Within easy walking distance from train station and town centre. The apartment was comfortable.
The WiFi did not work. Cleaning could have been a little more meticulous.

Great location, room was spacious and had everything we needed, enjoyable stay.
Shower head was broken and leaking.

On the surface it's a lovely apartment, with lots of extras, like washing machine, iron and ironing board, coffee percolator etc. There's a large TV and a well-equipped kitchen. Large windows and lots of light, overlooking an area of cafes and grocers. Without the problems it would be a great place to stay because someone has obviously taken the time and trouble to make it feel homely. BUT... you'll see all the problems laid out below. If they get fixed then I'm sure people would have a more enjoyable stay.
Here's where it gets scored down:
1) The first problem was getting in. We were supposed to get the key code the day we arrived, but no one contacted us. We messaged and phoned from a motorway service area, but no response. After further two stops on the motorway we discovered the phone number given on Booking.com is wrong. We got through on a second number, only to be told that we had to supply photo ID before they would release the code. Two motorway stops later we finally got the code, 30 minutes before our arrival! Then it was difficult to find the place where the key is kept -- it's in a lock box on a public bike stand about 50m from the apartment building.
2) We messaged to say we were in, and it was now about 6 o' clock on a Friday. We needed to connect to the WiFi, but they hadn't given us the WiFi password and there were no instructions at all inside the apartment. So we immediately called back to get the password -- but no one was there, just voice mail. We messaged, but no answer. We messaged again and again, but no answer for the next two days. As a result, for three nights out of our five-night stay we had no internet! We also had no TV, because the remote is missing, and (again) there are no instructions on how to work the TV and set top box manually. We managed to configure it all on the third night ourselves, but it would be so much easier if the instructions were there, even in French.
3) The worse thing was the lack of communication. If you arrive at a weekend or after 6pm, you're on your own. No one to explain where the key is (you'll never find it on your own, believe me!) No one to help out with problems like the WiFi, the TV, or even if you have problems with the kitchen equipment or the washing machine.

The kitchen,, the excellent shower, the washing machine, the large windows,
It is not easy to understand the program for the washing machine, the host could place some instructions there. the mattress is too soft, it could be changed.

Location is Great!
good decoration and ambience
bars and such around
kitchen with everything you need
desk to ear or work, comfortable
no Smart TV
no bed light
quite uncomfortable bed
couch is quite dirty…
be sure to ask for instructions for entering the flat because it’s not easy. We got them after urgently asking about 23h and a long drive, I got quite scared that I might not manage to get in…

Great location. A short walk from the train station and close to all the hot spots in fantastic Metz.
It is necessary to have the windows open on hot days, the host provided fans when we asked, but then the music from the cafes in the square became annoying. Also couldn't get the remote to operate the TV. No coffee was supplied. Access into the shower very narrow.

Location was great. Directly in the centre. Nicely decorated apartment, comfortably reached by elevator. Host was nice, informed us properly around checking-in time, so all went flawless.
Parking is a bit of a problem when you want the costs to be not that high. Qparc is near, but expensive. Cheaper parking is a 15 minutes walk away. The room was really hot, also the sleeping area, to proper ventilate it, we opened the windows, but the noise was till late and early in the morning. The sleeping sofa in the living is worn-out and has a really dirty mattress, and a dish-washer was missing.

Location is excellent and the offer of garage parking superb and necessary. The square in which the apartment is located has great coffee, and the nearest bar, Les Vedettes, has veggie snacks, which are quite generous and good.
The one thing that could be better is the sofa bed. I know good ones are expensive because I have one here but the current sofa bed in the apartment is really only good for smaller people, my son who slept on it is 24 years old, 72kg and about 190 cm tall - he was too big for the current sofa bed.
