The Edelweiss complex is in the main village of Big Mountain Ski Resort and very conveniently located to the slopes and provides free parking. In the village you will find several ski and board shops offering ski gear and equipment rentals. There are several restaurants within walking distance, or the Whitefish Mountain Resort shuttle can provide transportation to anywhere within the resort area. The free S.N.O.W bus shuttle provides transportation to the town of Whitefish where there are many great pubs, restaurants, and shopping venues to be enjoyed.
Big Mountain provides access to 3000 acres of the most beautiful and varied skiing terrain imaginable. The resort's close proximity to Glacier National Park, Whitefish Lake, Flathead Lake, many different state parks and hiking trails, along with mountain biking on and off of the mountain make the resort a true four-season destination with the Edelweiss being a quiet and peaceful alternative during the summer months. This unit does not have air conditioning like many others in Whitefish. It has traditionally not been required; however recent past years have given rise to some hot days in the Whitefish area. We now provide multiple fans should the need arise.
In summary, we feel that you will find our Edelweiss home away from home to be very comfortable and convenient in every way. The Edelweiss complex does have a hot Tub, but unfortunately it is under renovation until further notification.

This was the perfect ski in ski out for our family of 4! Close to lift #2 & #3, clean, reasonably priced and great to work with. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great location, great condo. Proximity to lifts, restaurants and rentals all perfect. Disappointed there was no hot tub as described, but did not affect our overall experience. Thank you for sharing your property.

What a great condo with easy access to many trails in and around the Whitefish area. The home was set up perfectly for our needs with all a person(s) would need. Very organized with pics of how to replace the dishes and directions to get anything you need.
We utilized the Whitefish Trail system, the Flathead Lake area and checked out Big Fork, all using the condo as our home base. After 5 days at the condo, we went closer to Glacier for some glamping which was also great but we were shocked at how close Whitefish is to Glacier NP. We found a lot of people use Whitefish as their base to get into Glacier NP as it's only about 30 minutes away?
All in all, it's a fabulous place to visit and this unit won't disappoint you!

Comfortable and great location
We stayed here in summer. 1st floor and proximity to the lift was very convenient. Kitchen was well equipped. No AC but the fans were sufficient for a comfortable summer night sleep

Ski Trip Stay
The condo was well-equipped and well-organized. The bathroom heater was a real plus on cold days! It's a great ski-in, ski-out location. We enjoyed not having to carry luggage and groceries up multiple flights of stairs. The hosts have done a terrific job of making it easy for guests to settle in to the condo.

Gateway to Glacier
The unit was well stocked with cooking gear and some staples. It was clean and comfortable. Access required closely following directions but thereafter was a snap. Our only snafu was the wifi which continually dropped our devices and sometimes required a password reentry to restore. As most of our time was spent outside, this was a morning and evening annoyance.
The unit was located in the whitefish mountain ski resort. As it was the end of the summer season, the resort was quiet and not many businesses were open. However, just down the mountain were some of the best restaurants in Whitefish where we enjoyed some of the best meals of our trip: The Last Chair, Wich Haus, Jalisco Cantina and Bonzai Brewing were all located within a few miles of the unit.
FYI, it took about 45 minutes to reach Glacier National Park on roads that were never crowded.
The owners were responsive and helpful, I really appreciate there quick communication and the departure reminders.

Property was very clean and had everything you needed. Be aware there is a 10 am checkout and they will not extend this time.

Awesome stay for our time in Glacier National Park!
The pictures don’t do this condo justice! It’s absolutely charming and has everything you need. We loved our stay here. Incredibly spacious and comfortable for a group of 3 friends. We loved all of the Montana themed touches. Communication with hosts was great. Whitefish is an adorable town. Would absolutely stay again!!

Whitefish Getaway
Skip and Pat’s place is a perfect location for summer and winter activities. The place is very clean with comfortable bed, well-stocked kitchen and a small outside patio ideal for relaxation (we didn’t get to sit outside since we always got back late at night). Overall the place is as described. Will definitely come back in the wintertime for skiing.

Whitefish Condo
We were unable to access our rental due to the key not being in the lock box. It was about 8:30 PM and tried all 4 phone numbers on our check in documents. None worked or were the wrong number. We were forced to find another place to stay late in the night in an area without available accommodations. It was not until the next day that the owner reached out to us, as they live in West Virginia. We paid about the same price per night for a small, smelly hotel room in what seems to be employee housing.
The Owner was apologetic and helped us get into our condo, but I was late to my conference by then. The owner did credit us 2 nights stay, one being the night we did not stay in the condo. Although this conference visit at a destination area started out badly, we were able to stay in the condo the rest of our stay and it was MUCH better than the hotel room we were able to find the first night.
The owner said he would try to find a better way to make sure a key is available for renters, and I let him know he needed to review the 4 phone numbers he has listed as they were not correct. I recommend trying his phone number before traveling to this condo to make sure you can reach them in the event you are stuck outside at night in northern Montana.

Glacier National Park
My wife and I stayed here as homebase for our trip to Glacier National Park. We loved the unit, the property and the location. The unit was very clean with an awesome view from the covered patio. The Montana sky was very nice from the top of the Mountain. We were still close enough to downtown Whitefish and the entrance to GNP.

Excellent Host
The Whitefish Mountain Area is beautiful, and the home is beautiful, with excellent views of the mountains right from the doorstep. The home is a fantastic launch spot for skiing mtn biking, hiking, and lake time.
Do note that while the host/owner is incredibly responsive and kind, his hands are a bit tied by the facility management group that the condo sits in. The wifi was out for the duration of my stay, and the facility group was very slow and ineffective at restoring it.

OUTSTANDING STAY!
We had an amazing stay during our summer family vacation in Whitefish Mountain!!
The property was VERY CLEAN, well furnished and we had plenty of room for our family of four, not to mention the GREAT views from the patio. My wife and I enjoyed our coffee every morning in the cool and amazing high 40’s weather and our 11 and 17 y/o had a blast in the mountain resort next door!!
We can’t wait to go back!!

Mountain getaway
Wonderful stay and wonderful experience, especially with our two kids. There was so much to enjoy literally a short walk from the condo. My kids LOVED the alpine slide and trips up the lift. Next time we want to try the ziplines and ropes course. We could not have asked for a more beautiful and refreshing stay with everything we needed in walking distance then an easy drive to town for swimming in the lake or more restaurant selection. Many thanks to Skip and Pat for the lovely conditions of the condo, clean and nicely furnished. We hope to come back!

Under the Big Sky Festival
We had a great time and the resort was also fantastic. The condo could have used a grill. Also it was way too hot in the condo, the thermostat needs to be set lower. The key didn't work for the spa so we couldn't use the hot tub which was abuuner because we were looking forward to it. But all in all it was a great location, love the ground floor condo and it was super clean, looked way better in person than the pics. We definitely would stay here again and reccomend it to anybody. Thanks Pat and Skip for a wonderful stay!

Great place and great stay!
We were very pleased with the unit. It was very clean and well stocked. The property was located near town and in a great mountain area with plenty to do. The mountain was beautiful while we were there (summertime). This was so much better than staying in a cramped hotel room..... we had plenty of space and all the amenities we needed. We would recommend Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort to everyone and would go back there in a second! Great place in a great place!

Great little condo. Clean, fully sprinklered, smoke alarms worked. Easy check in and check out. Kitchen was fully equipped so we could eat it. The washer and dryer are not in the unit but are close by.
