Welcome to Arcadia on Carrington - a grand country home that is stylishly furnished with collectables and artwork. Arcadia on Carrington is close to bushwalks, escarpment views, renowned restaurants and the Katoomba town centre.
There are four bedrooms at Arcadia:

Bedroom 2: 1 x Queen bed
Bedroom 3: A larger room, 1 x Queen + 1 x Single beds with ensuite bathroom
Bedroom 4: Queen bed, with French door leading out onto the front verandah
There is also a large main bathroom with shower and spa bath, so 3 bathrooms total in the house. Arcadia on Carrington is a stylish and comfortable retreat, particularly for four (4) couples with plenty of space.
There is a combined living/dining/kitchen great room at the back of the house, which looks out over an established garden. Gather by the gas log fire in winter or on cool evenings, or open the French doors at the back in warmer weather and enjoy the scents and sights in the garden.
A recent addition is the Safari Bar, a separate entertainment room in the garden which opens onto the outdoor dining and BBQ area under the wisteria. A feature is the Bluetooth enabled "jukebox" which can link to your play lists or your phone or via internet radio.
Always a warm welcome - in wintertime, we turn the heating on before your arrival so you enter a warm and cozy house. All of the comfortable beds are equipped with doonas, electric blankets and blankets, plus extra throws in each room.
A day at Arcadia on Carrington: Coffee in the sunroom or on the front veranda - explore the nearby walks or Echo Point with lunch. In the afternoon, take a book to the sunroom for quiet solace. Relax, gather in the Great Room to socialise or dine. Cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen with dinner at the dining room table or perhaps a barbeque under the wisteria in the garden. At sunset, take a bottle of champagne just up to the crest of Carrington Ave, sit on the park bench and admire the ageless escarpment turning golden ochre under the setting sun.
Arcadia on Carrington is conveniently located between the town centre and Echo Point. Adjacent to Prince Henry Cliff Top Walk (Leura Cascades to Echo Point) and an easy stroll to two top class restaurants, The Rooster and Solitary.

This house was amazing! We were so happy to find this place in Katoomba. All the amenities we could ask for and the kids loved it. So much better than staying at a hotel and with a group of seven, this turned out to be perfect. Thank you for offering such a wonderful place to stay. We will truly regret leaving but thank you for making our stay so relaxing. (Paul, Dec 2014)
An absolutely beautiful house and garden. We could not have asked for anything more. Great for the kids as well as for the adults. We will be back in a heartbeat when we visit the Blue Mountains next time. (Blake, Oct 2014)
What a wonderful home to spend our days away from Sydney. Arcadia on Carrington gives new meaning to the term 'self-contained'. We enjoyed our time here and can't think of anything that we needed that we couldn't find. It is such a beautiful home. The close proximity to walks, tourist attractions and shops made our stay. We loved walking through the garden - the sounds, the bursts of colour and lovely fragrances were delightful. We will definitely recommend Arcadia on Carrington to our family and friends and look forward to visiting again ourselves one day. (Kathryn, Oct 2014)

Excellent home and very well set up. Only comment is that alarm was not operating properly and dishwasher needs new tray wheels. Overall very warm and comfortable. .

We loved the property and will be going back to stay again. The property is exactly as the profile states however there were far more books to choose from than in the pics. Very warm with the heating and the gas fire and there was even some goodies left for us on arrival, which were very much appreciated.

Lovely place, perfect for us, did not stay long enough to take full advantage of outdoor area. Maybe another time.
Minor irritating problem with drop bolt on french door from living area to outside.

We had a lovely girls’ weekend away at Arcadia on Carrington - a beautiful location and the house was clean and comfortable. Much more like staying at a friend’s place than staying at a hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Grand House in Katoomba
Lovely large house in a very pretty garden. Masses of crockery for entertaining. However, it was a little bit cluttered and made me think of an antique shop. Kingsize bed had much too much bounce.

Fantastic House
We had a lovely stay at Arcadia on Carrington. There was plenty of everything you could want for in the kitchen and bathrooms. Well located and very homely. The only negative is that the bed in one of the rooms with the ensuite needs changing. The mattress was very soft and dipped in the middle. This was the single beds put together, this was not comfortable. On the whole a very pleasant stay.

Great first impressions
Our group of eight had a lovely weekend recently in the Blue Mountains. However, some aspects of this home were under par with what we experienced. We certainly didn't consider it value for money.
One of the single beds was broken and on an incline. A wardrobe in the smallest bedroom had a broken door and couldn't be used. Another bedroom didn't have a wardrobe at all! There was a sewer problem too; if raw sewage comes up through the floor of the main bathroom, it isn't connected to the note on the toilet (like we thought), but is an 'emergency' and the owners should be notified asap! Have never encountered this problem - ever!
The kitchen is very well equipped and the location was within walking distance to Echo Point and Katoomba shopping precinct. The sunrise from the front of the house is magic.
We will return to the Mountains next year, but not to Arcadia on Carrington.

Its a very beautiful property, very well proportioned and oodles of character
Its just a really nice property that will suit a whole range of groups. 4 hugs bedrooms with 2 x en suite. Awesome garden, BBQ area and fire pit plus a separate indoor bar area with a jukebox!! All this and 30 seconds across the rod from the most spectacular views!!
Will book again in a heartbeat!!

Great location opposite the Bush with lovely views. Large and roomy for 4 friends on a weekend away.
Great space with many spots to sit in and get away so great for a group travelling together. The garden was untidy and overgrown and the outside of the housw needs some TLC. Nice touch with music playing on arrival. Eclectic mix of artwork , nice feel to the place.

Beautiful country- style house and garden
We were 3 couples away for a long weekend. We particularly loved the extremely well- equipped kitchen and open plan kitchen/living/ dining area with gas fireplace. And it was located close to beautiful bush walks. We would love to return. The only downside were the double bed and twin beds which our friends found all dipped in the middle. They suggested replacement of spring based with more modern bases and new mattresses.

A great weekend away
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Arcadia on Carrington . The home is spacious and very welcoming. The kitchen is fully stocked with heaps of glassware, pots and plates that we didn't go out for breakfast or a dinner one night. The rooms were immaculately cleaned and it felt like a home not just an lodge.. A great place for a few friends or mums to get together for the weekend .
Love it !!!!
