About this house rental
Recently renovated Victorian lake home. With all the original architecture, this cottage has TONS of appeal to vacationing guests! A rare find on Keuka Lake, and only a mile from Penn Yan, this 3 bedroom 2 bath has panoramic views of the lake from every room in the house.
The remodeled well-appointed kitchen features stainless steel appliances, Silestone countertops, wine glass holder & wine rack, maple cabinets, ceramic tile floors & a ceiling fan. It is well-stocked with all the spices, utensils, pots & pans a gourmet chef could need! The dining room has panoramic lake views, country style dining table with seating for 8. The spacious living room with breathtaking lake views features a electric fire place and a smart flat screened TV. Summer breezes off the lake can be enjoyed through beautiful french doors that open to the large covered porch, which also features 2 large ceiling fans. The house is fully heated with air conditioning as well.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, window seat for quiet reading space, a ceiling fan, a flat screen TV, and panoramic views of the lake. The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin beds, (which can be changed into a king sized bed), a queen futon, as well as a set of bunk beds. It also has ceiling fan, a flat screen TV , a DVD player, and has panoramic views of the lake as well. Both are upstairs. The 3rd bedroom is on the first floor. It is off the living room and down a few stairs. There is a double bed and a ceiling fan.
The first floor living room has 2 queen sleeper sofas for additional sleeping arrangements. First floor bath has a shower/tub combo. Second floor bath has a jetted Jacuzzi tub/shower, with a washer/dryer in the closet.
A canoe & paddleboat, along with several life jackets, are available for your use.

Very nice location. However Kirk had the opportunity to tell me upon check in that the house had AC issues. Apparently the house doesn’t have adequate insulation to keep the interior cool on hot days. AC couldn’t keep the temps tolerable at all. Hot outside and inside. For the per night cost I expected much better conditions for my family. Renters beware

The house was beautiful and you cannot beat the porch and the view. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, I would book this place again in a heartbeat.

This place was so charming and beautiful, instantly at peace from the moment we stepped on the dock. We loved everything about the home and location, already planning to book again next year. The owners thought of everything, there was nothing we needed-thwt even had supplies for us to make a fire outside, and a nice binder for everything we might need to know.

This cozy cottage provided our family with the perfect spot for a fall Keuka Lake retreat. Our host was delightful and provided all we needed for a memorable stay. The broad porch and the fire pit, wood provided, were enticing features during the crisp fall days. We hope to visit again!

Property is beautiful, situated right on Keuka Lake. We enjoyed spending time on the back deck listening to the waves rolling in and spending time with our group of friends. Check in, check out process was seamless, and property owner kept us very informed in days leading up to our stay. Would definitely recommend this property

My husband and I along with 2 sons and their wives had a wedding to attend nearby. House was perfect for our stay. Beautiful and comfortable. Wish our stay was longer. Would definitely come back again!

Very relaxing stay. Even though the weather was not the best, we were very happy enjoying the lovely front porch and views of the lake. Home was clean, kitchen complete with anything you need.Upstairs bedrooms very spacious . Very boat that was able to accommodate out pontoon boat nicely. Owners were very helpful and we would love to come back again.

This property is a great getaway. The property is immaculately maintained and the the hosts, Kirk & Barb are wonderful to work with. They are responsive to your needs to the last detail. I would not hesitate to highly recommend this vacation stay to anyone interested in a beautiful, clean vacation destination. 5 stars all the way!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The view was incredible, and being right on the water was so relaxing. The cottage was beautiful and clean, and the pictures were accurate. The location was great. I hope to come back another time!

This is a beautifully restored historic lakefront property with a great front porch and nicely landscaped yard, perfect for outdoor living . Although the week we visited was unseasonably cold and windy we enjoyed our time inside. The location was also very good-close to town yet felt private.

LAKE FUN 2022
2nd time staying here and hope there is a 3rd. No complaints by anyone in our group. lots of parking, close to town, house is clean and well stocked, porch is the BEST and love the porch swing. Clean lake, great dock, ample chairs around fire pit. we had a great fun relaxing time.

My wife and I, son, daughter in law and granddaughters ranging in age from 9 months to 4 years old came to Penn Yan to attend all the events related to out other son’s wedding at Crispin Hill. This home on Keuka Lake is well equipped, beautifully appointed, well maintained and perfectly located. We had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our stay. Perfect Place for a Girls Getaway
We spent two nights at this beautiful home and look forward to returning. Our group of 8 ladies had lots of room …tons of places to sleep and to gather to chat and laugh. We spent a few hours visiting the nearby wineries, but we looked forward to returning home to hang out on the porch (taking in the spectacular view) or play games in the dining room. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. It was absolutely perfect for celebrating a retirement!

Fabulous lake house!
Our family rented the lake house to relax and celebrate our daughter’s wedding at Crispin Hill. The house was well appointed, comfortable, and clean. The owners were great! The responded to all our questions and provided what we needed right away; no waiting. We hated to leave. We will definitely stay there again!

Wonderful Stay at Eastview Cottage
What a spectacular cottage and view of the lake! We could have stayed outside on the back porch the entire time never leave the gorgeous property. I communicated with Kirk many times before our trip and he was a pleasure to deal with. He answered all of my questions and gave us tips to enjoy the area. This charming cottage afforded us the perfect getaway for 6 adults and we look forward to returning one day.

We’ve been planning this vacation for a long time and had high expectations for our visit. Eastview Cottage did not disappoint! The cottage and grounds are charming, the location is serene and the owners are just lovely. You’ll love it!

Lake Fun 2021
We had such a good time at Eastview Cottage. Not one thing to complain about except that we had to leave. Loved the porch and camp fire. Full moon was amazing. Kirk and Barb, the owners were very nice and made us feel welcome. I greatly appreciate them having this magical place available to rent.
Hope to come back some day.
