Cheap stay at Skiathos

The owner was really nice and helpfull all the time.

Loved and will recommend

Denis was so helpful in every way and my room was cleaned everyday. Very quiet too which was vital as I was working. Would thoroughly recommend. Going next year.

Nevertheless nice stay for a good price, maybe better for short-term stay, so that you don’t mind the noise and humidity

Perfect location, Denis was very helpful and always there when we needed anything. Over all nice stay for a good price.

You can hear every vehicle from the street where the window is placed, it is very noisy. The room and the kitchen (including drawers with kitchenware) are quite humid, it is necessary to have the window opened every time possible. We would appreciate changing the bin in the bathroom (containing the toilet paper) everyday, even during the weekends. Some things in our room did not work, Denis changed and repaired them at once, but it would be better to change these things after a while of using them, not to want until the problem comes.

Excellent location and host

The room was clean and large, offering also a kitchenette and a fridge. The location is excellent - just two minutes from the main street, easy to reach also from both bus stops no.3 and no.4. Denis was an amazing host - offered us a lot of info, food recommendation, arranged us a taxi for the airport in the last day and even offered us a souvenir. His cats are also very cute :)

Since our room was at the ground floor, facing the street, there was some noise from the scooters and the people in the mornings.

Nice garden apartment walking distance to Skiathos center.

Big room, comfy beds, equipped with bathroom, kitchenette and terrace with garden access. Very nice garden. Very efficient AC. The host was kind, organizez our taxi from and to airport, gave us tips for trips and even an umbrella. Location is very quiet, but very close to the center. Not particularly modern, but really ok. Megali Ammos beach at walking distance.

A bit old furniture, noisy doors, damaged sink. Difficult to park the car around, but I guess that's normal. All in all much more pros than cons.

Lovely holiday, skiathos town is a good location for airport, ferries base's.Good choice of restaurants and bars. I loved getting lost in the old town.

Weather, but I was a bit earlier than the last time I invited. Plus I missed tavernas on the northwest coast, which were still closed

Solo traveller

Location in relation to Skiathos town. The owner is extremely helpful and provided me with great information for my stay.

As I was on the street side, there was some noise at night from scooters but there are options for garden rooms.

excellent service , very clean and great value for money

property is in a great location , just a few minutes walk from Main Street but a quiet street. Dennis the own is amazing , very helpful and treats everyone like family .We were a group of elderly ladies and the staff went out of their way to accommodate us and make sure we had all we needed . Accommodation is a short walk to all the restaurants and shops also to the bus stop and harbor . we are going to book it again next year

Great location, easy stay.

The location was fantastic, easy access to the main strip into town, plus a few markets and the waterfront. We accidentally took the long way to the beach the first time, but found our way back on the faster route. This isn't the best location for the best swimming beaches. We drove out across the island to visit other beaches which were much nicer. The host was very attentive, always popping up anytime that we came out the door. It was nice and quiet! We appreciated having the fridge in the room, but didn't use any of the other kitchen supplies because there wasn't a food prep space or a sink other than the bathroom one.

I didn't read carefully after applying the parking filter. There is no affiliated parking, but we were able to find close parking in September. Not sure what it would have been like during the height of tourist season in August.

I had a brilliant stay in Skiathos and Skiathos House. I’ve been many times before but it’s the first time I’ve stayed a

Skiathos House is ideally situated in a backstreet of the town, not very far off of Papadiamantis Street. I had a family room on the ground floor at the rear of the building looking out from my balcony onto a petite green garden. There is also white patio tables and chairs for the residents to enjoy this area. Denis the owner is a great host, meeting you on arrival and arranging a taxi and being there at my departure. The room has everything I needed at no extra cost. Air con, ironing board and iron, safe, a kitchen with plenty of utensils and equipment. toaster, kettle, food blender, etc. Denis offered beach towels should I need them. I took him up on this offer after leaving mine on a boat trip.

great find in skiathos town

the garden rooms are so calm and lovely, the location is wonderful, just behind the Main Street coming from the port. gorgeous shops and restaurants around the corner. Denis, the owner, looked after us really well. the rooms are spacious and well equipped.

the bathrooms are a little dated a basic but exceptionally clean so no complaints.

Superb choice for stay in Skiathos, well run & close to all amenities.

Room only but equipped with hair dryer, crockery, cutlery,frappe whisk, kettle. Denis( proprietor)was most helpful & went out of his way to provide anything you might need. Even handed out a brolly, when rain was expected. Room service excellent. Most comfy beds I have had in Greeceafter 35 years travelling there. Wi - fi good. Rooms on to garden , very pleasant, no privacy in front room on small side street. Very well located for town, beach & harbour. Considering central location, very quiet. Very secure. Keys to room, front door & personal safe.

Fresh towels daily but a bit hard. Front room directly onto street.

Very comfortable friendly stay.

Denis couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment was in a great position for the town and bus stop. We liked having such a good size balcony overlooking the garden. The rooms were cleaned every day with fresh bedding every other day. Will be definitely be returning.

The bathroom could have been updated with an overhead shower.

A great little place, in the centre of everything

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen with everything you need, tv, plug socket next to bed, fast hot shower, rooms cleaned everyday. Service was exceptionally good and Denis really cares so much about his guests, it’s like a home from home!

There’s nothing I didn’t like about Skiathos House and I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommended gem in the centre of town!

Is Denis the best host for a great guest house in Skiathos?

Just chilled out, and relaxing, loved the simple roof terrace with the views. I'd go out in the middle of the night and sit.... No one can really see you. You can watch the world. Nice kitchenette. Aircon. It all worked. Actually we came for a night and stayed for a week.

There was nothing not to like. Denys the perfect host, helpful but not intrusive. Great town location, and we felt very comfortable. However we are easy to please, and we enjoyed the top floor apartment with all round terrace

Fabulous find in Skiathos Town

Fabulous location for Skiathos Town. Denis the owner was a perfect host. Beach towels and parasols were offered. Iron , ironing board were also provided in the room. The room was spotlessly cleaned everyday. Lovely little garden at the back of the property for guest use.

No negative comments.

Great hospitality, Denis was very helpful in giving us recommendations for different places to visit and eat in and they were spot on. I would recommend with both hands - great location, the room was clean and the care of the owner was amazing.

If perfection exists, this is it!

Everything, very friendly staff, nice rooms and very comfortable. Free upgrade because of low season, location close to the main street of the small city. A lot of useful tips to make sure we had a good time on the island. Just perfect!

Shower was a bit small
