The breakfast was really nice and the option available there of getting wine or beer or soft drinks or water was a great service . We got s very good wine!
Location is also in the heart of the city center. There was also s fridge and place to cook in theory which was very good to have the option.
From the train station we had to walk for 20 min as there was no bus connection but it was fine, we could explore directly the city center a bit. There was no fan which for the very hot summer might be an issue, we kept the windows open and it was ok

Locality and cleanliness
8.0 / 10.0
Excellent and generous breakfast which was served by friendly staff, The beds were comfy and the rooms were very clean. The Family Room was perfect for our needs and I would recommend this as a place to stay for those travelling with young children. The best aspect is the location, it is incredibly central!
The decorations were a little dated and there was an electrical socket that looked a little bit dangerous. Parking was very difficult which made arriving with children and bags tough (I accept that the hotel can't do anything about this, but it is something other families may want to consider).

The apartment is located centrally.
There was no balcony and no view from the apartment.

Breakfast was great - she laid out a beautiful table for the 7 of us. Just a short walk to the town square!
PARKING WAS NONEXISTENT - we had to walk almost 1/2 mile to get from our car to the hotel. But I understand the problem - I guess I'm just used to traveling in the USA with big parking lots adjacent to the hotels.

Location was perfect and the 2 bedroom apart plenty spacious .
Like most inner city accommodation, it suffered from pedestrian foot traffic right outside up to 3am unless you kept your windows shut which made the room quiet stuffy. Wifi was non existent unless you sat in reception area. Suggest they update the ‘permit to access the old town’ information on booking.com as its incorrect. Please note that you DO NOT need to collect your permit first from the fashion shop as the email suggest. Just drive up and do your thing.

Nice staff, great breakfast.
A bit pricey, but matches with other hotels in Cochem.
Table was too small to play boardgames.

Breakfast was great, there was a lot of room and a little kitchenette that was unexpected.

The room was brilliant and the location of the room was so close to the Reichsburg Cochem which makes it the right place to stay when visiting Cochem. It is just 400m to Reichsburg. Additionally, this was also our honeymoon and our room was arranged in a good way with a bottle of champagne. Also, the pillows were really comfy. We slept like a baby.
The only thing which we didn't like was the lack of proper breakfast when you are a vegetarian. I think you can pass this dislike when you intend to stay less than 2 days since there are a couple of good cafés like Sabrina's café nearby.

The location is very central, few minutes by foot to the riverside and also to the town centre... The room setup was very comfy and the host was very warm

The rooms were smaller than expected, but they were clean. The hotel, in general, was a little more 'worn' than depicted on Booking.com.
There should be some outside pictures and pictures of the entry.

It is a nice cosy Gästehaus, in the centre of Cochem. Very friendly staff and the breakfast is excellent. Nice location near the castle. And very romantic ;-)

Very friendly staff, rooms were very clean with a very good roomservice. Breakfast was very good also. A perfect place to spend your weekend.
The WiFi connection was not very stable.
5.0 / 10.0
Location is very much centered in the city
The room is not well maintained. Given the special occasion of corona we are surprised that the cleanses of the room is not well kept. For example there are obvious stains on the hair dryer, bodies of spiders are right in the corner.
The bed and pillow are too soft, which didn’t help us relieve tiredness of the long walk.
The breakfast was just okay. It was like a bit of everything from the supermarket. Coffee is plain.
Low value of money spent on the accommodation. I don’t even recommend the coty as a relaxing destination as everything here is over-priced and though with very below-standard quality.

Nice breakfast and friendly staff. Simple, clean rooms which proved to be surprisingly cool, temperaturewise, during hot August nights.
Quite noisy in the thru street to the castle at nights, as Cochem is pretty much overrun by tourists during the peak summer season. Next time we’ll use a hotel a little further away from all the bustle. Which will still be within walking distance from it all, since Cochem is really small!
9.0 / 10.0
Luxurious room and fresh fruit at breakfast.
- The only meat for breakfast was pork. A slice of chicken filet would have been nice.
- The hostess could'nt understand the English language
- We missed some practical information about Cochem and tips for trips in the area.
