Loved the property. Great location and amenities. Hard to find parking on weekends, but apart from that all was great. Would definitively come back!

Westgate Lakes Resort is an older resort but it is still nice. We were able to do early check-in and the process took about 20 minutes (waiting in line and checking in). Our studio room had the king bed and pull out couch and overlooked the lake and put-put course. Traffic on Turkey Lake Rd can get backed up, but the location is very good for all activities (even going to Kissimmee for an airboat tour). The water park cost a little extra, but the pools and hot tub are included and that is all we needed. We will definitely book again.

Westgate Lakes Resort is a beautiful property near the Seaworld parks.
The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed eating my breakfast on my balcony.
There is a mini kitchen, consisting of a microwave, refrigerator and sink. It is stocked with dishes and paper towels.
The bathroom has a large tub and separate shower. It is stocked with soap, toilet paper and kleenex.
Check in was a little slow even though the line was short. But they were very helpful in answering questions and providing a bellhop to show you to your room.
The a/c didn't work in the first room they gave me. They sent a repairman who confirmed that hot air was coming out of the vent but didn't do anything to fix it. They did move me to a new room where the a/c worked perfectly.
There are several pool areas in addition to the water park. They have several activities onsite.
The resort hopes you will go to their presentation to buy a timeshare but don't require it. You do get reduced prices on Park tickets if you go.
There is a trail around the resort by the lake that is about 2 miles long. There is a small island with hammocks and a large covered area to hang out. Overall it's a beautiful and relaxing location. I would recommend it.

Great place to stay! It has been updated since the pictures that are posted, it was a more apartment style place which was fine but we did have loud neighbors and could hear almost everything.

The resort is located near plenty attractions and restaurants. There is a Walmart located less than five minutes away from the resort. The property is very clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. We had the pleasure of being checked in by Mrs. Alexandria. She had such a sweet spirit and was very helpful. We would most definitely stay here again. I was contacted before arriving and was offered the opportunity to do a timeshare meeting. I just knew they were going to hound us, but once we said no that was the end of it.

The house was being tented, so we had to take a short vacation. The facility was great, but the check-in wait was horribly long, congested and uncomfortable. There were people actually trying to get a room while those of us with reservations were still waiting in line. Standing in line is not a good start to a relaxing vacation. The sliding door was very difficult to open and close on both the balcony and closet. The sink stopper did not work, so it was either in or out, which was disgusting to have to touch. The overall stay was still nice though. The nice, hot soak in the tub actually minimized any inconveniences spoken of earlier. The restaurant, store, sandwich shop, game room, and numerous pools were perfect and made for some fun strolls around the grounds. Improve the longggg wait for check-in and you get 5 stars!!!

At check-in, we were told that our stay was canceled. Turned out that the mix-up was with VRBO and the manager. It was worked out but not without stress.

Very fair price for the nice room we stayed in. Great view overlooking the small lake. The room was very clean and spacious. Highly recommended if going to Disney, SeaWorld or Universal Studios, location right in the center of it all.

Upon checking in- I witnessed 3+ people waiting to be checked in while only 2 staff were assisting with check in but 5+ staff roamed about joking, eating in the lobby, and using non-professional (f-bomb) language. Secondly, the resort is large, and shuttle service is unreliable to non-existent. The night before our flight, we asked concierge service for a shuttle at 4 am, they told us to call, we spent 10 minutes calling with no answer, front desk no answer and no answer at guest services. We finally used a phone for urgent services at the elevator who said they send us a shuttle and waited 10 min for that- and still no one. Arrived (walked) at the lobby to find 4 staff standing in the lobby, seeming unaware why we were upset we didn’t have a shuttle.
Also, the resort is only a hotel with pool, everything else is extra money- including the “water park”. The soaking tub is in the middle of the room (online it appeared in the bathroom)…

We enjoyed our stay! The only thing that wasn’t accurate was the walk in shower that was supposed to be in the room but that’s no big deal. Everything is pretty close to the resort. Great location! The room was really nice and we had a great experience. Easy check in as well, no wait time. Thank you Jake! We will definitely be looking forward to booking with you again.

First, it's important to mention we are definitely not the demographic I believe Westgate Lakes is designed for. It seems designed for families, but we had a marvelous time.
I was in Florida for a lengthy business trip and wanted a place to stay in the middle to take a break and enjoy a bit of Florida, especially the Orlando area. When we made the reservation, we weren't sure what we were planning to do; however, we knew we wanted to be close to Orlando attractions such as Universal Studios, Disney properties, etc. I doubt we could have done any better.
The evening before our arrival, I was contacted to confirm our reservation. We were invited to a timeshare meeting. I feared we would be pestered during our stay . . . but, as soon as I mentioned we were not interested, we were never asked again.
This place I imagine is wonderful for families with young children that can play and swim in the pool after the hustle and bustle of the theme park craziness.

Visited Orlando for a convention but turned off hours into a mini vacation. Had family come visit and enjoyed the water park and the pool! Everyone was so nice and accommodating from the pool attendant, to the shuttle drivers, to the restaurant employees! Thank you for a great stay!

My wife and I stayed at the property for 3 nights after a business trip. The property is located within easy distance of the express ways so getting out and about was easy. Did not viist visit any Theme Parks but they are all within 15 minutes dirve.
The property is well maintained, we were in a 1-bedroom studio. It was very clean and met our needs. I would go back again.

The property was in a great location for Disney and Universal Studios. The Christmas decor was so cute and my kids loved it. My kids loved the arcade. It was a great way to end the travel day. The heated pools were a hit with my kids. The description of the property was accurate. Jake and all staff were super helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend this property.

This property was not as clean as described. Several items were pointed out to me. The broken closest door, the remote was not programmed to TV, and the shower head fell off once I started the shower. Entirely to much marijuana smoke around the property that brings up concern of the type of ppl at the resort.

Started out rough with getting out in a studio that only slept 3, when should have slept 4, but the front desk manager got us into a different room the next day with amazing view of the lake. Great walking trail and amenities.
