Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Erg comfortabele kamer, met een leuk spoorweg-thema en oog voor detail! Het openbaar vervoer binnen handbereik. De bushalte ligt pal achter het verblijf.

Magnifique hôtel, restaurant délicieux

Nous avons adoré la taille de la spacieuse chambre, les petites attentions à notre arrivée et le restaurant qui était délicieux. Le stationnement était facile d’accès.

Malheureusement, une forte odeur d’égout se dégageait dans la chambre malgré l’aération par l’ouverture de fenêtre. La douche manquait également d’eau chaude. Et les portes de notre salle de bain était extrêmement bruyantes et laissaient peu d’espace à l’intimité. Je ne regrette toutefois aucunement notre séjour dans lequel nous nous sommes sentis si bien accueillis :)

Boutique hotel with first class restaurant and service

Definition of Boutique hotel run by young enthusiastic team . Room with large bath backed by picture of old loco. Very comfortable bed, Room had air con unit and a fan , TV was able to use chrome cast all nice touches. the hotel is very unique in being an old Railway Station. excellent . We had dinner in restaurant food and drink was excellent with exceptional service from our waitress; all at reasonable cost for quality of food. Free parking in hotel car park adjacent. we were also pleased to have breakfast at 7am which was useful as picking up son and daughter in law form Schipol airport 20 mins away. Pleasant river side walk close to hotel made for enjoyable post dinner stroll.

finding places to plug in phones laptop a bit of a challenge. bath shower gel provided but no ordinary soap. blind had to be either up or down no mid way position all minor niggles. Please note very steep stairs due to type of building not suitable for everyone - just a function of the type of building.

Staff was so kind and welcoming! We would totally stay here again - it is a beautiful and relaxing place! They have kept the history of the train station but with such excellent modern amenities. So well done!

This was a great stopover on our multiday bike tour.

This hotel (and restaurant) is in an old train station and is very nicely set up and decorated. Our room was up two flights of narrow stairs but worth the climb in terms of atmosphere and set up. Their breakfast served in the restaurant downstairs was very good. There are several nice restaurants along the nearby waterfront.

A great property where every room is unique and quaint. Not your Holiday Inn! if you have mobility or step climbing issues, not for you. The restaurant was amazing and, yes, book your space when you arrive. just first class and very busy. Would love to return, Super breakfast including fresh squeezed orange (yes, real oranges!).

enjoyable stay

quaint old station that is now a B & B and is has a nice restaurant and bar. breakfast is included and was very nice with lots of warm rolls and croissants, egg, yogurt, cold cuts and veggies etc.

if you can’t get up stairs you cannot stay here. very steep stairs to the bedrooms. no elevator. staff graciously took our luggage up.

it’s a bit faraway from the city. I have to take a bus there but 2024 there will be a metro in front of the hotel

Our stay was very enjoyable and convenient to Schiphol airport.

Clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.

I realise it is fairly typical of older Dutch buildings but the stairs are very steep and quite awkward especially when carrying a small suitcase. Not suitable for people with restricted mobility.

Good for travelers by car intending to visit Amsterdam and its surrounds

Old historical building of the train station built in 1911. River Amstel in a few meters. Half an hour drive by car to Amsterdam ciry center. Great furnished clean rooms, restaurant and bar on the first floor, private parking, tasty breakfast, welcoming and helpful staff.

A bit pricey, but worth it.

The room was lovely. The breakfast was great. The young man managing the hotel was excellent - very obliging, helpful & friendly.

The climb up 2 long flights of stairs at the end of a long day. Despite the attempt at AirCon, it was still quite warm & the AirCon was very noisey.

Wonderful boutique hotel with excellent restaurant.

This former train station has been transformed to a great boutique hotel. The restaurant is superb! Our room had a sitting room and a bedroom. The staff is warm and welcoming!

Very pleasant stay

very friendly staff and a cosy and spacious room. The bed was very comfy too and there were extra pillows available. Good WiFi. The restaurant was nice as well.

Some minor things: the fan in the bathroom and they could make a socket in the bathroom so you can dry your hair there

When a hotel feels just like home

I am sorry that it is not possible to give this hotel a higher note than 10, as they truly deserve it! We had one of the best stays ever and will book this hotel again when we visit Amsterdam next time.

Wonderful small hotel

The room was clean, big and very well equipped. It was a pleasure to stay in such a historic place with train-station design. Breakfast was wonderful and nicely served. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Lovely stay at the classic railway station

Het Spoorhuis is a classic railway station transformed into a restaurant and B&B rooms. The renovations have been doen in a stylish way and it is a pleasant place to be. Our room (Noord) was lovely, well laid out, and with a spacious shower. We did not take breakfast but we had lunch with friends. The menu is very attractive. The dishes are well presented and everyone was happy with their choice.

Classy Dutch Character with top service

The place had plenty of parking. The renovations are done very well and keep the place in Dutch character. I recommend walking on the river, having a beer or two in the local pubs, and coming back for dinner. The breakfast was perfect had plenty to offer on the one large board. All the staff was very friendly & helpful. It was the end of my visit to The Netherlands and fly back from Schiphol the next morning. Dank je wel!
