Les and Pete maintain the property themselves, and clearly put a great deal of time and effort into it. It was exceptionally clean and tidy, everything in good repair. They took time to ensure I was settled in properly, even contacting me when there appeared to be a mistake on the booking rather than assume ‘it will be okay’; this was excellent customer service.

Very disappointed with the standard of furnishings and cleanliness.
The property needs refurbishment and a deep clean.
I am not one to leave a review but hopefully this will prevent
Others from making the same mistake.
I have attached photos which speak for themselves.

Homeleigh was exactly what we needed for our stay: clean, comfy and an excellent location. At such short notice, the owner was welcoming and friendly, and provided us with some really useful information about the area and parking. Within our visit she got in touch to make sure everything was ok, which was a really kind thing to do.
Some of the decor was a bit out of date or mismatched, but this really did not impact on our stay whatsoever so is certainly no complaint.

We came on a last-minute family holiday to the Isle of Wight, and had a wonderful time. the apartment is amazingly located, right in the centre of Ryde on a lovely street. the apartment was beautifully clean,
the host could not have been more helpful and the kids loved the bunk beds.
Thank you!

I feel like I was robbed. The property was absolutely inadequate and not fit for purpose!! From an unwired cooker in the kitchen to mould and stained toilet seat in the bathroom, this property was a complete dump and health hazard!!Please be warned not to be ripped off by this landlady and her scam.
Being mugged in broad daylight by people masquerading as air b&b landlords via booking.com, who should remove this property from their listings.

It had a roof and the wifi was good.
When we arrived the owner was parked in the only parking the place had, so we had to park far away in a parking area and then drag our heavy bags all the way to the apartment. The owner then tried to put us in this tiny room, apartment 3, luckily she left and we were able to get the key and put our things in the correct apartment. When you go out the front door of the building you are met with a little street full of garbage, it was everywhere, bags and bags of it, there were no bins. it was gross but once you have fought your way through the garbage, there is a big street with tons of quaint little shops with all sorts of things and then it is not far to the beach and a public swimming pool and then there was the place where the hovercraft comes and goes from, so that is quite interesting. The apartment looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks and the toilet stank up the whole apartment every time you flushed, it was so bad that we couldn't eat in the apartment, we had to go out to eat for every meal. The utensils were ridiculous, there were no knives and forks, the teaspoons were all rusted and the big spoon and spatula handles had broken off (see pic below). There were two fridge freezers and no dishwasher, there were kitchen appliances there that were useless and the microwave was half-melted (see pic below). The bed had springs that bore into your back at night and the duvet looked old and stained. When we opened up the sofa bed there was a huge collection of spider webs behind it that must have been there for years. The shower door was broken so you had to maneuver it very carefully or it will fall on you, it is very dangerous. It was so filthy and stinky that the second the owner left, after trying to fix the broken tv, we went out to the shop to get cleaning supplies and a few bottles of Oust odour illuminator and air freshener. It was really not worth the money and if we had somewhere else to go, we would have left immediately

The bed was comfortable and the linen and towels were clean and fresh.
Plenty of hot water.
It was in town so there were noisy people in the street at night and someone dumped a sofa outside overnight.
It was a little tired and could do with freshening up.
It did have a damp aroma in the flat.

I stayed for 2 nights in the Seafront apartment from 26 August 2021. The room has windows in two directions which makes for a very light room. It is a beautifully furnished, tastefully decorated and comfortable room with a tremendous en suite bathroom.
There’s enough great restaurants (such as Ryder’s Tandoori, Heron and Ryde Thai) in Ryde that make the town a really enjoyable gastronomic experience.
There are many superlatives one could use in describing Homeleigh Apartments but the thing I would pick out is that the stay is about you and not so much about the great features that are offered.
Lesley and her husband are focused on giving their guests a wonderful experience. I can’t praise them enough.
absolutely nothing

Landlady was very helpful and welcoming.

I liked the layout of the apartment. I liked that it had towels abs
The quality of the apartment could be improved. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, the flooring was precarious, the fridgefreezer was broken and my milk became frozen in it.

Close to the town centre.
I was not made aware before hand that the sofa bed for our children to sleep on was going to be placed inside a tiny kitchen up against a wall with Cold hard floors, there by far not enough space, Inhabitable and surely a health hazard if a fire had of started??
The house itself smelt of damp, the bedding was bad quality, the neighbours were VERY loud, we were woken both night by shouting/ banging, to be honest it was like sleeping in a YMCA bedsit.

There really wasnt anything we liked about this apartment. I guess it was good that the tv worked?
I have never written a bad review of anything in my life but considering I paid the best part of £500 for 4 nights, this was pretty abysmal. It stank of alcohol throughout. The bathroom was basically a cupboard and the shower only ran freezing cold. The pipes were blocked so the shower filled up and nearly flooded every time. A random puddle of water was found behind the toilet. We didn’t even touch anything in the kitchen because it smelt so bad and looked like it hadn’t been cleaned.
We weren’t even allowed into the apartment until I got a text message from the owner. It was so unbelievably unprofessional of the owners to be there, let alone to run through all the things the cleaner didn’t do.
Everything was old and dingy. Absolutely not worth the money.

Amazing location, specially for someone who isn’t driving
We had flat 1,2 and 3. Absolutely disgusting. Would give 0/10 for cleanliness of the place.
Awful smell as soon as you enter
Mouldy fridge
The floors didnt feel clean
We were asked to leave the bedding out when departing. The mattress cover had a massive stain in flat 1, looked like it hasn’t been washed in years.Flat 2 had hole right in the middle.
Bottom line- only stay here if you are looking forward to a very unpleasant stay

It was a little cramped for 2 adults and 2 children with not a lot of clothing storage
