The location is perfect: just few minutes walk from the castle. The owner is extremely nice and welcoming. Very good rooms and breakfast.

Great Central Location, up the hill you walk to get to Reichsburg Castle. Host was super friendly and the breakfast was amazing

the person who runs the stay is very helpful and is extremely active. i couldn’t quite figure out how to get the keys out but she opened the main door for us and hung the key inside.
it is close to the city center and also to the castle, the main attraction of this place.
all amenities that you normally expect to find in a hotel room exists here.
the toilet was pretty narrow. this in itself is not a problem but since the toilet is narrow, it only fits a small wash basin and it is difficult to contain the spill water to the basin itself. after repeated usage, the spill water makes the floor really wet (the carpet on the floor becomes wet).
strangely we didn’t find a trash can in the room!
there is parking available beside the house but if you come by a large car, it is quite difficult to park the car in the narrow space. there maybe some confusion in the translation as well, as i understood from the property website that free parking was available for all guests but was charged anyway at check out.
another thing about translation, as the english instructions to open the key box talked about a “door” and i misinterpreted it as the door into the property while what was meant was the lid of the key box. for most, this may be a non issue but if you are not used to key boxes, then maybe something to be aware of.

Having to walk uphill. No lifts.

Great rooms in a great location, right next to one authentic wine cellar. Great staff. Excellent price/quality rate.
I would like to have more warm food options for breakfast, not just boiled eggs. Something like sosiges/omelette/smashed eggs would be great.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Cochem, great host and a exceptionally clean, comfortable B&B. Fantastic breakfast - we will definitely book again. Thank you 🤗

The room was charming and very comfortable, and it was in a great location very close to the main part of town (easy to walk to). Though there wasn't really a central lobby or reception area, the host was very helpful and accommodating. A lovely little guesthouse in Cochem!

Excellent breakfast choice. Good support in ordering taxi. Thank you

Great location and very nice room.
CASH ONLY! No credit cards accepted. This is 2022 and with COVID the past 2 years, I was surprised by this. I guess it's in the fine print. Upon checkin, the owner just gave us the keys and asked us what time we wanted breakfast. No mention of the cash only payment. I left in the middle of the night due to illness and the owner called me the next day demanding cash payment and that she already called the police. Fortunately, I live within 2 hours of the property. I guess I should have just woke her up in the middle of the night and paid her then. Personally, a property that doesn't accept credit cards should not be listed on Booking.com. Due to this, I won't be back.

The host is very friendly and welcoming. The room was very neat and well maintained. We stayed in a 3 person room which had clean linen and towels. We were served delicious breakfast in the morning with a couple of options. The guest house is located at a prime location which is nearby for shopping and sightseeing. It is definitely worth your consideration if you are visiting Cochem. The host speaks a little bit of English but just enough to get along. Car parking is available in the region in an affordable rate.

The landlord/owner was very nice and serviceminded. (Old school)
The bed pillows were too flat for us. A challenge to reach by car through very narrow streets in a hilly pedestrian area.

it’s a bit steep getting there!

Fairly priced and in the old town beneath the castle. Frau Pellny speaks English and is quite accommodating.
Shower is a little small.

Delicious and generous breakfast, beautifully displayed.
Walls were thin. I heard all conversations in the hallway and the rooms next door.

Excellent pension/guest house centrally located on the way to the Castle in Cochem. The owner is friendly and very welcoming and local to the area so can recommend things to do. The room I was given was spacious and had the facilities that I needed. Breakfasts are very plentiful and lots of selection. You can request different things as needed. You'll arrive as a guest and leave as a friend.
Nothing really, I should have asked for a different pillow, but all in no problems at all.

Perfect location! On arrival we were met by the owner who was so kind. The room was absolutely spotless. It’s apparent the owner takes pride in providing the best experience possible. Looking for a comfortable bed? look no further. The breakfast was fantastic, and was included in the price of the stay. I highly recommend Pension Haus Andreas.

The room was very clean and the staff has been really nice.
Although the location was great, the parking was on a steep hill and was not included in the price.
