Would stay again.

The location was perfect for our aim of rest and relaxation, with the added bonus of relatively easy access using our vehicle to St Helen's, and some great walking spots. The hosts couldn't have been friendlier.

We did run out of hot water on our last day which wasn't a big deal as we were leaving anyway. The lack of decent wifi was both good as it limited screen time - and bad as it meant not being able to access some things.

Home comfort away from home

Very comfortable and homely. Everything we needed was included in the property. Dennis and Ann were very good hosts and very helpful and went beyond by informing us about local attractions. The property was in a very relaxed and quiet setting.

There wasn’t anything to dislike.

Awesome location you an explore the whole East coast from here Ann and Denis are excellent hosts and the eureka farm produce is second to none. Three bedrooms to spread the family out worked well.

Nice but not nice .

The people who ran this farm were lovely , there were ducks outside our windows and a beautiful kelpie running around who greeted us on the morning after . A lovely farm .

This was the owners old house they were lovely but the cleanliness was poor . We cleaned the bathroom before we used it and the toilet . The couches were also very dirty . The place was crawling with bugs so we had to spray it out . This farm has still food advertised for sale and breakfast . They only do a pie and coffee . Description of place is totally incorrect it says hot tub and balcony all this is not there . We couldn't wait to leave in the morning.

Denis and Ann are great hosts - so friendly, helpful and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly and hospitable hosts. Quiet and peaceful farm surroundings.

TV should have been installed in the dining room and not the bedroom. It was awkward for our friend to come into our bedroom to watch TV. The WiFi really needs to be upgraded so we can access - this is becoming an important item when we travel.

Superb

For a base to explore the NE of Tasmania the location was excellent. I was attracted to the place by its description. I like something a bit out of the ordinary.

Peaceful location. The hosts made us feel very welcome to help ourselves to firewood etc.

Great location, close to all local beaches and shops.

Mobile internet access was quite patchy on the coast so wifi would have made things easier for internet access, but this wasn't the end of the world as we were able to maintain enough reception to keep up to date with online state covid updates, etc.

A total nightmare!

The location to everything was great.

The owner upon meeting us winged about how tired they were and how busy they were. They gave us free fruit which was awesome but upon inspection the berries had grubs, the apricots were brushed and the apple was soft. After check in on closer inspection we found one bug which we promptly sprayed. By midnight we had used 3/4 of a can of bug spray to kill over 30 bugs that kept coming into the “bug shack” as we aptly named it. After a sleepless night we checked out in the morning at 6am and messaged the owner that we had left. We didn’t hear from them until 10am the next day, they didn’t even realise we left. We didn’t stay the additional 2 days as originally booked. They advised they had wifi. They neglected to mention that wifi was only available in their cafe during their open hours. The crockery in the kitchen was dirty and the tiled floor throughout the kitchen was greasy and dirty. The shower leaked out into the remainder of the bathroom and there was no waste in the floor for the water to escape to. We are builders, this “bug shack” would not pass inspection in Queensland and should be condemned. They should be ashamed of charging anyone money for this type of accommodation.

The cottage was very spacious with large dinning area and awesome living room with unique atmosphere. The cottage, plus Ann's & Dennis' hospitality, made us feel like at home. Faboulous NYE stay!

Relaxing farm stay at a beautiful property with welcoming owners

Such a lovely place, the owners are the nicest people and very welcoming with many interesting stories to tell. Our little one enjoyed a taste of the farm life and the location is fantastic for exploring the bay of fires. The farm dogs were also a great hit with our bub.
