Only a 5 minute walk to Blue Stairs South Beach and Kids Corner playground. Only 1 mile from downtown shops and restaurants. Large backyard with fire pit, Weber Genesis gas grill, and patio furniture seating for the entire group.

We have built Sunset Haven specifically for family gatherings of our family and yours. With nearby activities for everyone and located on a quiet side street, it is the perfect place for making memories.

SO MUCH LIVABLE SPACE
Sunset Haven sleeps 12 (all beds-no pullouts) comfortably with several gathering spaces large and small. 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, remodeled and furnished the entire home, a huge open eating area, and so much more!

A King size bed in the master bedroom with an on-suite full bathroom, which includes a custom tile shower. 1 Queen size bed in one hall bedroom and another 2 bedrooms with 2 full size beds in the other 2 bedrooms. Full bathroom on the main level with tub/shower unit and double sinks. Basement full bathroom shower and double sinks. There are 2 eating areas, 2 family rooms, and a large open gathering space.

The property is fully furnished and includes central air conditioning, washer and dryer, fully furnished kitchen, dishwasher, 2 Keurig coffee makers with coffee and creamer provided, microwave, 2 smart TVs, WIFI, DVD player, blow dryers in all bathrooms, patio set table & 12 chairs, 4 beach chairs, gas grill, fire pit, bathroom towels. The kitchen is fully stocked with many spices sm/med/large pots/pans as well as table service for 16 people, silverware, cookware, and utensils.

You will enjoy the refreshing Lake House charm in the decorations. There are many local amenities and attractions to keep you busy. You can enjoy a day at the beach, rent a jet ski or kayak on the nearby Black River, take a bike ride on one of the 2 nearby trails, go fishing, or take a walk to downtown shops and the pier.

There are also local wineries, golf courses, and places to pick fresh fruit. But one of the most memorable moments is watching the sunset over the water near the lighthouse. It's very peaceful and refreshing, your own haven.

This was one of the most amazing places that we have ever rented! Completely updated, super clean, very spacious, and stocked with everything that you'll need for a perfect vacation. The location is wonderful-a short walk to the beach and downtown, and located in a very nice neighborhood. The host was quick to respond to questions. Would highly recommend!

We loved this house! Close to town, close to the beach, clean, large enough for the 3+ families (6 adults and 4 kids mostly, another adult for a few days and yet another adult with 2 kids over for dinner a few days in a row). This is the 4th house in South Haven we have rented so far, and is our favorite. We would 100% stay here again!

Each summer our family rents in South Haven for 4th of July week, already considering booking this same property for next year! We own our own investment properties, and we were blown away by how clean this home was, right down to inside the drawers and cabinets! Even the bath towels were thick and fluffy! We walked to the Kids' Park, the beach, and to watch fireworks. Our granddaughter loved rolling in the thick grass in the private backyard, we enjoyed grilling on the grill and roasting s'mores in the firepit. The attached garage was a plus as we were able to plug in our rented golf cart each night. If you appreciate cleanliness and comfortable furnishings in a quiet neighborhood let close to activities, don't hesitate to book this home!

This property was above and beyond the excellence scale! Ample supplied kitchen. Beds were very comfortable. Location was walking distance to beach and a playground. Newly remodeled house! We've stayed in prior to remodel and loved it, but now this house is on another level. The fully finished basement is a game changer and adds so much more room. Also, this property has some of the best beds we've experienced in South Haven.

Opened the door and was hit with a "new" smell which was supported cleanliness, furnishings, and decor. Give a decorator the direction to decorate their vision of a beach home and this was it. It was exceptionally clean and an easy stay. On the downside - we took some small kids (3 year old and 1 year old) - The decorations had a lot of temptations to play with all the little decor items - luckily we kept them busy with other things to play with. But the proximity to Kids Corner was exceptional. A fantastic stay and we've love to go back.

The house is a wonderful space for a multi family vacation! (3 adults, 4 kids 8 and under). Plenty of room for kids to play and explore. We love the remodel and all of the new extras! Kids loved the foosball table and arcade games. The location is perfect and everything went very smoothly. Communication with the owner was great. I hope we'll be back for another South Haven get away here next summer!

Exceeded expectations! Number 1 with us a rental has to be CLEAN! 3 bathrooms wonderful! Spacious! Fantastic location for us. Reunion site a mile away. Husband born & raised in SH a few blocks from blue stairs. Our daughter & son in law & almost 3 yr old granddaughter & 7 year old grandson & daughter & fiancé enjoyed as well. We all live in Naples, FL & felt blessed to be back in the mitten to enjoy the gorgeous weather! So many fond memories! Beach, boating, bakery, Sherman’s ice cream, St Basil’s Catholic Church, kids corner, picking blueberries, sunsets @ blue stairs. Thank you!

The house was very recently totally updated and was clean and "new" in all areas. Plenty of space and everything worked fine. A 3-block walk to the beach and just past the Kids Corner playground and then across the street has stairs down to the beach made it convenient to South Beach. The owner was very responsive to all inquiries. Great place to stay in South Haven.

We were lucky as we booked this house before the massive renovation. The house is very nice. The kitchen is well stocked. The master bedroom shower was amazing. We stayed with our 2 and 4 year old children. It is a very easy walk to a great playground and the blue stairs beach. Also, only a short drive into town and to the dunes at Van Buren State Park. Our kids loved the giant basement and playing hide and seek there. The only very minor gripe we had was the lack of throw blankets. We had some bad weather the first 2 days and a nice throw blanket would have been great for watching TV on the couch.

The location is great. 5 minutes walk to the beach, 20 minutes walk to downtown shops and restaurants. 10 minute drive to State Park. Great trails and bike paths near by. Wonderful vacation spot. The property was exactly as described on the VRBO site. Great location and the property was well maintained, clean and perfect for our family getaway. There was recoating being done on the street when we arrived, so it made it inconvenient to access the home with luggage, but this is probably only a once every one or two year kind of maintenance, so should not be a problem for others. Otherwise, the place was outstanding.

This house was a great spot for our family of 4! Our little girls, ages 3 and 5, loved kids corner just a block and a half away and we loved the ability to walk there and to the beach with them. The house was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning up. We would definitely stay here again!

Our visit was short and the weather wasn't the best but the house was in a great location and was very well stocked, including plenty of paper products, bath towels, everything we needed in the kitchen and more! Only negative was the late check in (5pm) and early check out (10am) times. I understand those can be due to cleaning staff issues but it did feel a bit like we got shorted. Oh and the bedroom with two beds could use a lamp on the bedside table for bedtime reading (a minor detail) . Would definitely stay again and hopefully for a little longer next time.

Great location, close to park, South Beach and downtown. Nice quiet block, perfect for a toddler at night time. Home was a lot nicer, cleaner and updated compared to some of those old, creaky cottages by the beach. Manager was great at communicating as well. Per other reviews, beds are a bit creaky but I feel like that’s the case for a lot of the South Haven properties.

I highly recommend this property. It was super clean, roomy, cute decor and great location. We thoroughly enjoyed the beach, which was an easy walk, and the playland was a bonus for the kids. Close to downtown food/shopping. The neighbors and community were very nice, as well. Mandy was great to communicate with. When In the area again, we will definitely seek out this rental.

This house was the cleanest we've ever stayed at. The owner left clear instructions for everything, even how to turn on the TV. She was also very responsive, friendly, and kind. Loved the short walk to the beach and playground. Being on a private drive was a nice perk, as it was a quiet area. We'd love to stay here again.

We had a great time with family at Sunset Haven! The house was clean, equipped and very comfortable. The rooms were spacious and gave us places to spread out as well as a place to gather for food , cards and movies! The beach was within walking distance. The neighborhood was quiet.
