Hotel property was nice but needs management upgrades and updates. Things seemed to be frequently out of order and the staff was not very well trained. The hotel was Smokey inside and our King Suite overlooked a loud generator outside. Could be amazing with ownership improvements.

Room was fabulous however we were situated next to the pool and the mechanical room was a little loud

Visited during shoulder season had pros of being less busy and crowded but seemed like a lot of new staff were getting trained and they had minor service issues. Generous room sizes, good location, small spa. Overall, a good stay.

Great place to stay, close to Whitefish, convenient location to use as a base for Glacier national park as well (about 40 min drive). We stayed in Viking lodge and boys enjoyed the heated pool and we really liked that they had laundry facility (coin-operated) we could use on the premises in adjacent building so we didn’t have to pack as much. Already planning our trip back and definitely going to stay at Lodge again!

Gorgeous view and comfortable condo. Close to downtown via quick Uber ride

We stayed in the condos. New construction, quiet and clean. Luxury beds with all the convienience of home. I was disappointed with the view because the trees block what would be a million dollar view, but if you didnt have the trees the condos would likely be very hot in the summer. I really like this property and will come again.

Beautiful clean and safe! The staff were all exceptionally helpful. We stayed in one of the 3 bedroom condos and had a fantastic view of the lake and marina

I loved the location and resort amenities. Service levels were excellent. Whilst the bedrooms are well appointed, they did look like they need a bit of a facelift. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Condo #219 - One of the best rentals we've stayed. The Lake, the sky, the serenity. The staff was incredible. This all came to an end when people checked into #319 at 2:00ish in the morning. Sounded like someone was remodeling or a knock down drag out fight. It lasted over an hour and started again in the morning. Perhaps they were large people just getting around. but I don't think so.

Great venue to visit Whitefiah and the surrounding area. A bit off the main drag, but not a problem. Beautiful property, large comfortable rooms and good service

I’ve been coming to the whitefish lake Lodge for years now and it is one of my all-time favorite places to stay. It’s a beautiful location. Staff is exceptional and everything about it is just wonderful. I look forward to my annual getaway here every year and can’t wait to come back!

The Lodge was the perfect location for our recent visit. Quick 25 minute easy ride to Glacier, good local food nearby, and beautiful views of the lake, and mountains. Serene time of the year.

The bathroom sink was clogged, the shower door didn't close all the way and the TV was quite small. The coffee barista was delightful!

We didn’t have maid service for three days out of six. We had to call to request towels. The Viking lodge community areas were dirty.

Condo was clean but tired and dated. Carpet needs to be updated.

I would choose not to stay here bc it is a bait switch. Got a good rate but can't have a view room. Had to stay across the street in another complex away from main lodge and lake. Front desk would not accommodate. Unless I paid 100.00 more for the stay.

Normally we love the lodge and have been staying here for years. This time was very disappointing. I have lots of comments but they won’t all fit in this text box. Would love to share with you our concerns. For what we paid for this hotel we aren’t satisfied. We have safety concerns and overall we were not happy with our stay.

The restaurant was closed. I did get notification so I wasn’t surprised but they had a room service menu and they shouldn’t have bothered. I ordered a salad that wasn’t edible. When I mentioned it at checkout there was no offer to refund my purchase which was very disappointing. They also didn’t bother to try and give me a nice room even though they obviously didn’t have many guests. I was across the street from the river in a room with no view. If they would have made an effort to upgrade under the circumstances it would have gone a long way.

Door locks don't work! Bad

We’ve stayed at the Lodge many times, but unfortunately this wasn’t our best experience.
We stayed in condo 120, and the shower was good for about one hot shower and the internet was out for our stay. Unfortunately, our unit didn’t have any in-unit laundry either which we thought was strange for a condo so we had to use the common laundry area which was a walk.
Overall, the property looked to have some challenges including the Boat Club restaurant which had long wait times for food and spotty service.
The outdoor hot tub rarely had towels, so that was a venture as well to get some brought out.
Overall, they can do better and have in the past from my experience.

Tim was so helpful.

Spectacular lakeside setting, love the hot tub and sauna facilities. Charming property with a great on-site restaurant.
This was our second stay here and it’s still one of my favourite places.
However, a couple of minor issues:
- some staff were great and helpful, some were indifferent. Feels like they need more training in customer service.
- rooms in the Main Lodge starting to feel a little bit worn, would be great to see some renewal soon (new carpet, new toilet suite)
