Warm, spacious musician's home with old Hollywood bungalow charm. Tree filled lot with 45 ft fenced pool (unheated but warm July -Sept), patio/barbecue area and lawn. Living space has open floor plan with high ceilings, hardwood floors throughout, bay windows, woodburning fireplace and eat-in kitchen. Living room is entertainment focused with 55" 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, surround sound, cable//DVD and a baby grand piano. Dining room seats 5-6 comfortably. Computer area has antique desk, printer, 5G, and high speed wireless internet. Master bedroom has queen bed, French doors to deck and yard, large closet with overhead suitcase storage, and 40" Smart TV. Master bath has two-person jacuzzi tub/shower with antique vanity and bidet. Second bedroom has double bed, additional single bed and 40" Smart TV. Queen sleeper sofa in living room and single rollaway bed in closet. There is a Ring doorbell/camera on the front porch.

This is our second stay with Steve and Jeannine, and it was just as perfect as the first time around. The house has all the comforts one wants during vacation. The pool is the real star - my kiddos wanted to swim every day, even after we visited the local beaches. It was easy to access the local highways and sightsee around town. Jeannine and Steve are extremely easy to communicate with and very friendly hosts.

Our family of four here for five nights and had a great time. The house was fully equipped and well stocked. We loved using the pool at the end of hot days and playing the piano. Great location close to attractions, grocery stores, etc., yet very private and quiet. The owners were great and very communicative. Definitely recommend!

This property was amazing. Its charm and privacy were superb. Hosts obviously thought of everything, from extra tissues and towels all the way to laundry detergent and even a sippy cup ( we didnt need this, but appreciate it as parents who once travelled with littles). We were so sad to leave, and would definitely stay with these hosts again.

We came to stay here when bringing the family to Universal Studios. Overall it was a great space for our family, especially the pool and bedrooms. They had everything we needed there for the most part, including a coffee maker and full kitchen. The pool was easily my children's favorite part! Their is only a few things people may want to know before staying. If you have small children, there are some breakable items displayed. Our younger kids were fine with this, we just needed to point it out and make sure they are mindful of those spaces. The front door handle needed the key to unlock every time. That was a bit stressful to make sure you had it with you before you head out to the car, but totally doable if you unlocked the side door by the pool. If you are a light sleeper, bring some earplugs to sleep in because it is in the flight path of many helecoptors and airplanes. Nothing we couldn't deal with, just a good thing to know. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Musicians Dream. The house is located close to Hollywood, The Getty, The Observatory, Rodeo Drive, Universal Studios, etc, yet it is on a quiet street with off-street parking. The house is very private, surrounded by lush greenery and a lovely swimming pool. We had breakfast on the deck each morning. The beds were very comfortable and everything was provided. We booked this particular house because our son loves playing piano and we enjoy listening to him play. The house did not disappoint. It was a nice surprise to find hundreds of copies of sheet music available. Jeannine was super nice and friendly in her communication and welcoming demeanor. Jeannine checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable at the home. We did not need a single thing! We would definitely come back and will recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in a safe and clean home in Los Angeles. Thank you Jeannine, you made our stay very special indeed.

We very much enjoyed our stay. Communication with the host before, during, and after (when we forgot something) was effective and timely. The property itself is as advertised - a charming retreat in the middle of the Universal/Hollywood scene.

Thanks to our hosts for a most comfortable long term stay in this charming home. Everything needed was readily available. From the cozy bedroom one steps out onto a deck and to a lovely backyard with ample seating in shade, sun and poolside. This vintage house is modernized with excellent video, audio & wifi technology. A distinctive accent was the refurbished, retro-designed gas stove. Last, but by no means least, the baby grand piano and extensive library of sheet music make this indeed a musician’s dream.

The property was everything advertised. The grand piano is beautiful and its sound is glorious. The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were a perfect fit for us. The pool is huge and the spreading avacado tree in the front yard is a California classic. We also appreciated the private off-street parking for our car. Great home away from home.

We had an amazing stay in this wonderful home! The pool was great and the yard was so pretty. It was like you were in your own little world. Great area and was close to all the attractions we had on our itinerary. I would definitely recommend!!

A huge pool, all for us! The home is clean, spacious, full of surprises like toys for the kids discovered in one closet and warm housecoats if needed discovered in another. And a backyard for the kids to play in with a strong fence between the yard and the pool. Everything they could think of to make us comfy was there. Not only is there a computer with internet. There is a printer! And tons of premium TV stations for us and for the kids. Extra blankets and lots of towels. The kitchen is fully loaded and the cupboards have some staples to welcome our arrival. This is our second stay in this wonderful place. We look forward to our third.

We found the hosts to be super accommodating, kind, flexible and helpful. The house itself is surrounded by gorgeous landscaping that feels like an oasis in the middle of LA. The house itself is very well situated within walking distance of a grocery store and some restaurants (try the BBQ place down the street!). Everything you need is available in the well stocked kitchen and the house was cozy but plenty roomy for our family of four. Master bath shower was divine with excellent water pressure! Pool was unheated and still cold in late April but our son swam anyway! Would definitely stay again.

This was the perfect spot for our family of 3. Our toddler loved the piano, the master bath was fun to play in, and we had everything we needed. The location is so convenient to LA adventures as well.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The house was comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. In warmer weather it would have been lovely to enjoy the pool and outdoor dining area. Unfortunately we were there in a rare rainy week. The house was conveniently located. There’s a grocery store just a block or two away and some restaurant options nearby. The neighborhood is lovely for walking. And it’s just minutes to the highway to easily get anywhere. We had a great stay!

Check in was a breeze, exactly what we expected. The place is clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms are very good size and very nice. Beds were perfect for me and everyone else in our group. Host is very easy to contact and reply’s to all messages in a very timely manner. I would absolutely recommend this place for your next stay and hope to possibly be back some day.

This house is perfect and exactly what we needed during our vacation in LA. It is an incredibly clean and comfortable house stocked with every amenity you can think of. Check in was easy and smooth and the property is beautiful. One of my favorite features of the house was the lovely, huge avocado tree out front! We hope to visit LA in the future and would love to stay in this house again!

So terrific in fact, that we have already booked a return trip. WOW. The pool, the place, the touches, the location - wonderful. I wasn't expecting California to be so cold at night, especially during a "heat wave", but no matter - they even had warm housecoats in various sizes, and tons of warm blankets and quilts and covers and towels galore and toys for our visiting grandbabies. It was simply great. 5 stars. Wish I could leave 10!

It is a charming house, well-designed, comfortable, and very well-stocked. The amenities provided by the hosts were excellent, from kitchen supplies to board games. The garden is lovely and has plenty of seating areas. We stayed in October when it was too cold to use the pool, but my husband swam in it anyway and enjoyed it. The piano in the living room was a great source of joy for my daughter, who relished the opportunity to practice while traveling. Owners are very responsive. The communication was pleasant, and Jeanine was very helpful and empathic when our flight was canceled, and we had to stay for an extra day.

My family and I enjoyed the relaxing stay. Excellent location for visiting Universal Studios. Also, a drive to Santa Monica didn’t take very long (of course it depends on traffic). The kitchen is equipped for family meals and the owners are kind. I loved sitting in the garden. The weather was a little cool so we didn't go into the pool. Great value for money!
