Freundliches Hotel

Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Freundliche und Familiäre Atmosphäre im Hotel. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr zentral gelegen. Wir konnten kostenlos neben dem Hotel parken. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und modern. Und es war alles sehr liebenswert eingerichtet (auch wenn die Aussenfassade des Hotels vielleicht ein bisschen abschreckt). Am Abend unserer Ankunft haben wir ausserdem die Sauna genutzt, die wir für uns alleine hatten.

Obwohl auf Nachfrage alle Informationen zur Sauna gegeben wurden, war es zuvor nicht ersichtlich, dass die Sauna (kostenlos) genutzt werden kann. Ich vermute, wenn das deutlicher beschrieben werden würde, dass es auch zu höheren Nutzung und vielleicht das Hotel noch weiter aufwerten würde. Ein anderer Punkt, wofür das Hotel wahrscheinlich nichts kann aber schade ist: Durch einen Wasserschaden gab es im Hotel selbst kein Frühstück (Der Ersatz beim Hotel Jokmokk war in Ordnung aber leider nicht so gut). Und wir hätten gerne das eigene Frühstück probiert. Dennoch wissen wir den Ersatz sehr zu schätzen und hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt.

Very good anyhow.

The breakfast was good but the nice interior was the best! Very relaxing. We also used the spa in the basement and were very pleased.

Your staff was slightly uninterested in serving guests.

Location is picture perfect. The hotel ambience is very warm and welcoming. Loved the decor and food in the restaurant.

Had booked a double bed but instead got two single beds, and that too in opposite corner of the the room

Superb

The vibe of the hotel makes you feel at home, the staff are very friendly - Annelie was a great host, always smiling ! Rooms were comfortable, Sauna was the best. Although it had breakfast included, there is a microwave in the hotel which was a plus to prepare for lunch or dinner. Lounge is a great place to meet new people and enjoy a movie on the big screen together ☺️

Very cosy atmosphere with fireplace in the lobby, nice interior design, unlimited tea, coffee and hot chocolate and cookies. Perfect place to stay during long cold winter days in Jokkmokk. The breakfast was very good quality, fresh with wide variety of choice.

The room was poorly isolated from the corridor noise. Our double bed was made out of two seperate beds what made them drift away.

A lovely hotel in the heart of Jokkmokk, enjoyed our stay.

The property was very nice, with warm fires and cosy areas to sit.

We were disappointed to find out there was no evening meal available during Christmas although when booking it stayed an evening meal available during winter.

So many things included: great breakfast, sauna, tea/coffee/water/biscuits all day, dinner... Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful design of hotel. Room spacious. Easy to walk distances from here.

Very good

The breakfast was nice and the location of the hotel is perfect for day trips to different national parks. We also enjoyed the possibility to get hot drinks at any time in the common area.

The bathroom was very small and there was no wardrobe in the room.

Okay, but wouldn’t rush back!

Very nice interior - outside looked dated and worn out.

On arrival the girls on reception was very helpful and friendly. All other staff were rude and unfriendly.

My Vote for Best Hotel in Sweden.

Everything about the property was amazing. Amalie was incredible in all the care she puts into being the owner. The breakfast she makes is the top breakfast I have EVER eaten at a hotel I stayed at. The room was clean. Shower was excellent. There is a hot coffee or hot chocolate machine near the front desk that is for use all hours of the day. If I was staying in Northern Sweden longer. Hotel Akerlund would be the place I would choose, Always. I give this my vote for best Swedish Hotel.

Nicely renovated hotel. The outside should not stop you, the interior is well decorated with Scandinavian spirit. Simple but very comfortable room. Restaurant area welcomes you for breakfast. Too bad it is closed for diner but really hope it will open again soon. Have a look at the wooden parts of the building. The hotel has an history you can follow through the pictures exposed. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. A good address.

Lovely stay in Jokkmokk

Very cozy hotel! Loved the decoration of this place. Sauna and dinner were included in the price. Also good location, not far from the bus station.

Our room was located just above the restaurant, we heard the music and voices in the evening

This is my 3rd stay and I will use the hotel again and again.

The breakfast is fresh and varied. Excellent value. The owner is extremely accommodating, she helped me out by driving me to an event and picking me up at no cost. The entire staff made me very welcome.
