Aamiainen laadukas, kaikkea kaikenlaiseen makuun. Meille entisinä lauttasaarelaisina tutuksi tullut majoituspaikka Helsingistä muutettuamme. Hyvä sisäänkäynti Länsiväylältä, pysäköintitilaa lähellä hotellin sisäänkäyntiä, merellinen miljöö eikä Länsiväylän melu kuulu kuin etäisenä kumuna. Tällainen pieni ripaus yhteispohjoismaalaista elegenssia on olennainen osa tätä kulttuurimiljöötä.
Kaikki sujui tarpeidemme mukaisesti.

I came to hotel Hanaholmen for some much needed rest, escape and also for a little personal work. I had an amazing time and the place was PERFECT for ME. My needs; (comfort, seclusion), wants ; (nature, accessibility) and interests; (art, fitness) I grew to love it and enjoyed my stay very much. The staff were super helpful and accommodating, and the food was just superb. A wonderful place to stay.
Luckily I'm not adverse to walking or finding my way around (without a car), but you need to be open to having the nearest metro into the city centre, an 18 min walk away. Or, alternatively if you have the cash to taxi to places, it's not a bad location from Key points.

Hotel Hanasaari is not far from Helsinki, yet it feels nice and secluded. We were there in winter and the scenery was absolutely beautiful. The room was warm and comfortable. We were only there for one night and did not have time to use all of the facilities.

The island itself as well the hotel, nice staff, good breakfast
The mattress in french bed, every move, makes also the rest of the bed moving. Better to book 2 single beds.

Yes, a stay in Hanasaari/Hanaholmen is not that cheap but it is 100% worth it. We are so glad we chose this hotel. It is located on a small island that feels just enough remote to enjoy the nature but can be reached by metro in 10 min + 10 min walking. You wake up with the most beautiful views of the see, great and stylish art and 70ies design. The rooms are individually designed with an eye for design details and very comfortable to stay in. But the best thing by far is the so pretty pool. This might have been the nicest pool I have ever swam in, really beautiful interior design and a great view into the snow, the sea and nature. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. Breakfast is good, we especially enjoyed the freshly baked brownie bits and smoothies. I am so so glad we treated ourselves to three nights in this hotel. And no, I am not a hotel employee, just really into Hanasaari now :-) I have attached some pics of the pool and the nature on the island in winter.
You should be aware that the walk to the next metro station is 10-15 minutes long, but you path a nice marina.

Very nice place in 80-s style, but well renovated. There is a decent art exhibition around, as well as a spa. Breakfast is great. There is ample parking space, and lovely trail to walk around.
The pool could be a tad bit warmer, as it is a bit too cold for kids.

Meals were great. The property was very nice and I enjoyed walking by the shore each morning. The packed breakfast due to an early departure was a great treat and was really delicious.
Room temperature was good and my neighbors were quiet. Bed was comfy and I slept well.
The staff was warm and welcoming. Really a great stay. My cousins recommended the hotel and I see why.

simply great, I recommend the hotel, it is a beautiful place in the heart of the Finnish nature, although the facilities are already older, everything works great.
The staff is very friendly.
Breakfast rich, and a lovely surprise in the form of a performance. The prices are a little higher.
I was disappointed with the sauna which was heated to a low temperature and not ideal when the sauna is separate if you are travelling as a couple.

A hotel disguised as an art gallery residing in nature reserve..
A bedside table with two covert sloping edges.A teacup and phone were victims.

We loved the location outside of the city, the wonderfully kind staff, the comfortable room, the access to the sauna and the beautiful breakfast every morning. We also loved that all the food was labeled making it easy for people with gluten sensitivity. The staff even brought out gluten free bread at meals. The art exhibit was an extra special treat, as well.

The facilities: sauna, pool, the art around the hotel, the hotel in general has a very beautiful environment
There was a party in the restaurant area with very loud music until 1am that was audible from mu room. I was not expecting to experience that when going to a hotel located in the forest.
The breakfast was very basic. I had to wait for about 20 min for the scrambled eggs (very basic food) and another 10 for coffee

Superb restaurant, the menu and the wine list. Even better were the staff in the restaurant, highly knowledgeable, professional but friendly. This place is like a private club.
In our room, facing the sea, only one side of the bed had a night table, and that was not my side of the bed... So all phones, chargers, water bottle had to be placed on the floor...

Beautiful and quiet location. Hotel having tasteful 70s charm. Nice pool. Paintings and other artwork. Quite good breakfast. Free parking.
No restaurant services on Sunday except breakfast. Only adult bicycles available. No family rates available (second room on lower rate). Location is a bit remote from Helsinki center if using public transport. No air-conditioning.
