The hot tub and game room topped the almost perfect experience with this house. Location was great. 3 king beds for adults and a bunk room for cousins were big pluses; would have been nice to have one more queen/double or king for the 4th adult couple. The huge 6-burner Viking stove was quirky, but other appliances were more than expected. Big refrigerator (no icemaker), 2 microwaves washer/dryer were nice. We unplugged a CO2 monitor because of constant chirping. The hosts provided so many niceties—paper towels, laundry detergent, toilet paper, but our 14-person family used up the goodies before the end of the stay. A high chair for the baby would have been helpful.

You could not ask for a better location for a ski trip! The free shuttle to Peak 8 was right at the end of the driveway and it was a short (few minutes) ride to the slopes. The house had plenty of room for us , our 4 grown children and their spouses and our 2 year old grandson. The decor was charming and the place had a nice kitchen to cook in. Hats off to the owner!

Overall we enjoyed this stay. We did have to go to the store to purchase a few essentials like hand soap and paper towels for the kitchen

Overall, this was a great place to stay for a ski vacation. The house is literally a 30 yard walk to the stop for the free bus that takes you to Peak 7 or 8. If you didn't have your ski gear with you, it would be an easy walk to Peak 8 rather than waiting for the bus.
The house was as advertised, well-equipped, and clean. Hot tub was particularly great. Our only complaint was that the large TV in the bonus/media room didn't work properly -- there's no cable on that TV so you can only stream to it, which would have been fine but the WiFi wasn't strong enough to actually do that. We could never get the stream to last longer than about 20 minutes, so that wasn't workable. A shame, because the main living room wasn't really large enough for our whole group to sit around comfortably to watch TV together. Owner probably just needs to buy a WiFi extender or pay for a better streaming solution. We did raise the issue with the property manager, but she had no solutions to suggest. Still, we'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

Our stay was wonderful! The views were gorgeous and we loved all the snow that we got. The property was close to town and the shuttle bus stop at the end of the drive was amazing for getting to town and to the slopes. The house worked perfectly for our family of six adults and two children. Other than a few issues with tv remotes and master fireplace remote, our only other complaint was that the floors didn’t look as if they had been mopped completely. I did clean up a little. The home was beautiful and would love to return in the future. It was a wonderful get away for our family!

My family spent a week in Breckenridge this summer, and this home was sufficient for our needs. The home is quite large, and we enjoyed the ability to spread out. However, the house felt neglected and that impacted the quality of our stay. Many little things around the home were broken and in need of repair, and it was clear that a thorough cleaning has not been completed in quite some time. We enjoyed our time in Breck, but I would not stay here again until the upkeep and cleaning has improved.

The goods:
Although some of the layout designs are odd, the space was adequate for our group. Location was pretty good - a short walk up hill to peak 8 area, or a 4 minute drive down to town. Instructions and communication were good.
The bads:
Not clean enough for an expensive stay such as this. Perhaps its just oversight by a cleaning crew that does 2-3 houses a day and has no investment interests? For example, in the master we had a light fixture above the bed with an old spider web almost completely covering it. Also, the drawers coming out of the bottom of the bed frame hadn't been dusted in a LONG time. Additionally, and one of the worst parts, the patio had tons of huge weeds growing up between the rocks, all over the place. The little man-made water creek in back also was not only not working, but a disgusting, stagnant puddle sat in the bottom area with old cigar butts, etc in it. It also caused the mosquito issue in back to be an issue.
The washing machine only worked intermittently. Even the manager exclaimed how it was on its last leg, and wished up good luck. My wife had to research it, do a hard reset more that once, etc.. We were lucky it worked barely enough.
The TV in the game room is very old, and will not connect via new technology/internet type of apps and gaming.
You get the idea. There are several other things but this review is long enough all ready.
Overall, it would be an OK place to stay for the money IF all of these things were better.

Location and house are fantastic.

Great location and perfect for a large group!
4.8
Great house for a large group or multiple families as we had 14 adults and were very comfortable. Great location as it is very quiet and private surrounded by other large homes that are private residences. Shuttle stop is at the end of the driveway and is last stop before Peaks 7 & 8 and first stop on way back. Also easy to get back and forth to town on the shuttle. Communication with host rep was great and super responsive.

Everything was great! Wonderful home, great location!

Beautiful house and great location. There were some issues that we didn't expect for the price of the rental...Water in the hot tub was green. The patio leading to hot tub, front sidewalk, driveway and street dangerously ice packed. There was also trash and dog feces all over the driveway when we arrived. The house was VERY dusty and there were more than a handful of light bulbs burned out inside. Ignoring all of that, it was perfect.

In general the house was in good shape. It had the not unexpected dings and signs of use that a rental gets over time. The house doesn’t stock but has- accumulated from previous guests - very useful kitchen stuff like coffee filters for drip coffee makers, spices, olive oil, baking supplies like flour and corn starch. Great location with a gold route bus stop right at the end of the driveway- and two stops to peak 8 base. Hot tub was great. So many sleeping spots (13) that the office area even had been converted on the main level with a twin and trundle - it would have been nice to have that as a real office area with a door that closed for zoom meetings during our stay. The yard was fenced by both a split rail type of fence and 2x4 mesh which was great for the dog and the main reason we chose this rental. Would rent this again.

We loved this home. We stayed for the month of Feb. Location was perfect with a shuttle stop at the top of the driveway. Short ride to peak 7 and 8 and downtown. Lots of room and a great hot tub!
Lauren, the property manager was great to work with! We will be back one day!

Fantastic property for my family and my friend's family on our annual Breck ski trip! We had 4 adults and 7 teens/preteens and there was plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was nice and large and had plenty of cooking utensils for us to make meals and grill. We loved having our own private hot tub out back as well. The location was perfect being right in front of the shuttle stop. The property manager was very responsive whenever we had any questions and even allowed us to get in a little early was the property was clean and we had nowhere to go when we arrived!

11 of our family members spent Thanksgiving week in this beautiful house, including preparing our traditional meal on Thanksgiving day. The kitchen & dining areas were perfect, with lots of space for hanging out. (The game room was everyone’s favorite!) Finally, the location was amazing with gorgeous views and easy access to downtown and the mountain for snow play!

Great home for family
The best feature of their house was the game room upstairs to the back of the house. We had 2 small children that went to bed early. The adults were about to enjoy the rest of the evening without worrying about waking the children. Kitchen was well equipped. Being able to use the garage was helpful as we did have some afternoons of rain.
One concern was the toilets. Required numerous flushes.

Excellent location for a large family vacation!
This house is only a short walk up to Peak 8 and a few steps to the free bus stop. The house was very nice and comfortable for our family of 12. My only complaint was that the small pond in the back patio was filled with black and stagnant water. We were concerned for our 2 and 4 year old kiddos. We needed more garbage storage. Otherwise, we had a very enjoyable stay.

I found the property to be very nicely styled and the location was also excellent. I would have a better supply of soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, etc. Many other nice additions, such as the hottub, extra blankets, kitchen dishes, pans and utensils.

We stayed at this property with a group of friends from all over the country during ski season. It was an absolutely fantastic space and size for a group with plenty of rooms and space to relax. The location is walkable to peak 8 base or one stop on the bus.

A group of 11 of us who are long-time friends and a couple of our children enjoyed 5 nights at this home and were so sorry to leave! The house is extremely clean and inviting. The furniture and beds are comfortable, and the gas fireplaces (there are 2) and radiant heat wood floors make the home very cozy! The kitchen is large and well appointed and there are two separate dining areas to eat. There's also access to a large, heated garage for storing ski equipment and for taking off ski gear after a great day on the slopes. Speaking of which -- this house is in a PERFECT location if you're looking to ski or go to town. The bus stops to town and to Peaks 7 and 8 are no more than a 50 foot walk RIGHT NEXT to the house. The busses weren't running on time when we were there, but President's Day weekend is the busiest of the year, we hear -- so demand was very high. The home is also a 10 minute walk from the base of peak 8, so walking home downhill isn't a big deal, either. The town isn't walkable but the free bus to town is only a 5-10 min ride. We also enjoyed the hot tub, which is right outside the back door. It's very private back there, with snow and trees blocking the view of other homes. Making the experience even better, the agent who rents the home is incredibly responsive (usually within minutes of every message!) and bends over backwards to make your vacation the best it can be. As you can tell, I highly recommend this high-end home and hope to stay there again one day.

The house is in a great location and overall was a good house. Just needs a little updating. Lost power an hour after we got to the house. No flashlights, no candles and no assistance. Should have flashlights in the house. We paid holiday rates so we expected a little more. Kleenex would have been nice. Beds need to be replaced. Pots and pans need to be updated.

Very spacious home for our family of 6.. Great game room and nice finishes. The kitchen was fully stocked for our needs. We cooked every night. The location was very close to peak 8 and the shuttle is steps away from the front door. The response time to our minor issues were answered next day and the communication was excellent with the property manager. We would def stay here again.

Loved this house!! super cozy, family friendly, Fantastic location, fun game room, beautiful views! Only “con” was we couldn’t get the wifi to work, but we used hotspots for the little bit we needed it. 10/10 recommend!

Everyone in our group loved this property. They did let us bring our dog and our dog loved the fenced-in back yard. The location was excellent and the stay was punctuated by a number of local animals that "visited" us including a raccoon, a fox and just about the largest moose I ever saw, who just wandered down the road one morning. The property had everything we needed and the check-in and check-out was seamless.
