Il posto é incantevole, in mezzo alla giungla e alla natura. Indisturbata per una settimana, senza connessione internet, seguendo il ritmo del corpo e della natura e godendomi la compagnia.
Snorkeling, leggere, disegnare, dormire, kayak, qualche passeggiata nella giungla, ridere e chiacchierare con Pai, Tina e la sua famiglia e con gli altri ospiti. Queste sono le attività principali e mi hanno fatto un gran bene.
Il bungalow é carinissimo, vicino al mare, con una buona mosquito net (importante!!) e si dorme bene la notte.
Bagno e docce sono basic, khmer style ma si sposano a perfezione con l’ambiente.
Cucina e cuoche top, si mangia benissimo e la famiglia di Pai e adorabile.
Se siete da hotel a 5 stelle e con tutti i comfort, odiate insetti ecc, cambiate posto. Peccato, non saprete cosa vi perdete! Se siete avventurieri e amate la natura e i contatti umani, avete trovato il paradiso.

Crusoe a été mon premier stop sur l’île de Koh Ta Kiev et restera mon préféré. L’équipe est géniale que ce soit évidemment la famille cambodgienne que les volontaires. La nourriture est délicieuse! Mon bungalow était absolument magnifique. J’ai beaucoup aimé le calme de Crusoe. N’hésitez pas❤️

L'endroit est superbe , le personnel est au top et qui que vous soyez vous ressentirez là bas un côté " à la maison". La cuisine est incroyable et les prix sont carrément abordables!
Paï et sa famille sont super accueillant et les volontaires sont tout autant investi !
Même si les autres places sur l'île ont l'air sympa, je pense que l'atmosphère paisible que vous allez trouver à crusoe ne se ressent pas ailleurs !
Allez y les yeux fermés !!!

Struttura ben pensata e gestita, in linea con una vita lenta e rilassata. Posto perfetto per rilassarsi e scappare via dalla frenesia della civiltà. Ottimo il trasporto tramite barca. Tutti veramente simpatici e pronti ad aiutarti. Cibo veramente eccezionale. Tende confortevoli e relax assicurato. Giusto mantenere il luogo un mix tra comfort e avventura. Spero che questo posto possa rimanere così com'è, senza essere distrutto dal turismo.
In generale mi è piaciuto tutto. Se devo trovare dei difetti direi che: Il cibo è veramente buono ma leggermente costoso. Non dovrebbero vendere alcolici la mattina per evitare finali di giornata "vivaci" soprattutto visto che spesso ci sono famiglie. Attività un po' limitate, ma capisco che la maggior parte delle persone vengono per riposare. Le docce potrebbero essere migliorate.
Però ripeto, sono piccolezze consiglio a tutti di venire qui

About the most beautiful place you can imagine, so far untouched by the massive redevelopments happening everywhere else. Stunning beaches, swimming, hiking, everything. Very chill people, vibe and environment. Food was delicious, hammocks were comfortable. Bed very comfortable in the bungalow we were in. Island with basic amenities. Do not come here if you are looking for luxury! No AC, no fans, no walls. Amazing getaway to actually get away from normal life and live your best beach island fantasy.

The place is PERFECT if you really want to relax and have some down time. No wifi available (sim card works but we don’t have one) and the lights go out after 10pm. No electricity, only solar power but you can recharge your devices in the common area. We had a bungalow (without toilet) and it was really nice! Mosquito net worked great and when the bungalows next to ours (which had a toilet&outdoor shower) were not occupied they let us use the facility’s which was really nice as our bungalow was furthest away from the shared bathrooms. The staff in general is very nice. The food is DELICIOUS and reasonably priced. Try the Mayo bowl ;) The hammocks are amazing and the place is really quiet and relaxing. Games are available and there is a volleyball net. You can rent snorkeling gear which we recommend, the reef is really nice! And then just grab a beer and watch the sun go down :)
Just so you know what to expect, this is a remote island! Which means there are a lot of insects, the water pressure is low and only cold water. Which for us was absolutely fine! Our bungalow had an ants nest close by and we had a lot of ants on the first night in the bungalow. But when we told the staff they immediately sprayed something and then there was no problem at all. Only a lot of dead ants :D unfortunately on our last night my husband got really bad food poisoning from the squid they made. We think it was a rest of the one they cooked the night before so always asked if the fish is fresh from the day. They gave us some tea and tablets which helped after a while and organized us a taxi from the pier to the airport so we don’t had to go back to Sihanoukville and catch a bus.

Environnement très pollué de plastiques déchets sur toute l ile (ainsi qu'au ponton de départ, à travailler je pense) donc difficile de profiter sereinement de la mer.
Nous avons écourté le séjour à cause de cela.

L'arrivée en bateau, le cadre idyllique, la mer en face de la tente, l'ambiance zen et cool, la gentillesse des personnes qui nous accueillent, les plats super bons, les cocktails maison...
RAS, tout était très bien.
Le seul hic, mais qui ne dépend pas de l'hébergement, c'est la pollution plastique partout sur la côte ...

Le cadre est idyllique et le personnels absolument adorable ! Nous devions rester seulement deux nuits mais nous avons réserver une nuit de plus par eux, ils sont tous très gentils et arrangeant. On y mange très bien et l’ambiance est conviviale. Nous avons dormis en tente, elles sont spacieuse et confortable. Les toilettes et douches sont très bien à l’image de l’île. La plage est propre on peut y observer des poissons. Prenez directement la navette avec eux c’est le moins cher et le plus pratique. Cette endroit me manque déjà !

What a lovely place! One of my favourite holiday experiences (we were one of the typical people - wanted to stay 4 nights, but stayed 8 and really only left because we had to). The place is not only beautiful, but also simply so well run. Lovely, happy family atmosphere. Great staff - fun, and at the same time so professional - Pai and Matti are simply the best :) Everything is made possible. And the food is truly amongst the best I had in all of Cambodia. You simply can't err with any dish. And try Matti's barracuda experience and Matti bowl ;) At day you can snorkel through one of the best reefs of Cambodia and at night you can swim in the glowing plankton. We also made friends with beautiful people and went for hikes around the island. If ever possible, I want to come back. Thank you lovely people for the wonderful time - you are doing an amazing job!

Wir empfehlen den Gästen keine Snacks mitzunehmen, da Tiere (Ratten) angelockt werden.

A true hidden island paradise. What a great place to unwind and completely disconnect. The staff were great and very friendly and the food was delicious! Of course, we also enjoyed the beaches, swimming, snorkeling and lazing around in hammocks. We hope to return here one day, it is an incredibly relaxing and unique place and tops our list of all the places we stayed in Cambodia!

We had such a great time at this little paradise. Be ready to live like a Robinson for few days but you will forgot your confort by all the amazing surrounding and friendly atmosphere.
Chilling on the beach, snorkeling, going around the jungle, looking to the birds at view point… Everything is there !

The perfect island getaway! You stay right on the white-sand beach, listening to the sound of waves lull you to sleep. We met the most amazing people during our stay, and they really made it the best and most memorable stay of our trip. We ate freshly caught fish every night, swam with bioluminescent plankton, and stayed up talking and playing games with other guests and staff alike, until late into the evening! I have many happy memories, including the best snorkelling I have ever done.
Visit this tropical paradise while you still can- it is full of natural beauty and fantastic wildlife, but who knows how much longer it will remain so untouched and special.

Our bungalow was so close to the sea, it was amazing looking at out at the view whilst sitting on our terrace and we loved watching the sunset. The food was absolutely delicious and the location was stunning, on a beautiful beach with very few other people on it. There was always a good atmosphere in the centre of the camp. We loved staying here and it was one of the highlights of our stay in Cambodia.
Whilst the accommodation and set up was exactly as described, our bungalow had loose curtains instead of windows/doors/ shutters and so was a little exposed to the weather, noise and potential intrusion, especially as the curtains were blowing about all the time.That said we felt safe and secure in our room and were able to leave our passports in the safe behind the bar. We were undisturbed by wildlife which I was amazed about, the biggest disturbance was the noise of the sea!!!

We found actual paradise 🌴 Super chilled and welcoming vibes, a real desert island community which felt like going back in time in all the right ways. Nathan, Pi and their beautiful family and friends/volunteers made us feel so immediately at home, and nothing was any trouble 🌞 The raised tents on the beachfront are perfect for getting back to basics, and the food was delicious. We left a piece of our heart there and the moment we set foot on the mainland we wanted to return, so much so that we’re already working out whether we can ♥️ If you’re looking for an escape, an unwind, and a friendly experience then look no further. Also the snorkelling is breathtaking, the beaches are as clean as we’ve seen around here, and the phosphorescence is absolutely amazing at night 💯

Beautiful location, very nice staff always willing to help and share. Considering the precarious context, everything worked and was clean as it could be.
The water to use for everything was more dirty than clean. So no use to shower really and they always smelled bad.
Also I found it a bit overpriced, even though the food quality and service was always good, after that place I went to some other remote Islands with better services and cheaper....so I felt a bit bad about that. The fact that everything is in dolar in Cambodia makes a big difference also....you never know when they will charge you in Rial or in USA Dolar....and who knows about the rate...each local puts their own.

Super friendly and helpful staff... never charge for first aid ;)) it was like being a family member from the first moment... I really highly recommend you go there... its all Crusoe still, so basic and easy... but what do need more...
they will have to shut down the business very soon due to massive construction projects and the whole place will be lost for ever...
