- beautiful location.. mountains and lake
- nice clean western toilet
- nice food
- friendly staff
Tips for future guests - bring warm clothes and bring a POWER BANK - They don't have any plug socket where you can charge your devices
Scope for improvement- Maybe leave some coal / wood for fireplace at night because the yurt gets cold after midnight

It was pretty much what I expected: yurt near lake in the middle of nowhere :) I didn't expect that there will be no signal, but a break from internet is good sometimes. One of the hosts speaks good English. They were very kind to prepare breakfast for me very early. Bathroom and shower were close outside and you need to announce when you want to shower.
The bed I was sleeping on (it was a spare one) was small and uncomfortable, but spending just one night was not a big deal

The place is in a really beautiful valley near the lake, but not right beside it. Yurts are cozy with very thick blankets. The food at the lunch, dinner and breakfast are good. Staff is nice and some also speaks english. You can enjoy some peace and quiet in the nature, but don't expect electricity (altough you have light in the yurt), wifi or anything luxury. There are two western toilets! For an extra cost you can also go horseback riding or use hot room with hot water. There are lots of animals close to yurts.
Everything was good.

Beautiful nature, friendly hosts and information available in English

Amazing location, friendly family who run it, and great food - including veggie options. A group of clean, authentic private yurts (between 2-6 bed i think), a central dining yurt, and a toilet block with two western style toilets and a shower. Perfect place to stay for a couple of nights if you want peace and amazing stars!
Yurts can get a little chilly at night!

Very hospitable and client oriented owners - we arrived and asked for lunch, which was super tasty and was prepared especially just for us. Delicious freshly made food. Very clean and very authentic. We will definitely come again!

A Memorable Experience at Yurt Camp Azamat at Song Kol lake
I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Yurt Camp Azamat, and it was a truly unique and memorable experience. Nestled amidst the picturesque beauty of nature, this camp offers an authentic glimpse into the traditional nomadic lifestyle of the region.
interior decor was tastefully done, incorporating elements of local craftsmanship and culture. It was fascinating to learn about the construction of the yurts and their historical significance, which added to the overall charm of the experience.
The camp's staff were friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to ensure that guests had a pleasant stay and were readily available to answer any questions or assist with any needs. The hospitality extended by the staff truly enhanced the overall experience and made me feel at home.
The location of the Yurt Camp was simply breathtaking. Surrounded by majestic mountains and vast open landscapes, it provided a sense of tranquility and escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The opportunity to explore the natural surroundings through guided hikes or horseback riding was a highlight of my visit.

This is a great (remote) location, along the shores of beautiful Song Kul. The stars were amazing. We were met with a good dinner and breakfast was generous. Our yurt was quite comfortable.
Clear directions needed! We struggled to find the yurt camp as darkness was falling.

10/10 for everything. Stunning location, worth the effort to get to. The host family who run the camp are lovely and were very welcoming even when we arrived late in the evening. Food provided is very good and the communal yurt was a nice place to speak to other guests. Lots of outdoor seating. Western style toilet. Yurts are clean and comfortable with a nice stove which is lit at night. Don't miss the stars, and wrap up warm at night!

This yurt camp is perfectly situated between 2 hills, near the lake. It was perfect for our family of 6; the yurts were comfortable, the food was plentiful and delicious, there was a cool swing and a play area for the kids, and the host family is super nice! We also did some horseback riding which the kids loved!

Yurt Camp Azamat is located in a beautiful valley a 10 minute walk from Lake Song Kol. The views of the mountains, lake, and surrounding valleys are awe inspiring. Even more important, the family that runs the camp are amazing. We arrived late after experiencing a flat tire . But they prepared a dinner for 8 weary travelers at 9:30 pm anyway. The food is excellent, and the hosts are charming. We enjoyed 2 days of horseback riding, hiking, playing soccer and volleyball and hanging out with the entire camp in the evening around a camp fire. The valleys are full of horses, cows, goats, donkeys, marmots, birds, and even yaks. The pace is slow and peaceful in this beautiful place. When we left, one member of our party accidentally dropped their passport. Before we had even realized that the passport was missing, the camp hosts arranged for the passport to be transported to Bishkek, and called to let us know where to pick it up. These are wonderful people and this is a very special place!
We loved everything about the property! The road to Song Kol is quite stunning - with beautiful views, but stretches of dirt road, so be prepared! It is well worth the journey!

It is a remote location with unspoiled nature. Good place to experience the local culture.
There was fresh and clean water that comes from underground, and the facilities were clean and practical.
It was all good as it is supposed to be, nothing negative. Do not miss the right turn towards the plains from the road!

Everything perfect.

The family was really nice about everything. We went there in mid september and they light a fire in the yurt to be warmer which was well appreciated with around 0° at night! The yurt and wc are clean, we could do a horse ridding tour. Recommend it!

Great location. Friendly family. The food on one of the nights was very good. Can ride horses. The yurts are very comfortable.
It's a little bit expensive, but if you don't mind the price it's a nice, comfortable stay.

Very friendly family, beautiful location and great horse riding!

Has nothing to do with the yurt camp, I just needed to say that the ORSHO BOLOT memorial nearby was so old that the heavy iron door fell just as two unsuspecting Spanish tourists were inspecting it and split open the Spaniard's head who had to be brought to Naryn for further treatment. VERY DANGEROUS! DO NOT PUT THE DOOR BACK, IT WILL FALL AGAIN!

Everything was perfect. I highly recommande this yurt camp.
This family is just incredible , they make you comfortable from the beginning to the end.
The young man Abul Adel is just incredible, he speaks English and is very devoted. We did horsing with him.
Food was incredible (there is vegetarian food…)

Amazing host family, with delicious dinners and breakfasts. We spent two nights, explored the lake by horse, stared at the milky way at night, played soccer with the kids, and just enjoyed the wonderful surroundings and quiet nature.
The beds are a bid hard, the banya was not working, but whatever ;-) not a big minus, in such a remote place.

The area is exceptionally beautiful. Riding horses to Kel Suu (takes about 4 hours round trip) was a fun adventure for my family. The food served was delicious, really. We interacted with Ak-Maral, who speaks English, and she was lovely.
There were a few problems, but the biggest was the heating of the yurt. We were prepared for cold weather and didn't need any heat at all. However, the staff heated the yurt without consulting us ... literally to 40C! I am not exaggerating. We were roasting in there. We had them remove coals twice before bed and yet they still came back during the night to add more (we said no). I stayed up all night trying to deal with my daughters, who had fallen asleep completely uncovered with just a t-shirt on and who needed to progressively add layers and get inside their sleeping bags as the temperature inside the yurt dropped from 40C to about 0C throughout the night. I was also scared that one of them might have gotten heat stroke and was constantly checking her forehead for fever. :-(

Beautiful location. Yurts and toilets were extremely clean and well-maintained. The staff were very friendly. They took good care of us. The vegetarian dinner (extra charge) was very good too. They arranged taxi from the camp to Kochkor for 3,500. The driver was very professional and friendly and got us to Kochkor safely. They offered us horses from Kyzart but we arranged it ourselves at a much lower cost.
Nothing. Everything was great.

Beautiful location! Lovely family run the yurt camp. They were very hospitable. We enjoyed horse riding & cozy comfortable beds. It was such a treat to wake up to incredible beauty all around.
