nice area . nice hotel . comfortable
food very disappointing and poor dinner expensive . Would have been happy to pay large fee for hot tub but thought it was free - no warning or visibility of fee.

This is an expensive high quality hotel. At the very least when there is snow and Ice all around the hotel it would be safer for guests if they did some salt spreading? It was very dangerous. I also thought the full fry was a wee bit small. I’ve stayed in many places in Ballycastle and they generally are a lot better and much more

Liked that is was served. Also liked fruit and yoghurt being served on a cake stand on the table
The fan wasn’t working in the bathroom and window blind needed attention
4.5
stunning location with a beautiful view. Delicious food served in a very relaxing atmosphere and no pressure to move on from our table when finished. great music in the evening
the weather!!! But the view was still good despite the rain!

Very good service, food was nice.
Bar could have been a little warmer, evening staff were not very attentive, 3 persons stood behind the bar for a good 20mins and didn't bother to collect glasses or take orders. Eventually I gave up and went up to the bar and ordered from there.

Great location lovely stafff and decor
A bit over priced for what it was but lovely

The breakfast was the best I have ever had the choice and beautiful display on table when u came down and the sea view looking out the window was really breath taking. The staff went above and beyond what they were expected to do.
Nothing I could have stayed on for few more days and the children aswell, can't wait to go back.

breakfast was very good and the views from the restaurant and bar were fabulous. special mention for the white chocolate and raspberry scones we had in the afternoon with a glass of prosecco. A very calming hotel
the shower is large but it doesn't have a grab rail if you aren't too steady on your feet you could slip
4.5
Breakfast- amazing and the views from the bar/restaurant

lovely rooms and facilities
would have liked better atmosphere in the bar.

nice setting

The layout of the hotel is a nice design. The view. The dining room very comfortable and beautiful. Seems it's a new hotel and getting on its feet. Has a lot of potential but it was kat down by a number of things. I'd not go back because the treatments were not good enough. Love the spa and outdoor area and jacuzzi but didn't find the treatments professional clinically trained. Dinner was nice. More options would be good. Fish by the sea more options would have been nice. Like halibut. Hake.
Building work. The reception is very open. Hard to get by on your robe. The Key card didn't work 2 days in a row and only issued one card and needed 2. The lift is slow. The bedroom was beside a closet room. Was open all the time. Could see left over food plates. Staff would congregate there and was intimidating to get back into my room. Wearing a Robe about is a little self conscious. Room was nice finishings. Put clothing in wardrobe and a lot of dust came onto my clothes. Window view was nice but the blind was completely broken and raggy and no way to enjoy the view and sea air after the spa kept the room too dark. My single bed was very uncomfortable. Was too small. TV didn't work. We had to arrange batteries upon arrival. Hairdryer was broken. Bathroom was nice. Shower was very weak. Broken round shelf. Not enough shelving or hooks for 2 People. Not enough toilet roll supplied. Contained shower washes a disappointment. Hard to use, awkward nozzle. Spa was ok. Jacuzzi was dirty. The treatments were not that good. Very basic. Beautiful rooms and spa but treatments were not clinically as good as should be. Reflexology should be built into the foot massage. And proper trained body massages too. Having to have set times for the thermal was disappointing. Limited spa appointments nearly had us cancelling the trip. Dinner reservations were limited too. Spa needs more marketing around clinically proven treatments. Or charge cheaper. Very light headed after treatment going back to the room was difficult after drinking prosecco. And on return my key didn't work I had to wait 20 mins till I was ok to go to reception which there was a que and I had a robe on, having a second reception for residents in robes might be an idea.
