La atención de la infitriona de casa,todo muy limpio,organizado a pesar de que todavia se encuentra en construcción algunas cosas,el espacio para la comida en la nevera,la cocina completa,la ubicación super buena porque ahí mismo pasa el bus y cerca a la playa...

Relax

En relación al precio la habitación cumple totalmente las expectativas. Mafer y sus hijos siempre pendientes. Hay micro y refrigeradora para guardar cosas si lo necesitas. Hay servicio de lavado de ropa. Vamos a volver de ley :)

Mmm en la segunda habitación el seguro de la puerta del baño no servía, pero nada que no se pueda solucionar.

Excelente alojamiento para disfrutar de unas cómodas vacaciones.

¡Excelente ubicación! Cerca al transporte, a los restaurantes, a farmacias, supermercados y lo más importante, cerca de la playa. Sin embargo, lejos del ruido y agite del pueblo lo que permite descansar muy tranquilo. Lo recomiendo.

Fairly good position, it has free drinking water and hot showers, the staff was helpful and it was the cheapest place in Montañita.

The cleaning standards need to improve, we could check the mattress properly because covered but I wouldn't be surprised if there were bugs. The cleaning of the room was never offered, there were not enough bins, just one in the toilet and a small one in the kitchen that attracts many many ants. Also nowhere to hung your towels or clothes in the toilet or room. We accepted that we were staying because of our budget but if you can afford it i will choose something else.

Superb

The staff go over and above here, very helpful in booking a tour to Isla de la Plata and making sure I got there safely. The room was clean and comfortable, with aircon. The kitchen is small but had what we needed. The location is very close to the centre but not too close to the party hostels and bars, so ideal for a quieter stay.

Best place to stay in Montanita if you are looking for a quiet accomodation

Great place to stay in Montanita, very quiet but just a few minutes walking from the restaurants, store, and beach. The owner gave us good advices about the things to do and was very friendly. We extended our stay to a week because we were feeling great ! the kitchen is small but it was sufficient for us to cook everything we wanted.

The hostal is right on the main road with a lot of trafic during the day. We couldn't really enfoy the common area upstair because of the noise. It's too bad because it's lovely !

Wonderful host, great location and good value for money

Mafer was an amazing host, so welcoming and helpful. I had a room without AC at first and had some trouble with the heat, so Mafer got me an extra fan, then moved me to another room with AC the next day. I also had a nasty bite on my toe which rendered me pretty helpless with walking and she went out of her way to help me to the pharmacy, offered to bring me some food and generally took care of me! The location is on the main road, 5 minutes from the bus station and 5 minutes from the beach. The wifi worked perfectly. The room(s) were big enough with decent bathrooms and showers. The place was clean and the terrace upstairs is a great area to relax in the hammock and watch the world go by.

Even if nobody spoke english, owner tryied to be very helpfull, I appreciate it. My first impression was not great, in Tena or Banos I could have better for lower price. That changed when I had a chance to see some other hostels in Montanita. This one is still one of better. Montanita is not Banos. Because I stayed 5 nights, there was a nice surprice, my price included a tour to Salango island, it was realy nice.

Many small things vere always missing, refilled everytime I asked for, but it was often something and I did not have a mood to ask all the time. It is a small thing. What I really dislike was a noise. Is not fair to judge a single hostel in Noisy Hell of Montanita, nobody can escape, nowhere. There are some really noisy discotheques in close vicinity, hard to sleep. If you want to sleep in Montanita, your only chance is a Punta - there is a disco only until 10pm. All other places you hear disco nonstop all night.

Excellent and very relaxing accommodation in Montanita :)

This was a fantastic hostel run by a lovely family that made me feel very welcome indeed. The room was large, clean and comfortable, and the whole property is very relaxing with great communal areas. Only a very short walk to the centre of Montanita, but far enough to feel peaceful and relaxed . Would highly recommend this place :)

The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hostel is located on the main highway through town and is a lot of road noise. The location of the hostel is also right behind the football field with creates a lot of noise. The bed was supplied with no top blankets and was not very clean. There was no handle on the bathroom door in the room and the door did not close properly.

I stayed here for four nights and loved the privacy of having my own room. i absolutely 100% recommended these accommodations to anyone who wants there own room to sleep. the entire neighborhood is full with absolutely friendly people. I loved this town I never once felt unsafe.

I liked everything for 11$ a night how could anyone find anything to dislike. thank you Mafer for a great stay.

it was not far from the beach, the staff was really nice and helpful in everything.

The room was smelling like a closed space, the light was really soft, and the door/window in our room didn’t have lock.
