This is a nice cabin home in a great area. We had 20 minutes ride to everywhere we were going. The pond is lovely. Beds comfortable, well stocked home, bonus to have a washer/dryer and overall really good. There is a spiral staircase to the downstairs bedroom and living room. Super tight quarters on that staircase. Other than that, solidly good and easy to book and manage.

Very clean place. Well supplied. Was roomy as well. Nice fishing pond as well. I recommend it !

This was a nice camp on the pond. We had everything we needed. It was close to things to do. The air conditioning worked well during the 90 degree humid days. The deck with the patio set was very nice to enjoyed our morning coffee and afternoon beverages. We enjoyed the dock ramp and floating around the pond on floats.
One big annoyance while we stayed there...This is advertised as a quiet place. It is noted "this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected" It would be quiet if the neighbor’s children did not yell all day long. Their house is in very close proximity to this camp. They knew no other volume. One day, one of them rode up and down and up and down the street in front of the camp on a mini dirt bike until he finally crashed into the trees beside the camp. Then that noise was done for that day. The air conditioner did a decent job to drown them out if you were inside.
The camp itself was clean, but would have been nice if the bird droppings on the chairs on the lower patio were cleaned. The owner should really do something about the water in the camp. After a day, you find it really smelly. Yes, there is a faucet for drinking, but showering or just washing your face with it was terrible!
It was a nice place, but keep in mind the things we noted if you choose to stay there.

The house and pond are fantastic. What few issues that we had were handled so quickly that they were non-issues. Wish I could have convinced the boss to let me work from the rental.

Was in the area for Spring Break and this was a super cute little place. This was a great place to hang out and relax. I wish the weather would have been nicer so we could enjoy the yard and the pond.

Spacious cabin in a quiet neighborhood! The lake scenery was gorgeous with all the different color leaves. We would definitely stay again!

Cute cottage on a pond, other reviews that mention the tricky spiral staircase are spot on. We managed, but definitely wouldn't recommend for anyone elderly. A powder room (or even a full bath, there's room for it) would be a wonderful addition to the lower level. Neighbors are very close, but wasn't really an issue, if you're sitting on the patio or deck you don't see them.

Nice and quiet. About 25 minutes drive to Ogunquit where we enjoyed beach and walking around.

Lovely cottage with beautiful views of the lake. The only real drawbacks were the horrible smell of the water and there was only a single television with limited channels. All in all a wonderful cottage. It really is as pretty as the pictures We would definitely like to return.

We enjoyed this pond cottage. Perfectly located for us. Only enjoyed the pond from the porch 1 night but couldn’t beat the view of the water from the living room each morning. We will likely stay here again!

The pond was beautiful, and the cabin was very clean but the water was unacceptable, never mind that you never drink it the hideous smell is terrible

House is great. Lake and dock access was nice. What's a shame is the smell of the water inside house, although filtered, really need bottled water. Otherwise, loved it.

the property was fine, but I was surprised how close the neighbors were. This was hidden by careful planning of the photographs. The only interior issue was the spiral staircase and the only bathroom on the second floor. This staircase was diffficult/dangerous to navigate. With the possibility of 4 people staying on the first floor, I strongly suggest creating a half bathroom on the first floor.

At first we thought the tv being downstairs was a negative. That said we did not turn it on for the 4 days we were there. It was clean, bright and views of lake were what we wanted. Everything worked.
Only drawback I have is no measuring spoons or measuring cups. We solved that with a short hop to Ocean State for $4.
Didn’t fish or use the lake but our purpose was to unwind and vegetate which it worked fine for.

Nice for most
Overall pretty nice, just have to work with some of the downsides. We would stay here again but not with my elderly mother-in-law.

Lake house
The house was spotless beds were comfortable everything is where it needs to be except for a big chef's knife, also the diving platform wasn't in place in the lake. The fishing was wonderful got some small largemouth bass and a most beautiful trout catch and release of course. Thank you for the wonderful place to stay.

Enjoyable with caveats
The property was as pictured, but in a very cluttered neighborhood. The television was a floor below the living area with a very difficult tiny spiral staircase. Instead of using it, we exited the back door, climbed a staircase onto the deck and entered the street level kitchen. The bathroom and towels need updating. The water had a strong iron taste. We recommend bottled water. The property was spotlessly clean.

Serenity!
We had a great weekend trip, it was so peaceful. Only issue is the water smelled funny. The views are spectacular

Not worth the money too me
Absolutely need a canoe or kayak to enjoy the “lake”, it’s really a pond. The water smells like sulfur and it wasn’t cleaned to our liking. Location is fine if you want to spend a lot of time at house, but not if you want to spend a lot of time at the coastal areas.

Mixed review
Regarding the property itself, it was lovely. The home is much more spacious than I expected it to be. Fully stocked kitchen. All linens are there, plus extras. The bedrooms are very large. Yes, the water has a funny smell.
The biggest things that i wished I had known in advance were - 1, there is no floating dock. Not sure why it’s in the pictures. 2, there is no actual beach or sandy area. It’s all dense brush and small trees. Then there’s about a two foot wide opening where you can walk into the lake. Otherwise, you can walk out onto the dock and get into the water there. The water is quite shallow by the dock, so it’s easy to get in and out. The water is mucky there though, it’s not sand. So we entered the water by stepping onto our floats and heading out to deep water. Bring floats!! We had so much fun in the deeper part of the lake. My husband also fished and caught quite a few.
The neighbors are very close, but even still, the lake is so peaceful. Most of the time we were on the lake alone!
House stays cool with window a/c’s and fans.
Other than the beach/dock issues, our only real complaint is that we didn’t have hot water the first two days. I would have been fine to chalk this up to bad luck, had it been handled quickly and professionally by staff. I had to call four times to get assistance (they kept telling me a local agent would call back and one never did). When the local agent finally called she was very rude. The next day i received an apology and a hundred dollar refund offer.
My husband says that even still, he would stay again, and I tend to agree. The house and lake were a lot of fun!

We had a great vacation on the lake. The home was sparking clean and waiting for us. Check in instructions were clear and simple. We brought our own rafts and water toys for the lake and enjoyed the views. One thing is we wish they didn’t advertise the floating dock, we were looking forward to that. Other than that everything was expected. I actually fell in love with this home. It’s perfect. I’d recommend younger people and kids to take the downstairs bedroom and adults stay up stairs. We didn’t encounter and wildlife in the lake or property besides some cute ducks and squirrels. When we arrived the neighbors were outside and we all introduced ourselves. They didn’t bother us at all the entire time. They were quite pleasant. The water in the home was fine to shower and brush teeth, but bring bottled water to drink and cook with. I would definitely stay here again no questions asked.

Great weekend getaway
It was exactly what we were looking for. On a lake close to the beach.

Little Get a way
I brought 4 teenage boys ages 12-14 with me for a little get a way. The cottage is in a perfect location, close to the lake. There is a beautiful deck with table and chairs as well to sit and relax on. There is a fireplace as well with Adirondack chairs. The owners provided some floats too which was great to use in the lake. There was a dock that my kids fished off of. The kitchen is stocked well with a lot of extras like flour, sugar, tea, coffee and some Keurig coffees too. the coffeemaker is a Keurig. Also had tin foil, spices, plastic bags etc for the kitchen. the bathroom also had a lot of toilet paper which is rare for a vacation home. AC was upstairs, downstairs there were fans. The TV is downstairs as well which my kids loved. The laundry room has washer/dryer with laundry detergent pods as well. This was a great location so close to the lake, peaceful and quiet. Great little get a way! Very clean too. I will def go back again!

Cozy getaway!
We are from Kauai. HI and I am home visiting my mom (she's 91) and my whole family.
This home is very cute and charming in a quiet country setting on a large pond , what is there not to like? The 2 working fireplaces made it very romantic and the snow on the pond is So Beatiful!
I will come here every year !
Loved it!

Stunning location, simple accommodation.
Views and setting are amazing. Beds comfortable. Kitchen dark and lacks decent knives but adequate in other respects. Living areas have minimal furnishing.
The owners tax was off-putting and reduced any sense of value for money.

Not as secluded as advertised.
There was cob webs, spider webs and spiders in most all the corners and door ways. The kitchen counters were sticky when we arrived. The bathroom cabinet drawers were falling apart.

Good for older couples
We stayed there over Father’s Day weekend and it was fun! The water softening system maybe needs to be looked at, all the water smelled like sulfur. In the bathroom gnats flew out of the shower drain every night. Other than that it was perfect. The view was incredible!!!

Great lake house
The lake house is in a beautiful location and the photographs on the website are very accurate. The lake and surrounds are beautiful and it is very handily located for travelling around southern Maine and northern New Hampshire. The 2 bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The deck is gorgeous and has a fabulous view over the lake, as does the jetty down in the lake which we sat on quite bit. Overall we had a fantastic 2 weeks there and it's very much as it says on the tin.
Fairly minor niggles - the kitchen is a little underspecified if you want to do any real cooking, for example no measuring jug and just a couple of medium size saucepans, but if it's just snacks and basic cooking you'll be fine.
Although the house sleeps 4 very comfortably, there isn't space for 4 people to lounge around, 2 and 1 seater chairs upstairs and a 3 seater downstairs which is a shame.
The dining area is sufficient but the table and benches aren't massively comfortable and are more like a (UK) picnic table.
Again, with 4 people there only one bathroom is a bit of a pain, especially in the morning when everyone is trying to shower. There is room on the lower floor for a toilet to be put in. We were only given one number for the lockboxes with the keys in but actually the each have different numbers. Make sure you check with the agents before you go as in an emergency you'd struggle.
To summarise, a lovely place with amazing views.

Beautiful Inside and Out
Situated on a picturesque pond, and tastefully but minimalistically decorated.

Beautiful spot
Very clean and cozy cottage with a beautiful view in a nice area. Be aware that though there is WiFi, TV was limited to a few stations received by antenna with spotty reception. This may be a problem for some folks.

Family Retreat
We loved that everything was there and we didn't have to bring dishes, linens ,towels. It was on a great little pond with an outdoor fire pit. It was clean and comfortable however someone before us were smokers, there were cigarette butts where we parked and by the side of the house next to the deck, my niece cleaned them up so we wouldn't be charged extra as it is a nonsmoking facility. We were 5 adults so we had 2 vehicles and it was plenty of parking. We weren't there a lot during the day but at night it was a nice quiet place . My whole family enjoyed it. Great little vacation off the beaten path. Thank you for your hospitality

Beautiful lake setting!
We were a family of 4 with 2 friends staying together and had plenty of sleeping and shared space. Nice living rooms upstairs and down. Right on the lake. Stairs a bit tight to get down and an extra bathroom would be nice, but still really enjoyed our stay!
