Fresh from a remodel, this three-bedroom Fort Bragg vacation rental has a bonfire pit (availability dependent on fire risk) and space for six guests! You'll hear the sounds of the ocean and have a peek at the rugged coast.
The location is fantastic: Fort Bragg is the gateway to the California Coastal National Monument, meaning you'll explore sand dunes, go whale watching, and collect sea shells along the untouched coastline. MacKerricher State Park and Lake Cleone are within walking distance of this cozy abode, and antique shopping, fine dining, and family fun centers are just a seven minute drive away making it the perfect location for your next family vacation!
The 1,700 square-foot home is bright and cheery offering an open-concept living room with a sofa and dining table for six. Bring your favorite DVDs or catch the latest flick on cable. Family board games, an Xbox, and a game room with a Ping-Pong table mean you'll never get cabin fever, and wireless Internet access allows you to stay plugged in when needed!
A full, well-stocked kitchen and oversized island makes it easy to prepare meals for a large group. There are three bedrooms and two full baths in this single-level home: the master bedroom has a king bed, flat-screen TV, and work desk, a second has a queen, and an additional bedroom has two twin-sized beds for little guests. There's even an inflatable queen air mattress to accommodate extra travelers.
Outside, you'll count shooting stars around the ornate iron bonfire pit, lounge in Adirondack patio furniture, or serve up a mean game of badminton. And with handicap and elder access, and private washer and dryers, this home is the perfect getaway for long days at the beach, and cozy late nights in good company.
For a day out and about, visit Mendocino Botanical Gardens, watch the seals at MacKerricher State Park or make the trip into town for fine sea food, and quaint antique shops.
This cheery Fort Bragg vacation rental is the perfect place to kick off your shoes, wiggle your toes in the sand, and enjoy the California coast in your home away from home!

Great location. Wake up to deer nibbling in the front yard. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Plenty of indoor and outdoor entertainment if you decide to stay in after being out all day. We spent 2.5 hours playing ping-pong

We loved the redwood trees in the private space of the backyard, and the quiet neighborhood. The house is generously stocked with everything needed for a pleasant stay.
4.6
Having all the games, puzzles and toys stored where they are was not what we wanted to look at in the living room. Put that stuff in the game room garage. Some instructions for the TV would have been great as we spent most of the time trying to figure out how to watch it! Same for the fire pit! Front door lock needs some directions also. Perhaps, a deep cleaning is due.

Great place for family staycation

Wonderful accommodations. Exactly as described. Charges were reasonable compared to many other VRBO houses rented in the past. We will certain rent this house in the future.

Charming house, very clean and just as advertised.

This house was beautiful! We loved the kitchen tiles and the open area. The rooms were very comfortable. The yard with the fire pits was another plus. We saw a family of deer in the mornings out front. We would love to stay here again.

We had a great thanksgiving in this home. We are building so many great memories with our kiddos here! If you’re looking for a humble home that has the necessities and a nice big yard this is it!

I love cleone. This was a perfect home for my lifelong friend and myself and our boys. Beds were comfortable house was good. Just a little disappointed the fire pit out back didnt work. Lived being able to hear the ocean waves at night. Will definitely be back!

Spacious, kitchen and living room has lots of room
Kitchen is fully equipped to cook meals. Has grill out in yard to bbq. Fire Pitt. Master bedroom has own bathroom. Garage has games. My only criticism is that I could not make tv work. The roku Tv control would not work. It only worked to turn the tv an volume but could not do anything else. Checkout time- I feel it should be at 11. 10 since a little early. Other than that house is clean/spacious/quite/3 min from beach.

Had a lovely stay. Couple of things to note for
you:
Hall bathroom sink does not drain well
Duvet cover in Queen bedroom has a stain on it
Propane tank that is currently on the bbq does not work well
You might want to change hummingbird feeders. They look pretty old and can actually make birds sick.
Window jams are a little dirty.
Thank you!

This is a wonderful place to stay if you want some peace and quiet after a long day playing. House was very clean when we arrived. We didn’t have kids with us but lots of things for them to do if you have kids. Ping pong, darts, games. Fire pit in the backyard for a nice evening outside. Short drive into Fort Bragg and right across the street from MacKerricher State Park. Easily enough room for a family of six. Also very good communication with the property management company.

It was a great stay at this house. Our group of 6 mature adults stayed and slept here comfortably. Able to cook our food. Well supplies in the kitchen. No issues but just enjoyed our stay and our bonding.

Water wasnt working when we got there. A lot of the outlets didn't work. Door was hard to lock.

We had a two day stay at this home for part of our four day total vacation. Overall we liked it. But we had a major issue that will keep me from booking this home again.
PROS: the ping-pong table was a HIT with the family. The location was ideal; it was quiet and literally across the street from MacKerricher which we frequent a lot on our trips to the coast. The fire pit and seating were great! We loved the sand toys. The mattresses were comfortable as were the pillows.
CONS: the place needs a good cleaning. It’s a bit outdated which we didn’t mind, but both showers were tiny, especially for our tall, large men in the family. The main bed was creaky and felt like it’s break under our weight any moment. There’s only one remote for the two televisions, and the internet instructions provided did not connect us to the wifi at all. There was no cable television as most of the channels had a message stating the Xfinity equipment needed to be upgraded and it had been mailed to the owner to replace. Most of the dishes were grossly dirty; by that I mean old food stuck on forks and spoons, in pans, etc. we had to wash every dish we used BEFORE we could use them. The shower curtain in the main bedroom’s bathroom has orange mold on it. The pillow on the main bedroom had a stain resembling someone else’s bodily fluid on it (I’m hoping so much it was drool and nothing else). The garage door to the home locks from the outside which was strange and uncomfortable. We didn’t feel very safe not being able to lock it, especially when we noticed the garage door to pull cars in was disengaged and could be pulled up by hand from anyone. Anyone could have accessed the home from the garage. We had no way of locking access to the home. The worst part was when we came back less than 15 minutes after checkout because my husband forgot some belongings. We cleaner was already there and in the main bedroom where we had slept, and we noticed she was using the same sheets we just slept in for two days. No washing them. No changing the bedding at all. THE. SAME. SHEETS. WE PUT BACK ON. I was completely disgusted and couldn’t wait to get to our next destination to shower. Now I know why the pillowcase had a stain of someone else’s fluids on it. The cleaners don’t really do a whole lot of cleaning. But to sleep in the same sheets as strangers before me. My goodness.
That issue also me will prevent me from renting again. Otherwise we would have because we liked it a lot. The cleanliness was the worst and for the amount we paid, especially in cleaning fees, I expected so much more. Even the cheapest of hotels cleans their bedding.
The home was decent! The issues mostly really lie with the cleaning. And for that we were disappointed and disgusted.

Very nice older three bed two bath. Fire pit was nice.

This was our first time to spend a week in Fort Bragg. Our go-to vacation destination is usually Newport, Or , but we had limited travel time before the grandkids headed back to school. Park View checked all the boxes for us: clean, roomy, close to pretty much everything on our to do list and games, etc to occupy the kids. We didn’t take advantage of the fire pit so we’ll have to do it next time. Other reviewers didn’t much like the “dated” decor of the house but that’s not high on our priority list! We had a great time in Fort Bragg canoeing on Big River, exploring the various state parks and beautiful beaches, hanging out at the railroad museum and walking around Mendocino. The guys even packed in a half day fishing trip! We’ll be back to Fort Bragg and hope to book Park View again!

This is the second time we visited, and we once again enjoyed the great location near the beach and comfortable house. We would visit again.

I canceled the reservation 8 days prior due to my and my husband’s Covid-19 positive illness. No one cancelled the reservation properly despite consistent communication on my part. I kept receiving emails and text messages to my cell phone. The insurance I paid will not refund our monies even though I submitted all documentation. I will call the Better Business Bureau to report this poor communication and lack of interfacing of VRBO & VACASA. One word terrible experience especially since we were doing the right thing.

This home was perfect for our family of 6. We have 4 little ones and can only stand being at the beach for so long. It was so nice to come back to a house with an abundance of games to keep everybody entertained all day. The beds were very comfy and the kitchen was completely equipped with everything needed to make a meal.
We will definitely come back. Thank you for making our family vacation fun, relaxing and unforgettable!!!!

Our family of four loved our stay here. The house was very clean and spacious for two adults and two kids. Even a family of six would have plenty of room. The ping pong table in the garage and fire pit out back were both hits with our boys of (ages 7 and 11). You can see ocean from front porch and it's a 2-minute drive into McKerricher State Park. Downtown Ft. Bragg is approx. 5 minutes away. The place is clean and everything worked well. We left quite happy.

Great location!
Perfect for the family.

peaceful setting, but close enough to town, at night we could see so many stars, and during the day a view of the ocean, Drove to Redwood, avenue of the Giants, and enjoyed the beach nearby.

This home itself was OK. It looked like it had not been remodeled since the late 80s/early 90s so it was a bit dated. Definitely, not an exciting rental "experience".
There are bunch of little annoyances that I couldn't overlook at the relative high price it was rented out at.
The kitchen was the biggest let down to me. An odd assortment of broken equipment (see list below) and missing expected items like cooking oil, plastic wrap/aluminum foil (we left these behind for next renters). Also, there's a large amount of pan lids without the matching pans!
The following items were non-functional:
Coffee machine (a huge morning disappointment!)
Blender (the spinning rod doesn't make contact with jar)
DVD player (read errors on all discs)
The ping pong table (with a total of 3 dinged balls) provided some limited play.
