Friendly owners, good parking, comfortable bed. Kettle and teabags in the room.
We had not properly researched the location and it was further from the port than we expected.
2 of the three nights we had to share the toilet with another couple which we had not expected.
Although the homemade jam and coffee were good the breakfast was stodgy and unchanging. The other couple helped by asking for yogurt which was provided and made a big difference. We had to ask again the next day.

Very welcoming host. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the hosts had provided a lovely choice of teas, water etc. The location on the outskirts of the town was very peaceful, and we were able to walk to a few places to eat and drink in the evenings (approx 15 mins walk, though quite a steep hill on the return!). Also about 15 min walk to a lovely clean beach and a very pretty walk that runs along the coast with great views.
A good base for exploring the area, and the host was happy to recommend places to visit. There is also a useful board in the kitchen with local information e.g. market days/events etc. For the continental breakfast, the host provided crepes/breads/cakes/jams etc which he made himself, and he is clearly an excellent cook! We bought one of the jams to take home - they were all delicious.
We don't usually stay in a B&B and were not used to not having ensuite rooms. Thankfully we were the only ones there during our stay so we effectively had our own toilet, as it would otherwise have been difficult sharing I think.
The breakfasts were lovely but I would have liked something savoury as well as the cakes etc. Having said that, they were plentiful and of excellent quality, its just I don't have a sweet tooth! Breakfast times have to be pre-arranged and the host finishes serving them at 9am.
You can walk to the local bars/restaurant easily, but Concarneau is a little further away and you might prefer to drive. Parking is easy though, or there are buses that run to a stop nearby.

The host, Cyril, was very kind and helpful.
The atmosphere was calm and welcoming. We immediately felt at home.
Easy and safe parking.
The breakfast was excellent - local produce and home made.
The small beach (Le Plage de Trois Sardines) was 800 metre walk away down a country track and was very pretty and deserted. We had a lovely swim when we arrived.
Many nice restaurants nearby.

Cyril and Claudie were lovely.
Breakfasts were fab.
Eating out we had great choice and wonderful food.
Walk down to the creek was lovely too.
We had to buy our own milk to be able to have hot drinks. Kettle, tea and coffee in room but no milk provided.
I contacted the lovely hosts to make sure we had our own bathrooms (2 rooms). We did, but had to share a toilet. Had anyone else been staying, we only found this out when we arrived.

Cyrile and Claudie are great, welcoming hosts. We really enjoyed our conversations over breakfast and in the evenings. The food was delicious - Cyrile's homemade Breton cakes and Claudie's jam are worth trying! The location is really handy for the voie verte cycling route (about 1km away), and it's a wonderful spot for wandering down to two beautiful beaches - Les Quatre Sardines or Les Sables Blancs (about 15/20 mins walk).
The shared toilet with the other B&B room was a bit tricky at times. It can be difficult to close the doors (bedroom, bathroom, toilet) quietly, and not disturb the other guests. The room backs on to the main road so it sometimes felt noisy (we had the window open slightly as it was hot).

breakfast was very satisfying! Personal treat by the host(s)!
Quiet surroundings and excellent location!
excellent wifi!
the roof was declining at one side in the bed room and in the bath room. So caution needed when showering & getting in & out of bed.
