The apartment was warm after a 10 hour train ride and it was raining heavily as I walked from the station to the apartment(about 10 mins) it was so welcome. To grab a cup of coffee and sit in the warmth before unpacking and settling in.
The archway seems to be used as a shelter for people to light cigarettes. I even had a couple of the woman and a man shelter a few minutes whilst they had a dispute with another person on their mobile.

The property looked even better in person than in the pictures. The location was great, right in the town centre and close to amenities. The parking space was incredibly useful so overall a really great stay.

Well appointed-lovely design touches and nice welcoming touches like shortbread and water. Despite the location it was extremely quiet during our stay.
The parking was a little interesting.

Lovely characterful themed apartment in the centre of St Austell. It was wonderful to hear the church bells around the corner ringing out for Easter Sunday. Well equipped with plenty of kitchen equipment and a TV with various streaming services. Would definitely stay again.

The flat felt very open and spaceous which enabled us to feel alot more relaxed during our stay. The naval/ port theme throughout the flat gave it a great personal and homely touch as well as geared us both up to visit Charlestown, a stones throw away from the flat.
The hosts were amazing at letting us know prior to arrival how to access the building which was a huge life saver for my wifes bladder upon arrival on such a long journey. The hosts were also able to very quickly replace a broken microwave with a brand new replica of the original; this might not seem like alot to most but it was a pretty big lifesaver for the next days dinner plans.
Upon arrival we were also greeted with some local biscuits, cold water in the fridge, a sheet of instructions to use the heaters and recommendations for the local area. This made us both feel incredibly welcome amd kicked off our honeymoon to a great start.
All ammenities were available also, from iron and boards, cups, plates, bowls, mugs, pans, trays, the lot. Which was a huge help in chosing some meals to stay in and cook with.
The SatNav stopped at the beginning of the curve for the road and this led us to panic a little bit upon arrival (mostly due to my wifes tiny bladder), but just continuing the road will get to the destination. This is not the fault of the hosts though but an issue with Google Maps, thought it would be worth mentioning.

Spotlessly clean flat with an ambience of total silence. The bed was really comfortable. There was no shortage of hot water for washing and showers etc.

The decor and design of the space was lovely. Very clean and well maintained. The communication from the hosts was fast and informative. Not far from shops
The building was quite cold overnight. The other apartment's surrounding were quite noisy. Particularly the one above which meant we were woken up a few times
