Good location. Room tastefully decorated.

Room very nice.

Woke up at 5am by noise of seagulls followed by the Dustbin collection. After this noise ongoing. Had to have windows open due to weather and no air con.

The location was excellent. Easy walking around the city. The room was small but cosy

Our room was over the bar so was noisy during the day but at night all was quiet.

Superb location right in the heart of Padstow

Excellent location and friendly staff. Its very near all the shops and harbour area in Padstow. Nice touches in the room like a very posh coffee maker. Also the pub has a roof garden which is great for sunny days.

Bedside lamp was dangerously faulty (exposed plug). It was promptly taken away when I reported it but never replaced. Room was on the small side compared to others we stayed in on our trip but OK nonetheless.

A welcome rest.

The room I had at this place was spacious and comfortable with all the things I needed. My one night stay was after walking The Camel Trail from Wadebridge so it was a very welcome rest.

Great location and lovely food - be prepared for lots of stairs though and fair amount of pub noise.

Fantastic location, close to everything in Padstow that we wanted to visit: shops, cafes, restaurants, harbour, pubs, ferry etc. The staff were friendly, especially the breakfast service which was less busy and so had more time to chat. The room was clean and tidy. The food at dinner and breakfast was first class - they have a great chef. The pub itself has lots of character and great appeal.

It was awkward to park / unload, but we knew this would be the case and so were prepared. We could have used some help getting our belongings (cases and dog stuff) up and down stairs, through tight corridors and several fire doors, but no help was offered. They seemed short-staffed and very busy during the day. The room was quirky and odd-shaped, but it's an old building, so we made that work. The room was also noisy 'til about 11.30pm - our window overlooked the passage to the kitchens / toilets and so voices were very audible, plus the noise of the pub / music very audible each time the passageway door was opened. The room needs more power sockets in better locations. We also asked for single bedding, but this wasn't provided.

comfortable but a little pricey for not including breakfast

location fantastic and equally the staff. left car keys there and was called promptly to let us know. excellent customer service.

the bad experience started at check in where 2 local men drinking in the pub told us to f@!£ off back to where we came f

stained bedding. no hand towels or bathroom mat. dirty coffee maker and cups. no heating in the room on the first day. unhelpful staff.

Thoroughly enjoyable.

The room was very comfortable and the decor most attractive. The venue was central and although we were made aware that as it was above a pub it may be noisy, in fact the only noise we heard was the bin men in the morning!

We would like to have stayed longer!

Lovely welcome, lovely room.

Noisy till closing time but predictably so. Very peaceful when closing hours.Awful experience when came down for breakfast. We were ignored. The person in charge was chatting with someone on the door, we went in but were ignored. We asked for breakfast and got a menu but were still left waiting for so long that we left to eat elsewhere.

Lovely place - will defo return

Location was excellent - staff very friendly and the full breakfast was brilliant . Evening meal also delicious. Superb selection of Gins and flavoured Rums .Tea and coffee making facilities provided also.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like .

A good value and comfortable room in an old pub - great for a short stay

Good breakfast Room very comfortable for a short stay, with good coffee and tea provision. Excellent central location (but no parking)

The age and layout of the room gave rise to some limitations - eg only one bedside light. Since rooms are over the bar, there was inevitably some noise, but this stopped by 11.

Fabulous

Charming hotel great family pub with exceptionally nice staff

A book in the room explaining facilities. For example we couldnt get TV stations , only netflicks but really this was not much of an issue.

I booked this for my son and daughter-in-law but very disappointed as they were told on departure that they had to pay for the room which they did! I had already paid for the room through you in May so we called the London Inn regarding this and they said they would call back but this did not happen. Please look into this for us asap as the room has now been paid for twice! Thank you Jean

Even better than expected in every aspect.

Dale was the perfect host and made us feel very welcome indeed. Could not have been more central for everything Padstow has to offer. Pub has a great beer choice and the breakfast was excellent.

The binmen were noisy!

bedroom was excellent, great facilities, bedding was great quality and bed was nice and comfortable. Great location.

Shower not powerful, needs updating. Breakfast not included in room price. Breakfast was terrible. Poor quality ingredients, bacon over cooked and had to wait nearly an hour after ordering.

Over all we had a pleasant t overnight stay, once the bar closed the room was quiet and peaceful.

The room was clean and nicely furnished with a clean modern ensuite shower and lavatory. Tea and Coffee facility's in the room. We had breakfast the next morning, that was paid extra on top of the room cost , good sized portions and all cooked fresh to order. Staff were polite , friendly and welcoming.

The noise from the bar , conversation and music was very loud in the room which was directly over the bar area. It is a pub after all so some noise is to be expected. If during your stay you plan to be out until late in the evening it won't be problem.Once the bar has closed it was a peaceful night and couldn't hear any noise from surrounding streets.

good location and nice size room.

was there for 3 days the room had no water. the room wasn’t cleaned once for the whole time we was there. the room had no milk for tea.
