Very nice place to discover Lucca

Il Pozzo di Santa Zita is perfectly situated in the centre of Lucca, but is still reasonably quiet. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Use the list of restaurants they have to offer: all the ones we went to were very nice and not touristic at all!!

Best place to stay in Lucca

I loved loved loved Il Pozzo di Santa Zita, my room was gorgeous. The personal touches in the room were beautiful. Large room and bathroom. Location the best, staff amazing. Would def recommend staying here.

Far better than any 5 Star hotels!

The red room was not only tastefully decorated, it was quiet and very comfortable. And as a major bonus, the owner was extremely knowledgeable about the city and its history. I really appreciated her recommendations and background to many of the sites in Lucca. The location was a stone's throw away from many of the major sites and only a 15 minute walk from the train station.

I do not have a single complaint or suggestion.

We had an AMAZING but short stay in this beautiful city. We will be back again.

The location was perfect!! The staff were friendly and helpful and interesting. We had the best experience on our trip to Italy and Lucca was exceptional!! Thank you so very much! We will definitely be back and stay with you again.

There is nothing to note that we didn’t like. The property is perfect.

Beautiful rooms, beautiful location. Just a little noisy in some rooms. 109% would stay again.

The room we stayed in the first night was perfect. We had to change on second night (two separate bookings) and the second room was smaller and noisier. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were very well designed.

The room at the the front was noisy due to single glazing.

Exceptional accommodation in a quiet street in centre of Lucca. Would highly recommend.

We had the pleasure of staying in 2 different rooms as we had initially booked 1 night then extended it to 2 but couldn’t get same room for both nights. Both rooms were exceptional . The red room was larger overall than the purple room but both rooms were tastefully decorated with lots of attention to detail. Great location in a quiet street in the centre of Lucca . Federica & Rebecka were amazing & very accommodating for us to drop our bags off before check in & arranging a smooth change over when we had to move rooms. Would highly recommend & will definitely return.

Location , outside garden area, comfortable lounge areas. Lovely breakfast & homemade snacks available, throughout the day. Amazing staff.

Slightly disappointed in size of room & thought it was quite basic for the price we paid.

Location convenient for being inside the walls of Lucca. close walk to shopping, great restaurants. Many beautiful churches and museums nearby. Street noise when inside room was minimal. very quiet. The attention to decorating detail of our room was perfect fo us.

great location for a really good price.

we stayed in the pink room on ground floor which was quite noisy in the morning when the staff comes in. the room is also a little cold as there’s no heater.

Location within the walls great for walking to the piazzas. Stylish accommodation..comfortable bed Staff very helpful and informative able to leave luggage for a late flight .. lovely view into the cobbled street and sculpture of santa zita on the wall .

Could have been a least a free bottle of water ..otherwise nothing to complain about

A quiet comfortable retreat in a very convenient location

Comfort, bright and clean apartment. A friendly welcome on arrival. Helpful staff.

Did not dislike anything. Very good attention to detail in the house keeping aspects of the apartment.

We had a great deal on booking and the room was very nice. The location was great too.

The receptionist reminded us repeatedly that we were cheap -- if they don't want customers to strike a bargain, they shouldn't offer the room at a low rate.
