First - we are from a small town, so coming to a large city was a bit of an adjustment.
That being said, the neighborhood was ok - I didn't feel totally safe at night or parking my car in an off lot that basically did not feel secure. We ended our stay after one night. We woke up in the morning to hundreds of ants in the kitchen and bedroom. The wifi did not connect during our one day/night. It kept spinning after several attempts to log in with the information provided. The AC units also did not adequately cool the apartment (they were all set to high - we double checked several times).
The owner was very good about communication. Also gave us a 50% refund on the stay after checking out (we had planned to stay 4 nights). Also gave a refund on the unused parking.
If you decide to stay here it is a small apartment - but nice. It has modern appliances, paint, TV, etc. The directions to get into the apartment were easy to follow. There are also directions on how to use the bus lines to get into NYC.
I will say, being from a small town, the bus directions were not easy to follow for us. We are not used to large city bus lines. Getting back to NJ from NYC was a bit of a hassle - and honestly, at times, very nerve racking.
The owner, however, was very understanding and gave us no issues on leaving early. That was much appreciated.

My two daughters and I stayed here for 3 nights right after new years. We wanted to see the sights in NYC, but I hadn’t been there for over 20 years and was really nervous about driving and parking. This property was perfect for us. Convenient parking right next to the apartment, and a bus that takes you to Port Authority (near Times Square) that dropped off and picked up right across from the building. Claudia left detailed instructions about how to use public transportation which I was very thankful for! We are also the kind of travelers who like to eat some of our meals at home, the grocery store 2 blocks away made that easy for us.
The apartment was small, but very cute and extremely clean. The neighborhood felt safe, lots of things with in walking distance (although we spent most of our time in Manhattan). After 20 years, I’m so glad I was able to get back to NYC, but 2 and a half days wasn’t enough time. Hopefully I can go back soon, and I will definitely consider staying at this property again!

We stayed the week between Christmas and New Year. The host provided great tips on getting to NYC and what was available nearby. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It was nice to have the large sofa bed which was much more comfortable than most sofa beds.

This apartment was a fantastic find for a quick trip to New York. We didn't cook, so not sure about the cookware present, but did notice there were plenty of utensils, cups and plates. The apartment was small, as is expected in the NYC area, but there were two closets and plenty of room for our items for a two night stay.
The area was great, with a few deli-type restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. We really enjoyed Bagel Co., just a few blocks away, on our way out of town.
The apartment itself was super clean, had 6 bath towels and comfortable, good quality bedding.
Claudia gave us plenty of info before arriving, which made parking and check-in a breeze, and she had additional information about the area and public transit in the apartment itself. I would definitely stay book a stay at one of Claudia's properties again if we are in the area.

I'll came back

Apartment met our expectations. A little bit small for a family of 6 (4 adults and 2 toddlers) but to be honest, we just wanted the apartment to sleep as we were outside most of the time.
Communication with the host was great and instructions were clear.
Good location, close to Manhattan.
In general we appreciated the apartment.
Thank you Claudia!

Nice clean unit on the ground floor. Transit right outside the door to go to NYC. Easy to travel to MetLife, Yankee Stadium and NYC. We felt safe walking around the area.
The only thing missing that would be handy in the appt is a mirror in one of the bedrooms or behind the door in the bathroom to help with getting ready.
Also, I don’t know if the unit above is a rental or not but OMG they were so loud with footsteps etc the place shook. The noise was when we had went to bed every night.

If you're visiting the city in Jersey/New York area, this is a great place to retreat to in the evenings for a place to feel like your own. Quiet and friendly neighborhood with a great host!

Property looks fairly recently renovated. Good shape. Clean. Wifi is very spotty but we made it work. Check in instructions were very precise. Parking was a little bit tight and kinda a hazard having to jump a curb. Beds were comfy. Shower was nice. Good amount of things in walking distance for breakfast and such. Short drive to NYC and tons of other shopping.

The apartment was a clean and comfortable place to stay while on vacation to NYC and it was a convenient 20 minute bus ride into the city. Claudia was very accommodating and responded promptly to messages. Would definitely recommend staying here

Stayed 3 nights. Location is great with several restaurant's within walking distance as well as a grocery store within a couple of blocks. Will definitely stay here again.

The appartment was nice and spacious enough for the 5 of us. The AC was a bit noisy and the pavement a bit sticky (not fully clean ?) but overall very good.
The bus stop is very close but with trafic it can take up to 30-40min to get to Port Authority bus station in NY. Also there is sometimes only one bus every hour and the service stops before 1am so this is a significant limitation to enjoy the city. Next time we would rent in Manhattan even is the cost is significantly higher for something similar.

A few days after coming back from overseas. Was a nice visit. Not many places to eat around but nade it work.

I have nothing bad to say about this property. It was one of the cleanest properties I’ve stayed at. Looked exactly like the listing. I traveled with my son who wanted to see New York and it was perfect because you could catch a bus a short walk down the street and it was a quick ride there. Claudia was very quick to answer questions and very helpful. I will definitely stay here again in the future.

Had a great stay in this little flat near NYC.
It's a 20 minutes ride to Midtown with the Bus from the flat and it's a good starting point for your city trip. We cooked ourselves and there is a supermarket nearby. Good possibility to save money as the food in NY tends to be on the expensive side. It was really nice to have two bedrooms. Some things in the apartment are maybe a little worn but it still has a nice design and feels very cozy. We also had everything we needed. And one very important thing: it was really, really clean. Thanks to Claudia for a nice stay!

Upon entering the home the pictures made the unit look much larger than actuality. We were unable to connect the TV to wifi to use the tv the entire weekend and didn’t hear back about it until late night before check out. The pillows were bulky, stiff, and uncomfortable, and the toilet clogged from urine only. There was a sign that warned about sensitive plumbing but then we were told there was no handyman available on weekends. The apartment got extremely hot at night and the ACs helped mildly.

The place is very clear and nice. My family had a great time and definitely I will rent again.

We had a great time at the apartment. Everything was superbly clean and comfortable. I highly recommend booking this apartment! Getting to/from NYC was quick and easy. I will be booking this apartment again the next time I visit NYC.

The apartment is located in New Jersey, just across Manhattan. The bus which drops you close to Times Square can be taken from a station across the apt and it takes approx. 20 min to get to NYC. Very convenient from this point of view!
The apt is small, but very clean and it has all the basic amenities. I would personally have preferred more consumable items since we were a family staying for 1 week, and it goes a long way to leave such things for your guests.
The AC is noisy and the apt could be better noise-insulated,but we had earplugs so it was not a big issue anyway. There is a big supermarket nearby with quite good food and that was also very convenient.
Claudia is super nice and helpful and all the instructions she gave were very clear. She really is an awesome host and one of the restaurants she recommended was truly great!

Claudia is super great, and this was a super clean place, but the upstairs people are loud ( she was nice enough to leave earplugs on the nightstands), and unless you drive, it's hard to get rides back and forth, and very expensive. Depends on the time of day, but it's tough to go from Time Square to the Verbo and one trip one way cost me $57.00

Pulling up I was a little discouraged by the outside. The building looked old and I was wondering what did I rent. Walking into the building was cLean and smelled fresh.
The apt was super nice and cleaned. The linen and towels smelled so fresh.
My only cons about this place is there is only 1 tv. If you were coming with teens or another couple you all would be sharing TV’s. With all the fees you pay for staying here I just wasn’t expecting to be charge $30 parking for 2 days. Also I couldn’t get the oven to work but I made do with the stove top. Everything was beautiful inside. The decor and everything you need for the kitchen.

Clean and convinient. Just in front of a bus stop to Port Authority bus terminus downtown NYC. Would recommand.

The property is located in an easy to access area a few minutes drive from the Lincoln Tunnel. We were able to be in the City within 20 minutes when we took an uber to Central Park on a Sunday from the apartment.
The apartment was clean and comfortable, especially the queen beds located in each bedroom. It was particularly hot during our stay and we were grateful for the AC units in each room which kept the apartment very comfortable.
Thank you to Claudia for an excellent stay!

Claudia had great communication. The apartment was a 20 min bus ride into Manhattan, that costs $3.50 per person. Apartment itself was clean, updated, we'll equipped and cozy. We wouldn't hesitate to book with Claudia again if we come back to visit the Big Apple.

Stayed here and took the bus into NYC. We enjoyed the neighborhood stores and restaurants. We also took the bus right across the street from our rental unit to NYC. Rental unit was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. Would stay here again.

This was a comfortable and relaxing base for our vacation to NY. We made use both of buses and Lyft for transportation, and both were easy to use from this location. Restaurants, such as our favorite, Chofi Barría, we’re within easy walking distance. We would definitely stay here again during future visits to NY.
