Kesäinen Tammisaari matkailijan lumosi, iltaisin väsymys matkailijan hotellin sänkyyn kumosi.

Mainiolla sijainnilla elinkaarensa päässä oleva hotelli. Kelvollinen yöpymiseen, päivät vietimme kaupunkiin tutustuen. EI liikuntarajoitteiselle! Kylpyhuone ahdas, kylpytuotteita ja juomamukeja naurettavan vähän, ymmärsimme onneksi hakea lisää. Huoneeessa ei ole tavaroille laskutilaa, pidettävä osa matkalaukussa. Ilmastointi huoneessa hyvä ja säädettävissä. Muutoin hotellissa tunkkainen sisäilma, jota joku hajuste yritti hälventää. Huoneiden ovista aiheutui avatessa ja sulkiessa äänekäs kolahdus. Aamiainen ihan hyvä mutta vaihtelee ilmeisesti esillelaittajan mukaan. Ensimmäisenä aamuna lämpimät ruuat olivat haaleita, mikä pahinta KAHVI oli sakkaista ja haaleaa!! Toisena aamuna kaikki oli paremmin. Henkilökunnasta kiitämme sisäänkirjautumisemme ottanutta vastaanottohenkilöä, hän oli kokenut ja hymyilevä. Muu henkilökunta vaikutti välinpitämättömältä, ei tervehditä eikä hymyillä kohdatessa. Asiakaspalveluun tulisi panostaa enemmän. Hotellin tasoon ja palveluun nähden hinta on korkea.

Tilava huoneisto, hyvä sijainti, siisti ja kelpo aamupala

Vastuu asiakkaan viihtyvyydestä oli sälytetty nuorelle tytölle. Häntä ei ollut perehdytetty tarpeeksi hotellin käytäntöihin. Tyttö yritti parhaansa ja oli selkeästi pahoillaan, kun ei pystynyt palvelemaan asiakasta. Kyse oli viinipullonavaajasta, jota ei talosta löytänyt. Minä itse kävelin kolmesataa metriä lähimpään ravintolaan, jossa minua palveltiin ja viinipullo avattiin.

A nice stay in a beautiful old town.

Excellent location, beach and restaurants nearby. Excellent air-conditioning, good shower and beds were comfortable. Friendly staff. Breakfast OK. We could come back.

Worn-out exterior, the lift was not in great shape.

Breakfast was traditional Finnish. Porridge, eggs, sandwiches. Fresh juices. Nothing extra, but enough.

A restful night in Tammisaari

The hotel was very clean, and the room I was provided was really quiet. I checked in late and left early, and got just what I was looking for - a good night's sleep in quiet room and comfortable bed. Due to the early check out I asked in advance to get the breakfast with me. The hotel provided me with a good vegan breakfast, as I had wished for.

There were no safety chain in the room door. I would have liked to have one, as I was travelling alone.

Nice, Ekenäs is a beautiful little town.

Great location, nice surroundings. Classic hotell with features trom the 70s.

Breakfast was a bit "limited", but allright.

Clean and low budget outdated hotel on a great location.

The location is excellent! The room (mini suite) was very spaceous and affordable although it didn’t meet a suites standards. The parking lot was right outside the door, but on the other hand there wasn’t that many visitors at the same time with us.

The hotel is in desperate need of updating/renovation. At the time of our stay (october), the reception was available only on weekdays 8-16. There wasn’t any lobbybar or restaurant and the minibar in the room was both empty and warm.

Superb

Very friendly and helpful staff. We needed to leave 2 bags at the hotel a day prior to checking in. This was no problem at all and happily accommodated. Great location at the edge of the old town and near to the harbour.

The price. But this is Finland.

Nice stay in the summer city of Tammisaari.

The location was perfect for my purposes. The hotel is in the middle of Tammisaari. The room had a nice sauna, which I used both evenings. The breakfast is very good. I like especially the meatballs and sausages.

The WiFi seems a bit slow and unstable. The room only offers small bags of shampoo, which are also a bit impractical to use. I therefore had my own shower gel and shampoo with me. There is no holder on the wall for one's shower gel and shampoo. It would be nice if the hotel would offer shower gel and shampoo containers fixed to the wall.

Good location for our purposes.

The room, a junior suite, was quite spacious. There were plenty of closet space. The bed was comfortable. The sound isolation was very good. The bathroom was large enough,

We could only open one window as the rest of them were boarded, which is not very good in the summer. There was a bathtub instead of a stand-in shower, Going into the bathtub felt dangerous and I had to assist my wife in and out of the bathtub before and after her shower.

Good beds and shower.

Elevator out of order all 3 days, rooms on 3:rd floor and just help with one bag on arrival of 3 elderly persons. One of us with a sever lung disease. Not so serviceminded staff. Simple breakfast.

Typical Finnish choice of breakfast and plenty of it. Choice of sweet, savoury, hot and cold drinks Fruit, yoghurt, cereals etc and hot and cold buffet

Would have appreciated the ability to make a tea or coffee in the room.

The usual good quality

The breakfast was quite good. The music in the breakfast room was very nice, i.e. beautiful Christmas music, which created a nice ambiance. The hotel had also made a great effort on the Christmas decorations in the breakfast room. The room is very spacious and the sauna is nice. This hotel has become my favourite one in Tammisaari.

The first morning the scrambled eggs were a bit too salty and the second morning there were no scrambled eggs at all. The heating solution in the room is adequate but not perfect, as it's based on air conditioning units blowing warm air into the bedroom and living room. These are quite noisy, but luckily I have earplugs. It would be nice if the parking space would have chargers for hybrid and electric cars, where one could charge them overnight while sleeping.

Room was clean but smelled bad (sewer related smell). Had to kill a buch of banana flies before entering the bathroom. Breakfast was so and so.

The hotel does meet your standard needs and the breakfast was tasty. Also a nice bonus to be able to sit outside to enjoy your breakfast during the summer.

The room was very worn out and incredibly cold. It also smelled like there might be some mold/water damage in the bathroom. I ended up having to turn up the heat in the evening, even when it was in the middle of summer. I wasn't expecting a luxury hotel but the stay did not match the money paid.
