Estancia en el apartamento

El apartamento es muy acogedor, tiene todo lo necesario incluso horno que no es habitual en un piso de alquiler, el parking es grande cabe una furgoneta. El propietario muy amable si le escribes siempre tarda muy poco en responder.

Al llegar al apartamento nada tenía pilas,ni el mando de la TV ni el mando de la calefacción incluso ni el mando de la puerta automática para salir, lo pasamos un poco mal la verdad. En la cocina falta un escurridor y unas tijeras. Sólo te dejan un rollo de papel del WC por lo que tienes que comprar más. Bolsas de basura tb solo te dejan una

Great place to visit Carcassonne !

This apartment is simple, but very efficient ! Clean and fresh, you feel yourself very good from the first minute you're here ! Attributed place in private parking is a big plus ! The place is very quiet, and you just feel good on wake up with your morning coffee, or night time with a last drink -- whatever ;-)) Our main target was Carcassonne City, which is less than 10min driving from this apartment. Our staying was so great, that I extended initial booking for one day more ! ;-)) Then, regarding Carcassonne -- we can speak endless about, and words are still nothing, you have to visit it yourself to understand ;-)) Not yo mention other great places to visit.. While one special word should be absolutely about food !!! -- whatever cuisine you prefer, you'll find your joy ! but local food is just magic ! ;-))

Apartment is uninhabitable in the heat but I wish I could have slept in the pool.

The swimming pool was a welcome relief from the heat.

We had no instruction on where the key box was to be found. The host sent a video to a Google Drive account which URL was not working (it worked for them though and was not mandatory - very helpful to know it works for you, but didn't help our situation!) so we arrived without knowing where the keybox was.. I happened to find the 2 hidden keyboxes by chance. We had no instructions on how to access the pool area. We asked a tenant for assistance who was very helpful. A badly mounted wall mirror fell off the wall and landed on my 2 year old - we had to store it in the hallway cupboard where the doors were badly alined and would not function properly. The bedrooms were extremely hot (due to a heat wave which of course the host had no control over). The apartment became so uncomfortable that none of my family could sleep. We departed at 1am, regretfully leaving Carcassonne and the castle for another visit another time in the future. We live in south France, and had travelled through Italy and Monaco prior to our arrival so we are used to the heat. It was 25 degrees outside and approx 35 degrees inside at 1am despite a powerful fan (bought by us). 2 fans thankfully provided by the host were pointed at my children during the evening. All shutters were closed following our arrival at 5pm to shield from the remaining heat of the day. They were half closed on our arrival. This apartment requires air conditioning.

Good value for money.

It's a flat in a small block of flats. Good size for 2 people. Kitchen had all the appliances you needed. Small balcony to sit out on. Secure parking. It is the other side of Carcasonne to the ancient city. We walked there in 40 minutes. But he price is competitive. Host was responsive to text messages.

it was okay.

the house is very clean, the house is beautiful, and everything is available. the location is calm, warm. the bathroom is clean and warm water available.

it's not true that there is a view, there is no view, not of the city nor the landmark. in addition, it's far from the main location, which makes it not very accessible. also, i understand the owner was abused previously by previous renters, but why the client will be responsible for cleaning up the whole appartment? if we don't clean it we will pay a fine. not all renters are dirty. anyway, i believe by paying cleaning fees, the owner should be responsible for cleaning the appartment and not the client.

Very nice stay in Carcassonne, great value for money

very good value for money, apartment was very tidy and clean, balcony view for breakfast was fantastic, free private parking, free access to swimming pool, good location (15 minute walk to center and around 20 to the city walls), easy collecting keys at arrival and entering the building/apartment, communication very good with owner, everything well organized

it was a bit hot in the night, even with the ventilators and the shutters down it was still pretty warm and a bit difficult to sleep (this is however typical for rooms that are not on ground floors in an apartment flat)

Excellent apartment but poor communication from the property

Spacious and very clean apartment in a quiet and safe commnity. Sufficinet facilities. Private parking. Located nearby the Canal.

When the property requesed the deposit they sent information via email, SMS and booking message. I download the instructions including the codes information and the rules for the stay. However, they added rules (to put the linens in the washing machine and the towels in the black bag) one day before the departure which were not indicated in the original document. The problem is that they sent this kind of important message (if we do not follow the new rule we will be charged 18 euro) only via booking message. I saw the message by chance when i was already in the car ready to return the key and checked out. Consequntly i had to return and follow the additinal rules which made the departure in the rush and in a mess. Noy every one will check booking message every day. They should have sent it as they requested the deposit to ensure people are aware of it. Without this issue it should have been perfect and excellent.
