La Villette - A Classic Blue Mountain Retreat
La Villette is a charming Blue Mountains cottage located in the heart of Katoomba. Just a stone's throw from Scenic World and a quick 1-minute drive to Katoomba Mall, this home offers easy access to a variety of fantastic shops, restaurants, and cafes. Accommodating up to 9 guests, La Villette is the perfect mountain retreat for families or groups of friends looking to unwind and create lasting memories together.
Space & Comfort for Everyone
With two spacious living areas, this thoughtfully renovated cottage allows guests to enjoy time together while also having space to relax independently. The house is equipped with central heating and cooling, ensuring year-round comfort.
Informal Living Room: Cozy up in the informal lounge, complete with a Smart TV and free-to-air channels.
Formal Lounge: On the other side of the house, the formal lounge features a wood-burning fireplace and another Smart TV with free-to-air access, offering a perfect spot to relax by the fire.
Indoor & Outdoor Dining
Whether you prefer dining indoors or out, La Villette has you covered. The indoor dining room boasts a large wooden table that seats up to 8, while the expansive deck offers an outdoor dining area for 6, along with a quaint café-style table for two.
For those who enjoy cooking, the fully renovated kitchen is well-equipped with modern appliances, including a fridge, oven, cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee machine. The deck is also home to a gas BBQ, perfect for outdoor meals.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
The house offers 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, all on a single level. Each bedroom is furnished with hotel-quality linens and electric blankets to keep you cozy during the cooler months.
Bedroom 1-3: Queen-sized beds
Bedroom 4: Bunk bed with a double on the bottom and a single on top
One of the bathrooms has been newly renovated in 2024, while the second remains in its original yet tidy condition. Fresh towels and essential toiletries are provided.
Additional Amenities
Internal laundry with a new washing machine and dryer.
Complimentary portacot and highchair for families traveling with young children (please bring your own portacot linens).
Parking
The driveway in front of the house accommodates one car, with additional free street parking available (subject to availability).
