Very quiet neighborhood, easy access to the main road and to Arnold’s restaurants , gas stations and grocery market . Thats a total plus for us who are from the city.

Cute little home. Great location. Close to everything, driving distance between locations and super markets.
The house was well equipped with everything you could think of and need during your stay. Spacious living room.
Downside and really what almost ruined our stay here.. there is a leakage behind the cabin. I believe is the sewer pipe and it smells the whole household. We couldn't really enjoy the outside fire pit because the smell was so bad.
I tried reaching out to but no reply and response and still no response.
It was a really big deal and would've left this house If we could have all due to that leakage and smell.
Other than that the inside of the house was nice and fit my family well.

We had a 2 night stay at the Lakeview Lodge in January 2023. In the days leading up to our trip, I had messaged Vacasa to ask if roads were plowed in snowy weather. During our stay, I had messaged again to ask where the garbage bin key was. Two days after we left the property, I finally got an acknowledgement that they received my messages (but no answer to either question). They simply apologized for the delayed response.
The house was located in a quiet neighborhood, which was nice. The front burner of the stove was not working. Other than that, the kitchen appliances that we did use seemed to be fine. Beds and furniture were comfortable enough.
We drove about 15 minutes and had a lot of fun playing in the snow, which was the highlight of our trip.

We had a change in plans and found this home available for the dates we needed plus they allow dogs. This home is set in a wooded neighborhood and a perfect location to visit around Murphy’s, Columbia, Big Trees and more! Well appointed fir our family of four. Our teenagers enjoyed the loft space. The management reached out about any needs during our stay and were responsive when we had a question or concern. We would definitely stay here again!

Good weekend getaway
The neighborhood and location of the property is awesome! The property itself accommodates quite a few people, we didn’t even need to use the upstairs at all. It was great for children and is dog friendly. Everyone we came in contact with in the neighborhood was very friendly.
I gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I never received a check in email on how to access the property. I had to call on my drive up and they had to confirm my identification which was not clear when I rented. The person that helped me on the phone was very friendly and helpful though. When we got there, there was no propane for the bbq or the fire pit so we couldn’t use them. In addition the screen door was off the back slider and you can’t use any of the HOA amenities which my son was so disappointed about. There is an awesome pool and little beach area.

Excellent for a family and a dog!
The house was very clean. Wood pile was well stacked (and we used all of it!) My nieces and nephew (5&6) LOVED the loft area with the foosball table. It was nice to have a grill too.
A few maintenance items that we reported to the property manager (one of the burners on the stove wasn't working, the primary bedroom shower stall door didn't want to stay closed). Nothing major.
I would definitely stay here again with my family and dog. Is it a luxury rental, no. Is it a comfortable place to relax after skiing, playing at the snow park, or a hike along the Arnold Rim Trail - absolutely!

This home offers a great layout for a group of varied ages. Clean! There was space for adults to gather while also allowing plenty of space for younger children/teens to play in the loft and dogs to roam on deck/property.

We love it here!
This was our second time staying at this property. We noticed a few improvements since our last stay, but both visits have been wonderful. The cabin is clean and well stocked. It has you feeling right at home. We will definitely be coming back for a third stay!

Unmet Potential...
When we initially booked our stay, there were only four reviews, and they were decent. Shortly after we booked, and after our cancellation grace period, a series of extremely bad reviews populated the site. Out of concern, I tried to contact the property owner, and after 10 days of hearing nothing I called VRBO directly. They connected me with the property manager, who assured me that all of my concerns were being addressed. In actuality, NONE of my concerns were addressed, and we arrived to a worse situation than previous tenants. As you'll notice in other reviews, the profile for the property is NOT reflective of what you encounter upon arrival.
- No firepit, though one is depicted in profile.
- Patio furniture depicted in profile not there.
- Broken garbage disposal.
- Broken burner on stove (front left), which was super frustrating during Thanksgiving.
- Bathroom sink plumbing needs to be addressed.
- Broken shower door.
- Inadequate supplies: dishwasher soap, garbage bags, etc.
- TV not hooked up.
I am going to request a partial refund for these issues, ESPECIALLY since I have documented concern, and a response saying the issues were addressed.

Fire pit broken, missing coffee pot and TV didn't work
Upon entry to the cabin, there is a big artistic sign in the entry that says Granny's Cabin... and it smelled like one.
The place is pretty outdated, the furniture not very comfortable.
The fire pit was broken, the coffee pot to the coffee maker missing, we could not get the downstairs TV to work so had to watch upstairs.
When I contacted Vacasa about these issues, I was told someone would contact us. Only one person texted me simply to say the fire pit was broken and part was ordered. When I responded to him with additional questions/issues, he never responded. Considering the fire pit was a selling point for us, you can imagine our disappointment. Luckily it wasn't that cold so we could still sit around the fire, but the chairs are just old diner style chairs rather than lounge chairs.
When I contacted Vacasa on several occasions to report the various issues, I was told someone would contact us, though no one did. Ever.
Even after requesting to be moved to another property, nothing, no response.
After our trip, I sent yet another email asking them to rectify this. No response. I wasn't exactly looking for a refund because we made the best of it, but for the price we paid, I would have appreciated a note of apology and maybe a discount for a future rental. Nothing.
The only good feature... the internet was really good. I have a Surface Pro and the internet worked great.
The neighbors homes are very close by, though nobody was home at the one closest neighbor.
If you are looking for a getaway and some nice creature comforts, I would not recommend this place and I would not recommend this company as they were pretty much unresponsive.
They couldn't even bring us a new coffee maker? Come on! For the price we paid. Very disappointed.

Family trip
This is a great cabin and great location. Lots of room. Beds comfy and a lot of amenities were provided. We had teenagers and they enjoyed the foosball table. Close by many activities and restaurants. Great family weekend. Other shared activities would have been available if not for COVID shutting them down.
However, I very seldom give a lower than 4 Star review but just a few TLC touches and This would be a 5 star cabin. The fire pit was broken (And this was the final reason we chose this cabin over others) , no coffee carafe for the coffee pot so no coffee. Loft needs lights. We moved a lamp up there so the boys could play foosball. Cabin had a lot of cobwebs (which we cleaned), but understandable if no one had been there for a while. No cell service in the area to advise of the issues. However we didn’t mind no cell service. . I would stay again if I knew these items were available or addressed.

Overall the property is decent, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood, close to big trees , white pines lake and wineries.Check in is a breeze, I just had 1 communication with manager and they answer quickly The house need some updates, minor stuff but would be more convenient such as front screen door is not align and difficult to latch in, curtain mechanism is broken and not opening and closing properly, master bathroom shower door is not closing properly, we made it work but I’m expecting that those things should be in working orderOn the good note house is clean, kids enjoy the loft bedroom , there is plenty of board games and we’re quite please with excellent WiFi signal

Covid restrictions= no pool, no lake access
Be aware that renters are not allowed to use the pool and amenities or even the two small lakes in the community. The location of this property is very close to three neighbours and not much privacy on the decks. Also main community road is surprisingly loud on weekends. Deck furniture is minimal. Beds and linens were clean and reasonably comfortable. Sleeping areas all clean and well equipped. Kitchen counters / sinks / fridge were clean but the rest (cupboards, equipment, floors) was very sticky with built up dirt. Main room couches and carpets felt dirty with long use, lots of cobwebs. TV didn't work for us and we gave up. Felt very overcharged for this stay.

I would not recommend this property
There are repairs that need to be done, one of the burners on the stove doesn't work. Someone urinated through the front bedroom screen and trailed it through on to the windowsill. There are cobwebs in the windows, the facing in the main bathroom is coming off the counter, the towel rack in the main bathroom came off the wall. The cabinets in the kitchen are sticky from grime. The frame to the front bedroom bed doesn't fit the bed very well and I have a disabled person sleeping in it. None of the drapes work on the curtain rods. We were told someone was going to come and take care of this, and that we would need to be out of the house. We made special arrangements, and no-one showed up. We were told someone would be contacting us to make it right, and nothing. It is evident that there is no follow through at all.

Great for a big family
Overall we had a good time and the kids loved traveling to Murphy’s, playgrounds/parks, and checking out caves.
Our Only big challenge was that we ran out of hot water everyday after two people showered. And the rest of us 5 adults had barely warm water or cold showers. I think they forgot to turn up the water heater temperature prior to our arrival.

False advertisement
This listing was listed as having an AC unit, which was one of the key factors that lead me to select this property. When we arrived at the premise it was very warm in the house (about 85F) so I turned the AC down to 75F to start cooling down the place. Three hours later it was 84F, so I called to inform them that the AC was broken. I was told that someone would be there in the morning to fix it, as it was quite late at the time. By 11am the next morning no one had come, so I called again and was routed to the regional manager who said that the unit did not in fact have AC. Her only solution was to move us to a different cabin despite the fact we were leaving in the morning.
Overall it was a horribly disappointing experience and what could have been a relaxing weekend away turned into a hot and stressful time due to false advertisement. I will not be booking with them again.

Absolutely loved it!
The home was very easy to find and ample parking and easy access & instructions. The home itself was equipped with everything we needed for our family of 9 adults and 1 baby. My grandkids loved the fast WiFi! Beautiful, peaceful deck, fire-table & BBQ. 3 full-antler bucks joined us for breakfast off the deck. 2 nice lakes nearby. 1 only a few blocks and 1 a mile or two away. Only drawback AC was weak but we managed. We would definitely go here again.
