Hamza is most helpful. He picked me from the airport and took me back to the airport. He also took me around Arusha, the art gallery, Germany Bona, masai market, local market etc. After my 5 days safari I returned to the homestay . Hamza had my luggage stored safely and they did my laundry. The last 2 days that I spent in Arusha was made memorable by Hamza. He drove me out to Kilimanjaro and the hot springs. On the last day he took me canoeing on lake Duluti and he even managed to get me all the way to the bottom of the valley at Mount Meru to see the water fall. The homestay accommodation was very comfortable, nice bed, helpful staff, good breakfast and I also got a flask of hot water every evening so that I could have an early cup of coffee.
I don't like leaving in the evening after a full day of activities so it would of been useful if there is a restaurant on site.

Hamza was a very nice host, friendly and always there to help. The location of the homestay was very central yet off the main road, so very quiet. The room and bed were very big and comfy.
There were lizards in the room, which is normal for that part of the world - but the host was very nice to chase them out and make sure the room was well disinfected.

When I arrived the manager and guide Hamza gave me a warm greeting and showed me around the amazing property. He then took the time to give me a quick tour of Arusha town. I really loved the property and all the cool eco-friendly projects Hamza had going on. The location was perfect as well. I would highly recommend staying at Themi Valley!

A very comfortable and peaceful stay, set amongst beautiful gardens. Hamza, Themi’s Sales and Marketing Manager went above and beyond. My luggage had not made it to Tanzania and he liaised tirelessly with the airline until they had delivered my bag to Themi. I couldn’t recommend more!

The best of this place is its good location, close to Boma road and amenities within Arusha. Staff is kind and helpful, however, as many other places in Arusha town, the overall price is expensive for what it offers. I select this place because it is quiet and calm despite being close to the clock tower. Places such as the Natural History Museum, shops and cafes are only a short walk away.
The lack of hot water and breakfast is not really exceptional, better go to Africafe, which is only a 5 minute walk form the hotel. I believe 50$ per night is slightly overpriced for a place with no hot water and no 24h reception.

Quiet place with nice garden close to Arusha centre (Clock Tower). Comfortable room and terasse with sofa.
Very pleasant staff who helped me with arrangement of trip to Mount Meru waterfalls. I appreciated a possibility to let here my luggage after check-out and take a shower after return from my trip.
Only cold water in shower but weather was very warm so it never mind.

The place has a very beautiful garden and the best host - Hamza. He made our stay perfect from start to finish. Hamza spent all his time with us from the first minute we arrived. He made an overall excursion around the garden and the surrounding territory, helped us to find a safari tour company and save some money, showed us the Arusha city and some it’s hidden gems and accompanied us at a dinner. It was a true cultural exchange! Thanks a lot for that!
The room wasn’t really cozy. Maybe it’s because of a cold temperature lights. The bathroom needs some renovations. There is no hot water in a sink, only in the shower. The bed sheets and the bathroom didn’t feel too clean.
I would suggest to turn off the fridge in the room for a night time, because it is quite noisy. And don’t expect a lot from the breakfast.
