Comfortable bed in a lively neighbourhood, the roof terrace is stunning both in the morning and the evening.
The WiFi signal does not reach the room and so I couldn't use this. I reported it and was giving a code for another network, this also didn't work - so no WiFi.
The room was very small indeed - which is fine, but the shower cubicle opened into the bedroom, toilet with a sliding door. As a solo traveller it was OK but I wouldn't want to share this with someone else.
The room I had looks onto the street, directly over a restaurant with outside dining - very noisy.
Considering how much I was charged for this room - 74€/night, it really does not offer good value for money. 50€ would be more realistic, at most. I would also have preferred not to have urine marks of the previous guest on the toilet.

Location was excellent, Lovely apartment. Bright, clean and could highly recommend this to anyone, great facilities and airconditioning was a bonus. Great on the terrace a night people watching. The city vertainly came alive at night. Restuarants filled the street, was a great holiday. Would definitely go back and rebook this apartment.
The stairs as we were on 3rd floor, but it would never put me off revisiting. To get the best views of the city you need to climb high. Stairwell was clean, well lit and well maintained.

The location is good. It is inexpensive.
A reading light for the bed would be good. The toilet seat is falling off. The sink faucet does not work properly => one can not get it to be fully hot, or fully cold.

The location was great, in a very dynamic and rich neighborhood. The equipment in the apartment was complete and useful. The exchange with the host was clear and direct all the time.
The comfort is not the best characteristic of the apartment. The bed is very thin, and the pillows are too soft. The shampooing was not good.

The location was great and the apartment bright and spacious. The bed was very confortable. Nice view from the balcony.
It is on the 3 rd floor with tight access when carrying luggages. The owner did not provide the door code easily after I had paid for our non refundable 3 day stay he wanted additional id information which made me unconfortable to provide over the internet. This was not stated before I booked and fully paid for the stay. I have been with booking for a few years now and this is the first time I have had such a request.

Host was great. Was responsive when needed. We found ourselves in a bind and the host allowed us to check in early without a problem. Apartment was spacious and clean. We had everything we needed and the location was great.

Process is far easier than reviews provide. And the accommodation, area etc..is a grateful experience. Not sure who these negative reviewers are, clearly they don’t understand their own travel preferences and taste.

It's very central and a few minutes walk from the Vieux Port
When we arrived, they only sent us information for for opening one apartment, although we were 2 people and booked 2 apartments. They didn't answer our call so we had to contact booking.com to provide us with information for the other apartment.
At one apartment there was only a sheet and not a duvet, although it was October and it wasn't warm.
Studios were disgusting, dirty, with ruined floors and walls and scary pictutes on the walls. It is definitely different than on photos.
The shower was dirty and the water would remain there for a few minutes after showering.
The building itself smells like a can of sardines and the studios are above a fish restaurant.
The neighborhood itself is disgusting and we saw a few rats running down the street.
The hosts didn't care about anything and didn't even apologize for forgetting to send us information for check in.
The most disgusting place I've ever stayed in.

The flat was stunning, nice decorated. Small but functional. Location super, in the really center of the old city.
The flat requires air changes to keep humidity low (but we are on the sea, it is normal). Not a fan of the code to enter the door but these are small details not affecting the great quality of my staying. I would go back there again.
Ah, as Info: the property manager only writes in French. To prepare some texts with instructions also in other languages would be nice (I understand it but other people might not).

only good thing was the location
it was like living in a shoebox … the pictures were totally deceiving very unhappy with this place

It is a great apartment - comfortable, charming, and well-located. The neighborhood was fun. The excellent restaurant outside the door was a bonus.
Arrival was a bit frustrating, but it was my fault for not seeing the messages on Booking.com and for not being savvy about modern door codes. Would like 2 towels/person.

NO breakfast. Okay location.
The email received about the pin code was misleading. Both mer, and my grandson, expected a 2nd email. The wording should be changed. Then, at the apartment, my grandson, who had a college degree and is very sharp and has travelled a lot, thought there would be a key in the lockbox, because there were many lockboxes. There was a pad on the door, but nothing happened when he pushed on it. One must push quite hard. My grandson spent the first night at the Intercontinental.

Excellent emplacement!

I found the experience disappointing, the place was dark, lacking in basic facilities and there were not enough towels or bed sheets for the stay. Sorry to say I wouldn't recommend stopping here.

Great location! In the heart of the old town. With beautiful boutiques and shops.
The room was not cleaned at all and we didn't get new towels for the whole stay

Excellent location in the middle of the old town.
A bit noisy ( upstairs renters and the pipes from the water heater)

The rooftop is excellent, also the location of the apartment. Shower and all works well. Small but functional. Perfect if you want to just have a spot to sleep.
To get the code for the door the host should think of a better way to communicate with their customers. As I am apparantly not the first who had to wait for the code. Finally it all worked well but for about 45 minutes I didn't know what's going on, couldn't reach anybody on the phone waiting for information. Seems like sometimes it works easily sometime not.

The appartement was located very close to the center of Marseille. I also liked that we had the opportunity to cook and wash our clothes.
The view from the balcony was very nice and the Rue du Panier has a really cool is busy til late night.

all very like and good room😊

Excellent week-end dans l'adorable appartement terrasse !

The roof top terrace, staircase, and keyless entry. All were nice amenities. The host also stayed in touch regularly and the check-in process was clear.
The bed was uncomfortable and room was tiny -- hard to get around desk, which could have been taken down I think but was one of few surfaces to place toiletries, drinks, books, etc. We also didn't realize how much of a low season it was in January -- not many stores or restaurants were open in the neighborhood. Considering the season and the tight bare-bones space, it wasn't a great value.
