Ruhige naturnahe Lage. Interieur mit viel Liebe und vermutlich begrenzten Mitteln gestaltet
Gewisse Möblierungskombinationen wenig geglückt

Set in beautiful surroundings.
The ground floor room was well furnished and very comfortable.
Excellent dinning room.
We stayed two nights and on both occasions ordered drinks around the pool in late afternoon - on both occasions they took over half an hour to arrive.
The main restaurant was closed for refurbishment.

Architecture and grounds, very dog friendly. Stayed here 20 years ago and it still
Makes an impression
Room full of bugs, did ask for it to be hoovered while I was at dinner, but no one bothered.

Posto meraviglioso, appena fuori Chambéry
Molto accogliente, bellissima atmosfera

Nice old building in lovely location.
Nice swimming pool.
Only had hand held shower. Very awkward to use.
Dinner was quite expensive and did not enjoy it. Steak was full of fat and grissle.

The chateau was gorgeous. The employees were great especially in the restaurant.
The electrical outlets in our room didn’t work. We only found a couple that would. In todays world of cell phones and watches it was a pain.

Location was good and easy to get away from without having to go into Chambery. A very large room and spacious. Breakfast was good, though coffee machine was not working.
The room was expensive for the quality and standard. It was an upgrade to a luxe room but the rooms did not feel luxe for the price we paid. It was disappointing. The room was dated and tired and could do with some redecoration if it is to be continued to be called a luxe room.

The location and parking were good. The size of the room booked was generous and comfortable.
Initially we were offered a room which was a room smaller that ´we had booked. After pointing this out to the staff, we were given a room as booked. The restaurant of the hotel was expensive for quality of the meals served.

Pleasant room, a bit noisy as we were close to reception, but my daughter is disabled so not having a long walk was what I requested. Staff smoking area was close to our balcony.
The food was really delicious and the chef was kind enough to cook my bavette a little more than it is usually served for my personal taste
Wedding happening so was advised on arrival, half the hotel was not accessible.
Bistro was so dark, where I was seated and had to use my phone torch to see menu. I asked for more lighting and a lamp was brought. Service was very patchy, we waited a long time to order whilst others were seated and received drinks immediately. We were served the wrong wine, but it was delicious. We had extra items added to our restaurant bill.
The person who checked me in advised me where to park my car in view of my daughters disabilities which were advised on booking. After dinner I was told I was incorrectly parked and had to move, but I had been guided by a staff member to park and although the duty manager said this person would be spoken to. He continued to chastise me in a way that was very upsetting for me and my daughter who could hear everything from our room. As a regular traveller I was appalled that a member of staff would speak to a client like this. My French friends who I was going on to stay with were mortified and felt that I was treated like a 'plouc'.
I would have left immediately, but I had drunk wine, so we left at 7am, before breakfast. I will not stay here again.

Magnificent historic building and grounds, comfortable clean accommodation. Delicious generous breakfast.
Poor lighting from carport to reception. After long road trip, arriving after dark, it was not possible to have a meal in the restaurant, nor even to have a drink at the bar as fully booked for private party.

Accessories in the room.
Room not on main building and above the restaurant. Lot of noise and food smell on the night of October 31st
No lights from the car park to the reception
No possibility to use the swimming poll because already closed for winter.
At the breakfast on October 31st one family close to may table was forced to clearing away the table by them selves since all the other table were occupied or not cleaned and no one was helping them to clean the table
