Perfect location and very accommodating in every way.
It was great!

We enjoyed everything about this stay. Great Location and wonderful 15th Century building, but with mod cons. Central to sights and restaurants, although the hotel's restaurant is one of the best we ate at. Unlike so many other hotels these days, Albergo Cappello has a guest lounge, and a bar so you can have drinks and relax after a day's sightseeing. Our room was a delight - bed was comfy, huge and great to lie in bed and look at the ceiling from 1468 AD. Bathroom modern, large shower cubicle, with bidet and lots of towels, bathrobes etc. Staff are very friendly, efficient and go above and beyond. One of the best hotel stays of our four week trip in Italy.
wish we could have stayed longer!

The staff were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was incredible. Location amazing. We couldn’t have asked for any more. Thank you.
Hard to think of anything.

Accommodation, food and location extremely good. Monica was very helpful, especially in arranging additional accommodation when Ravenna and the area were flooded, Dora helped us with transport away from Ravenna when there was no public transport. Aurora provided a smiling greeting whenever we saw her.
Nothing.

Great location in the heart of Ravenna’s old town. Junior suite nr 107 has lovely tower views. Staff as amazing as ever. Wonderful restaurant and enoteca, great cappeletti pasta. with bolognese ragout and also superb mascarpone dessert.

Enchanting historic building. Spacious quiet room, marble floors, very comfortable bed, modern bathroom
The room could use a deep clean- while the bathroom was immaculate, the floor needs a good scrub and was dusty in corners. The draperies were a bit fussy and dusty.

The hotel is set in a 1400s palace. It is incredibly beautiful. Sleeping under the wooden beams and original frescoes was such a special and unexpected experience. I was there for work, but fell in love and would really like to return. Highly recommended.
Nothing.

Staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful.
The hotel was centrally placed in the old centre.
Some aspects of the hotel were attractive e.g. the very high, decorated ceilings and the vast collection of art books.
On the two occasions we had an evening meal, the food was very good.
The hotel was dimly lit, and had old fashioned, dark wallpaper. We found this a bit depressing.
The sofa in our suite was old and sank towards its centre, most uncomfortable.
The breakfast was interrrupted by large bags of washing, and a huge laundry trolley, being dragged through the tables.
The breakfast was very limited and dull. We were offered scrambled eggs, two kinds of bread, and 3 types of cereals in packets. Fruit juice was offered but did not always appear without a reminder. Fruit consisted of apples and some very hard plums, quite inedible.
Getting our room cleaned was somewhat hit and miss. It seemed a low priority, compared to preparing rooms for new people.

The location was very nice, right in the center of the city. It is an old building, with very nice common spaces.
The personnel was very nice, very efficient and always available for us.
The was some noise in the evening and night, from the nearby restaurants. Intense sounds of broken glass at times, probably from cleaning.
The internet was not perfect for a large zoom meeting.

Can't be more central than that in Ravenna. All the Unesco monuments are within short walking distance. Mercato Coperto is right across the street, there is large pedestrian zone around the hotel, with lots of restaurants and shopping.
The hotel is amazingly and stylishly designed and furnished, our room was quite large and comfortable. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. Excellent restaurant and wine bar on premises.
Parking situation in Ravenna can be difficult, but there is a public garage nearby, with reserved spaces for the hotel guests, and that is clearly explained by the hotel staff.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and the location was fantastic. Right in the center of Ravenna
The bathroom facilities were dated. The shower was a little hard to use. The electrical sockets were old.

We had the green silk suite and felt wonderful. The staff was excellent. Anna helped us with all necessities from parking the car- we used the valet service- to insights on all cities sightseeing spots!
Thank you!
