The Owner of the Hostel is a lovely guy who was very welcoming and helped us with a lot of stuff we had to organize. The rooms are big and comfortable. Everything was very clean. There is hot water in the shower. The garden and the little "Rooftop" are perfect to relax (if you don't travel in the rainy season like we did). The breakfast ist basic but good. For the price we paied I think it is one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. I would always come back to this place if I every stayed in Arsuha again.
It was not so easy to find because the hostel is in the suburbs of Arusha. We used Google Maps to come close enough and then asked around. If nobody is answering the door immediately, don't worry, just stay persistend ;)

It's a cool place to stay in Arusha when you are a little bit on budget. The host is very helpful, friendly and can also help you to organize safaris, trips to mountains. With a Tuk Tuk it takes you maybe 15 to the centre.
Nothing it was great.

We arrived late, there were no WATER at the shower. Forget about hot water, there were np water at all. We requested in the evening to have breakfast early because we left early for safari. The owner started fighting with us and he was rude and unpleasant.

Super friendly and chill staff, bed was so comfy and such great value. Would definitely come again
Only downside is the location, it was a bit of a trouble to get to, locals know it as "The White House" so hope that helps others find it! (Maybe they could put some signs up?)

The staff were very welcoming and accommodating! Overall the service was very good!
Honestly everything was great for the price!

The room was cleaned and it's a nice hostel. It has hot water!!
Fake location, it's so far away from the center of the city, you have to take a taxi. And wifi doesn't work in all day...

The help I got from the staff was awesome.i was not stranded at all.the lady who prepared breakfast did a fantastic job.it came right on time
Wi Fi connectivity should be upfront.guests with no Tanzania simcards who are on a short stay need wi Fi for communication.i did not enjoy this this service appropriately from check in day.

It's definitely cheap.
There are motortaxis waiting right in front of the hostel who can take you into town for a very low price.
The location on the booking map is not the location in real life! It wasn't even close. This place is way further out in a neighbourhood where we did not feel comfortable walking around by ourselves. The owner played his own electronic music all day long. Some of the showers didn't work properly. Our room opened right into the large communal area, where people would hang out a night, so it was rather noisy. I would only recommend this place if you are a very low budget backpacker looking to spend time in a neighbourhood that is as local as they come! Most expensive beers we've come across in mainland Tanzania!

Really worth for the price. Clean and omfortable beds. Nice big common area and good breakfast.
Lockers good be nice. Located far from the centre in an area that did not seem the best. Necessary to be accompanied to go out the hostel and need bolt or personal transportation to get in and get out.

Nice and chilled place to stay close to Arusha. You can walk for a few minutes or take a boda boda for a small price to get into town. The Housekeeper was very nice and friendly. Nice garden to make a bonfire in the evening :)
WiFi was only available at a few times of the day, could definitely be improved. But I think it was just a matter of refreshing the router, so if the owner is around and you tell him the wifi should be back again.

location
no wifi during our 4 days there, and everyday we were told by the owner that next day or later the same day there will be, but no. we trusted him and wait for the next day to get the wifi he promised us, but no wifi ever.

For the price it was ok. Don't expect too much.
I came late, but got a warm beer (the fridge is not used for beer because it will be bad while electricity if off much often 😳
But I got food even late for free.
There was no couver to use the blanket, so I used my own thin sleeping bag.
No warm water for shower.
Wished to get breakfast at 8am, didn't work.

I liked the place, perfect to chill in Arusha before going for a big adventure (safari, kili,...). You can take a motorcycle taxi for a cheap price to the city center. The owner is super nice!!

This place was amazing, it’s really quiet, the owner Johnson and his team (His mother and Sarah) are amazing people always ready to make you feel comfortable and to help you.
The place itself is really well located and you got a very good view from the roof!
I’ve met amazing peoples there and I spent a wonderful time at this place
Totally recommend!!

The first point is a very cute looking place with wonderful stuff and a cool owner.
Besides having a nice living room/communal area there is a pretty garden with flowers, trees and soft grass to practice yoga, do sport or just relax. If you plan to climb Meru, Kilimanjaro or do a Safari, the owner can give you the best contacts in town (price/value/fairpayment for workers/porters/guides/cooks).
So relax get here and plan everything from the hostel, while enjoying your included breakfast with cool people.

Really nice hostel with a good vibe! Everyone was super friendly and helpful, the place was clean and in good condition, the showers also had hot water :). It's in a good location if you want a more local feel, and it's close to the train station but also to the centre.
We didn't have lunch or dinner there but it looked and smelt really good, and the breakfast is included in the price which is eggs, avocado and fruit which was nice!
Overall had a really good stay and would definitely stay here again next time I'm back in Arusha. Also great value for money! 😊
Nothing, everything was great :) we even extended our stay

Great place to stay for Arusha visitors, really positive vibe, The owner Johnson was really helpful for us and thanks to him we managed to solve some problems. Can’t not to mention his mom who made us great breakfast everyday. Do not hesitate and book now.
There was a problem with internet provider but when we needed it Johnson made a hotspot from his own telephone
