Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was spacious and clean. It had a desk area which is great when travelling for work. It has one of the best gyms even seen in a hotel. The metro station is right below and the train station right across the street, so very convenient to travel around.

Great hotel and great upgrade of room
Nothing it was amazing

was ok
to much noise

Pretty good hotel staff, location is not half bad, Wi-Fi is ok throughout the property.
The wall is pretty thin so I was waken up by screaming kids or people in other room opening/closing their doors many quite a few times early in the morning. Also the swimming pool is always packed with kids taking swimming classes, not very hotel guests friendly.

Location
Noisy next guests.
Unprofessional housekeepers
Unfriendly receptionist

General all, is not a real 5-star hotel. Staff doesn't speak really english, they even put down the phone if you call the service button. Room service is a disaster, i wanted to order food in a hurry, I call and ok order. After 30min someone come to the room to get the order because the other didn't really understand on the phone. Really a joke.
Checking in and out takes forever... on checkout, they didn't find me in the system, after 10min someone else of the staff come and ... OOOO, sorry you check out, the other staff think you check in.... I was like what???, I give my room key and all to him. Really insane.

as a business traveller you expect a wifi that works. the wifi was very weak and never stable during the total stay

Nice room, very nice staff at concierge. good location close to subway and railways.
The location is quite far from real Jingan. Breakfast a bit unorganized

The Pullman is ideally located by the Shanghai Railway Station and the Metro (Lines 1, 3 and 4). I have stayed here before and have been impressed by the staff, facilities, and overall service.

Always great. The staff are very patient. As a foreigner I don’t understand Chinese. they don’t much understand either but they went to a great length to help me.
Getting a cab can be a wait - but that’s not the fault of the hotel.

I liked the location as it is right next to line 1 Metro and very near the Shanghai Train Station, which is very convenient. The room was spacious and pleasant. I found all the staff professional and friendly. I would consider staying there again.
Whilst the hotel provided both Western and Asian food for breakfast, I was a bit disappointed by the Western choices, especially as Shanghai is consistently highlighted as the most international city in China.

Very friendly staff.
Make sure you leave the nearby subway station from the correct entrance or you may be walking around for a bit.

Nice and convenient hotel just in front of Shanghai railway station
size of the room quite small

Lovely big bathroom.
They had no record of the booking so we had to wait for this to be cleared up.

The front desk charged us more than the price Booking shown. When I asked them, they repetitively told me that it is the correct amount until Booking reached them. It was not the experience that I would expect from a five star hotel.

Even with the "do not disturb" sign on, someone came in to change bedding and towels, despite the hotel's policies about caring for the environment. I hate the fact that my stay has to be more polluting than needed.

Staycation in town. the location could easily reach the Metro. The executive lounge well met our expectation, lounge open from 13pm to 21pm, had juice in the afternoon and happy hour from 17pm. The happy hour is above the expectation. We used the swimming pool which was mostly occupied by children with swimming pool membership.
The breakfast serve since 6.30, turns out the fried dumpling sausage were all cold when we came at 9am. We could not find the forks and knifes. NO one will greeting or ask if need for coffee. The management is lack of training.
Thanks to the reservation team, we got upgraded to room with bathtub, love it.
The bed mattress is too soft. The room service did not pay attention as we had extra shampoo but no lotion!
The coffee capsule gave 4 but no more if you ask more, you will have instant coffee instead. So, we went lounge for coffee!

Had a really great stay at the Pullman on a recent trip to Shanghai. Check-in was super efficient and the staff was very friendly. Spacious rooms, comfy bed, and pillows, and loved the fluffy towels in the bathroom. Loved having the Nespresso machine in my room. The gym and pool exceeded my expectation.
The location is not as central as I would have preferred, but a quick metro or taxi ride and you can be in the heart of the city. Due to the Spring Festival, some amenities were limited (ie spa, gym hours, etc).

As the air conditioning was faulty in the room we booked and the very helpful staff was not able to fix it we had been upgraded to a suite very promptly without even asking for it.
The staff was incredibly professional and our stay had been wonderful.
This was an amazing experience.
The room (suite) was so big we could loose sight of each other :-)
The bed and all facilities were first rate.
The breakfast with a large variety of Asien and Western foods was fantastic.
I can highly recommend this hotel and will be staying there again if the opportunity arises.
The location compared to other hotels within Shanghai is not everyones first pick.
It is ok as one can easily get to a metro station but the view and opportunities around the hotel can be a bit boring.
4.1
- The location is perfect, convenient for travelling, just nearby the SH railway station and not far away from city center.
-Room card is not flexible.
-The quality of Coffee/ Milk/ Yogurt remain to be improved.
