Perfect stay: beautiful property and delicious breakfast.

Beautiful property with very specious room and bathroom. I traveled on my own and felt very safe. Breakfast was delicious with home made cakes and selections of Italian cold meat!

Pleasant stay ,location of the property is the real plus

Location was good . Easy to find

Building is old , apartment is a little dated, it looks like something from the 1950’s. Furniture is old ..basic accommodation, but good location

Un auténtico timo

La ubicación

Es una especie de bed and breakfast desatendido. No hay nadie ni para el check in ni check out. Te mandan las instrucciones por whatsapp. Es un piso con una reforma barata pero resultona. La habitación es grande pero mal insonorizada. El ruido del tranvía y el tráfico es elevado. El baño es muy justo y poco cómodo. Un wc con cisterna de plástico, una ducha pequeña y con poca presión del agua. Las toallas son viejas. La alfombra de la habitación está vieja y sucia. Encontramos un mando a distancia de TV y un mando de Nintendo de otros clientes dentro del sofá cama. Lo peor de todo el desayuno. En una pequeña cocina te dejan un desayuno preparado la mañana anterior. Pan seco y trozos de tarta. En el frigo unos trozos de queso de barra y jamón York de mala calidad. Solo había unas botellas de zumo envasado casi terminadas. No había suficiente leche. Cápsulas de café barato y malo. Ni tan siquiera agua de cortesía en la habitación. Descubrimos al día siguiente un grifo de agua filtrada. Pedí información a la propietaria por whatsapp pero no fue de ayuda. Pedí un late check out y ni tan siquiera recibí respuesta. 300 euros por una noche no se corresponde con un servicio tan inexistente y unas condiciones tan precarias. Me he sentido muy estafada. Adjunto fotos que demuestran lo cutre que fue todo. Las seis rebanadas de pan estaban ahí cuando llegamos y 24h más tarde seguían allí para el desayuno del día siguiente

Viaggio bellissimo

B&b graziosissimo, curato in ogni particolare e accogliente, in pieno centro a Bologna. Abbiamo alloggiato nella camera "Lanterne Rosse", stanza molto ampia con bagno altrettanto ampio e pulitissimo. Il letto era davvero comodo e la stanza calda e confortevole.

Mi è dispiaciuto l'aspetto "automatizzato" del soggiorno, quindi non aver avuto un rapporto diretto con i proprietari di casa, ma sono comunque stati presenti per messaggio.

Great location, good value, clean and comfortable! We’ll be back.

The location is the best. A large bathroom. A well stocked kitchen with a nice selection breakfast foods and snacks. The elevator was nice to have too.

It was a little noisy into the early morning, however it was Halloween weekend.

It was ok.

Interesting building and decor. The room was spacious and comfortable. The en-suite facilities were good.

No human contact! Everything was done by text and the breakfast was completely self service. The place is situated on a busy crossroads so is quite noisy.

We were a bit disappointed at finding tea bags from the previous guests that were not cleaned out and despite of communicating this the host nothing was done. Either cleaning it up or bringing tea bags further us to consume would have been good.

Bologna is a beautiful city and staying here made it better.

Location is ideal. Its near all the sights etc. The room was amazing, high ceilings, balcony to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Very comfortable bed, lovely shower. It as just fabulous. The breakfast was self serve and lots of choices. Met the host and she was lovey, so nice and helpful, like meeting an old friend.

I have tried to find something, but I struggled.

Spacious Bologna!

You have a kind of a small apartment with a unbelievable spacious bathroom and a room with a comfortable bed. Everything you need is there. You walk three minutes to Quadrilatero. A supermercato is on the other side of the apartment and many bars and restaurants are located in our street.

Charming stay in the heart of Bologna

Lovely building and apartment, the owner is very helpful. Large, newly renovated bathroom. 5 min walk to the main square.

At the time of this review it was not mentioned anywhere that there is a city tax in addition to the room charge and it has to be paid separately. Of course this is clearly stated on the Bologna municipality website, but I suggest to add it to the additional info section as it needs to be paid in cash and it is quite significant - 4 Eur person/night.

We loved the location, it was very close to everything and quiet. Our room had lots of charm from the entrance with a hidden door to the bathroom which looked like a lounge. The staff were useful with the questions we had.

Well placed for visiting Bologna, close to restaurants, cafes, museums...the list goes on. Breakfast is lovely, the shared kitchen is available during the day and which was a pleasant surprise!

Noisy at night. Not majorly disturbing, but noisy at periods - cars, people, etc. It would not stop us from staying again!

A delightful, charming apartment in a central location.

We fell in love with this charming little flat, full of character and lovely details, with a separate sitting room, a TV in each room, big wardrobe and central location. The owner/manager responded to our request for slippers (which, due to a delayed delivery, had not been there at our arrival) on the same day, and also accommodated our breakfast request for eggs and local mortadella bologna for the second day's breakfast. Everything was clean and tidy.

The shower in our flat (la ragazza con la valigia) was very narrow and only had a shower plate above. These features make it difficult for women as well as anyone slightly even larger. A small fridge in our rooms would have been useful. There's a lovely common kitchen, which gave the shared apartment a cosy, communal feel, but no one at breakfast time (even if just for an hour) made it a bit uncomfortable for more than two people to serve themselves (getting up and moving around to open the fridge, get to the coffee machine, etc) as the kitchen is long and narrow. Also, we were disappointed not to enjoy wonderful Italian coffee like cappuccino or latte as there was just a nespresso type machine (which wasn't working on the second morning). The breakfast itself was mainly cakes and sweet biscuits but, at least when we were there, not particularly tasty or fresh (especially on the first day). For the price of the accommodation, a little more personal attention to breakfast service and quality would make an enormous difference (the city and apartment so merit it to complement the old world style of the decor). The lady cleaning up after breakfast only speaks Italian, which I enjoyed very much as I was able to practice but it presented a difficulty for non-speakers. However, she was a lovely, courteous and friendly person who communicated our request for something more savory on day 2.

Nicoletta was wonderful to work with and the place was very well located, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Check in was a breeze. We were in the room "Camera con vista" which had a lovely balcony as well. It was a bit quiet at night which at first we were a bit weary of since the property is located within a private building, but quickly realized this made for a very pleasant stay. The building was very close to all attractions and restaurants. We would love to visit Bologna again and stay at the Liberty House!

Superb

The unique individualism of the property. The wonderful hostess and her team along with very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was lovely set up in a common dining area, typical Italian style and plenty to choose from. On top of all this, you step out the door and are in the heart of magnificent Bologna.

Nothing to spoil out time at Liberty House, but water could be warmer in the shower.
