Room nice and clean and decorated well. Didn't have breakfast or dinner.
The only slight gripe was the bed that wasn't very comfortable. To hard.
4.1
Price was good. facilities were good.
The shower had very little pressure. The wifi was intermittent. There was no toilet paper in my room (but existed in the other 2 rooms I booked for my colleagues.

Bathroom too small. Water pressure for shower was extremely poor

Just a brilliant hotel and staff

There's lots of free parking on site, which is unusual these days. The room was a good size and has a nice feel to it, and the bathroom is clean and looks recently updated. Breakfast was good value and the selection of fresh fruit on the buffet was better than provided by many more expensive places. Overall the hotel wasn't expensive, and we felt we got good value for money
The shower was really weak - in the end we used the shower attachment in the bath rather than running around to try to get wet in the shower cubicle. The electrical sockets are limited - 1 of the 4 by the desk didn't work, and there isn't one anywhere near the bed, which is dominated by very elderly and obsolete audio equipment. The hotel seems to be more of a venue for social events (3 weddings in 2 days that we stayed) than solo travellers.

easy to access Sheffield without being central.
Rooms clean with plenty of room. Staff friendly.
Went in the bar at 9pm for a drink only to be told it was closing in 20 mins. Would have liked to have stayed longer to relax and finish the night off.

Great location for visiting Chatsworth House & Hardwick Hall. Superb, spacious room with polite & friendly staff. The cooked breakfast was really good.
We were in the dining room a good hour or more before the end of breakfast service but each day the pastries had run out & we were told there wouldn't be any more put out which isn't great if you only want the continental breakfast

cleanliness, friendliness and nothing was a bother for the staff.

Good size room .
The bed was a little small for two as use to a king bed at home. Larger bed would of been better.

The food in the restaurant is great and the staff work very hard to make it an enjoyable experience.
The noisey doors ...and bit noisy from outside.

Staff were very welcoming. Evening meal was excellent as was the service.
We booked a double room but the bed was a small double with an additional single bed. The double mattress was uncomfortable as you could feel the springs. The pressure of the shower was very slow but temperature was good.
A good selection was available for breakfast, but on both mornings within 30 mins of breakfast commencing cossiants and pastries had run out. The staff were as helpful as possibly but could do with more staff.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable, overlooking the gardens of the hotel. There was plenty of car parking space in the grounds of the hotel.
We were disappointed at the service in the restaurant. We had booked in advance but our table was not ready for us at the appointed time. We had to wait about 20 minutes before our order was taken, and then a further 50 minutes before our meal was served. To be fair, the food when it did arrive was good: piping hot and tasty. The staff were friendly and apologised for the delays but only after I had pointed out how long we had waited. Breakfast was served from 8am the following morning but, when we arrived at 8:15 there were no rolls or croissants available on the self service table. When we asked about that, we were told that the kitchen staff hadn't finished baking, and we got the impression that we were being unreasonable for asking.

nothing it was exactly what we expected

The location as was ideal for visiting family.
My brother has a diagnosis of autism. There was a fab deal on in the pub/restaurant area, so instead of dining out he made enquiries on two separate occasions and was told there was no need to book. We then proceeded to the bar later on that evening and there was not a table large enough for us to dine at. Furthermore, I found the bar staff to be rude towards my brother, who due to his communication skills does struggle within this area and I was left feeling upset with the way in which he was in my view judged and spoken to by a member of the bar team.
