This home is also part of the Collins Lake Resort complex offering deluxe amenities including a shared pool, hot tub, and sauna.

This rental is just a mile from the Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Ski Bowl where you can ski and snowboard on 65 runs in winter and enjoy a host of warm weather activities in the summer including an Alpine slide, zip lines, horseback riding, and mini golf. After a day of outdoor excitement, head into town where you'll find the Mt. Hood Cultural Center and Museum as well as a number of shops, restaurants, and bars, all within walking distance of this condo.

Like where the unit is situated in the complex close to a sledding spot & short walk to the pool/hot tub. Lots of room for my whole family. Clean & comfy and the kitchen is decently stocked for our needs.

Staying at Collins Lake was a good jumping point for our week of skiing. The house stayed plenty warm and the heated garage was very much appreciated.

The location of the property is great. We liked being able to walk up to the Alpine Village and the pool and trails were close. However, upon entering the property we were greeted with an awful odor, I can only say it smelled like stinky shoes - maybe one time wet ski gear or the carpeting got wet and musty? We immediately set upon opening all the windows. The blinds were a challenge to get up and and to stay up. The window in the main bedroom would not stay open. The smell was bad enough that we bought febreeze just to neutralize the odor. The paint jobs in the bathrooms are quite bad- incomplete and paint bleeding through, painted around light switches or was unfinished, also under the window in the main bedroom some drywall seems to have flaked off in a small pile. The television in the main bedroom did not work- we got it to turn on without the remote, but that was it. There was a Wi which was exciting for my kids but we could not get it to work- seems like there was a cord missing- but there were no instructions anywhere for anything. A welcome book with pool hours, restaurants, local info would have been nice. I would assume all these units are the same and we would enjoy Collins Lake again, we would not rent this unit, unless it was fixed up.

This has a great location for a weekend visit. The house was clean and cozy. Bed were great, and the amenities were working during our stay. I do love the quick access to the hike trails and around the pond as well.

Appreciated this being a pet friendly condo so we could have our fur babies with us. The place was very clean, as was the gas grill on the deck. The 2 beds that we used were pretty comfortable. Only issues were that the knobs on the front door & garage door were both loose, and the garage door knob didn't lock. Thankfully the front door has a dead bolt, so that one at least was secure.

Nicely updated condo. Great access to gov't camp.and nearby snow areas. The space was clean and comfortable. There had been a snow the night before and the space in front of the garage had not been shoveled, which made it hard to park in the garage.

Great spot, clean, perfect location to walk into town and to the ski resort. Unfortunately we only stayed one of our two nights due to a snowboard accident. Don't plan on checking in anytime before 4pm...we had to wait until 4:15pm-due to cleaning staff.

This Collins Lake Condo has a great location- it is quiet and backs up to forest so you have a nice view out the back. It is as far as you can get from the pool/hot tub if that matters to you. It is a lovely condo that has been kept in good shape. Plenty of room to relax in. Comfortable couches and beds. Well stocked kitchen. Great stay.

Great location to enjoy Government Camp

This home was a great home base from which to explore Government Camp. We enjoyed walking around the lake, sledding in the snow and taking in the beauty of the area. The kitchen was less stocked than we would have hoped and it seemed like the wood floors had not been throughly cleaned for a while, but otherwise the home was lovely. We would definitely book it again.

My stay was for myself and a couple other attendees at Dave Lyon Summer Race camp at Timberline, and the location and features of this vacation home worked excellently! We had quick access up through town up to Timberline each day for the early on-snow, and walkable access into town was great.

Overall good stay. Love the toaster oven and well stocked kitchen. Only suggestions would be to have some smaller kid friendly dishes and a few large beach towels.

We had a great time at Collins Lake resort enjoying ski bowl and the town of Government Camp. The town house was lovely and fit our family perfectly. The only small issues I would say would be the lack of toiletries that were promised (no travel shampoo / conditioner despite the email saying they were provided) and no wash clothes, only towels in the unit. Also, if you like the dark, the blinds are not very good at blocking the light and could use replacing. The living room couch is a bit worn but comfortable. I would maybe add a chair in the upstairs bedrooms just for somewhere else to sit when the kids are on the tv / games downstairs and you want to read in peace :). All in all a nice house with lots of space for our family of 6. Within walking distance to town and restaurants and Ski bowl for cosmic tubing! Will definitely remember swimsuits next time for the hot tub and pool at the club house! :)

Really great property. We were a little concerned about the unit going in because there were relatively few reviews, but it easily met expectations. Everything we needed was there and in working order, and the unit’s layout was more spacious than we’d realized based on the pictures. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. We appreciated that the garage was unfinished. Some Collins Lake condos have turned their garages into game rooms, but a covered parking spot is far more useful in winter in Government Camp. We’re already plotting our return. Thanks for having us!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The only issue we found, and it was kind of big, was that someone left the gas stove on and when we entered the place the smell was nauseating. We opened all the windows and it was all good after an hour or so. I actually hit the gas burner knob myself by accident so I can see how this might happen by accident. It’s a really great rental—I would not, not go there again but I wanted someone to know about the gas issue.

We stayed here as a family of 4. Kitchen is well appointed. Loved the heated garage for ski gear over night. The gas fireplace made things extra cozy. They had extra bedding, hairdryers and toiletries. Felt like it was a bit of a checklist to get through on the day of checkout, but perhaps that's standard. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great location to all mt hood has to offer. Ski bowl is very close. Even though Skibowl lifts were still closed there was plenty to do. House was very clean and fully stocked with all the basics you would need. There was sleds, bikes and snow gear in the garage. Washer and dryer was very useful after day in the snow. Facility had heated pool, hot tub and sauna. Distance to the clubhouse is a little bit hike and not much parking space available nearby. Other than that there isn’t anything negative to say about the place. We had a great stay.

Pool, trail around Collins Lake and local activities were the best. Our family had a great time. No AC but temperature was just right. Plenty of space. Lovely kitchen. Our dog got to come too which was a nice perk. Would be nice to have free WiFi. Some of the movies were missing.

This unit could use some attention. Bedding and pillows were old and worn, no shelving in bathroom for guest toiletries (and very little counter space), no hooks/rings to hang a hand towel next to sink in upstairs bathrooms, kitchen was poorly equipped — knives were dull with loose handles, lots or random mismatched utinsels and dishes, no measuring cups or even a rubber scraper, badly scratched up non-stick pans, etc. Window coverings are broken down, and don’t provide much light control (the bedroom window in the front of the unit had lots of light coming in from the building across the way at night). Luckily, there were only a couple of us staying there, so my son moved to the room with no windows to sleep.
This unit could use a good spring cleaning — dust bunnies in corners and on base boards and in closets, random overspray of paint on walls/ceiling (obv DIY project), even an outdated gaming system taking up room in a closet — why?
On the upside... Vacasa was actually very easy to work with; the view out the back is quite nice (backs on to a pretty treed area, and spaced far enough away from other buildings to have some privacy), and it’s in a good location to buffer road noise (some units in CL have lots of road noise).
It did the job, just not one of my favorite CL units.

Everything was very nice at the place. We really enjoyed it. I would have given a 5 but the upstairs window wasn't working during that time so it was so hot :(. Other than that it was really lovely
