortable seating and friendly staff, who gave me bike ride at no cost... Nice pool and garden.
The infrastructure could use some TLC, it is a bit rundown in some aspects, owner should spend a bit of money keeping up the standards, simple things like new pool and terrace cushions... some detailing could improve the general feel of the accommodation and experience.

Wonderful position, quiet spacious rooms overlooking the ocean A plus for the swimming pool love the large balcony will go back
Nothing really
But a note to booking dot com google maps has this property at the north end of Amed there is nothing there the hotel is on the south side of the town and we couldn’t contact the property luckily the taxi driver knew the location

It is right on the water. Great pool and location with only a few bungalows making you feel like it is completely private. Staff were so helpful. Really felt like we were in holiday when we arrived until we left! Highly recommend!
Our shower wasn’t working when we arrived after 10 hours travel but was fixed the next day :)
4.1
We have been here before because we love the location, the views, the pool and, of course, the wonderful staff.
Sadly, it is a little run down since Covid but we understand. We believe the owner is planning to make some improvements soon.

The hotel is just starting up again as tourists return. The restaurant served a great breakfast and provided dinner the first night when I was tired, but wasn't fully opened. My breakfast had to be early for diving and I was well looked after. They had lots of drinks coffee, beer etc. The staff is very helpful. The local women comes and offer a massage each afternoon. They are great. And the pool is kept spotless!
I think it is difficult to start up again ...

The place is absolutely wonderful, right at the beach with only the beautiful calming sound of the waves. Maybe the rooms could need a tiny bit of an update, but they are spotlessly clean, with a big terrace / balcony and an awesome view of the ocean. The pool - with the comfortable lawnchairs - is very nice as well. The staff is very sweet and helpful. Highly recommendable!
Actually there was nothing I did not like. A very good price for such a great place!
Thank you!

The peace and quiet, the well-stocked bookshop and passionate man who started it. The view during breakfast. The friendly and helpful staff
Rooms are dark (built probably as respite from the sun) and bathrooms jaded but perfectly satisfactory
