Superb

View, size and position.

Cold water at the swimming pool. Today there is a way to warm the water with ecologic and for almost no charge.

Superb

Pool and facilities very good. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Apartment spacious for a family of four. Very close to all amenities. Climate was great and comfortable, night time breezy and cool definitely need to wear long sleeves at night. The town of Luz is beautiful with stunning views of the beach and sea.

Was not informed that new apartment complex were being built behind the apartment we were staying in. Work commenced at 8am each morning only day they didn't build was Sunday. Complained a few times the issue was not solved nor were we offered alternative accommodation. Early starts each morning at 8am did not make for a relaxing holiday for us and the kids. Small walk to pool facilities was fine during the day, but at night the path had no lights needed to use flashlight. Balcony and view slightly disappointing.

Nice stay at Luz

The apartment was close to the beach and to the pool. With walking distance to all facilities (groceries, restaurants, etc...). The staff were very helpful and very nice. We had trouble finding the location at check-in, but when we called they came and guided us to the reception. We were also able to check out late which had extra time at the pool. In summary, We could definitely go back.

It is minor but the pool is across the street which means young children can't go by themselves.

We had a lovely stay in Luz just wish it could have been longer

Great staff, fab location, spacious and accommodating but beds to uncomfortable for us

The view was fantastic as was the location. The apartment was large and spacious.

The beds were cheap and uncomfortable and there was no air conditioning.

perfect for a short break.

the pool are and the bar was excellent, clean, the food was really good and the staff friendly and great. The manager/owner was very friendly and put us at ease. The area itself was lovely and clean.

Although it says apartments are not in the pool area, we were unaware it was across a road and then some, no not anywhere near at all, the view was lovely though although noisy a little, it would have been courteous to have a welcome pack of basics for the kitchen and bathroom and maybe a pool towel or more drying towels. i did request a bottom floor a my friend has mobility issues but we did have to go up one floor with stairs which is difficult with luggage. The area is hilly too

Towels not enough but more given when requested. Were a litle worn and old however. No reception on TV but didn't ask as wasn't a real problem. Good selection of music though.Very enjoyable in all

Snack bar was excellent, great food and friendly helpful service. Large clean pool with plenty of sun beds.

Fabulous apartment with stunning views

The Master bedroom and lounge had fabulous views of the pool and sea. The apartment is very well furnished. We arrived later than expected and the hotel staff waited an extra hour for us to check-in which was really appreciated. The pool area is brilliant. Supervision of large beds was excellent. The CAFE with drink and food facilities during the daytime was an added bonus.

There are a few small faults with the apartment. The shutters in the second bedroom didn’t work. A couple of the cushion covers in the lounge could have done with a wash. These are very minor points. And did not impact our stay at all

Exceptional

We booked an apartment with a Seaview. The apartment was spacious and had a huge balcony. It was equipped with Dishwasher, Washing machine, a good sized kitchen, TV, Sound system and also a huge balcony where you can grill. The beach is a 8 minutes walk from the apartment. The only problem we had was the lack of Wifi

Building noise ALL day long with no escape….

Nice hotel and facilities.

Right next to our apartment there was a huge building site with ongoing building noise the entire day from 8 am til 6 pm all weekdays. This was not mentioned on the booking.com site. Right at our arrival we told the staff that we wanted to move out since we didn’t want this noise on our holiday vacation. The hotel would not let us get a refund of the money or just let us pay for the first night of our stay and then move out the next day. And we could not get an apartment further away on the ressort since everything was booked. And booking.com was of absolutely no help in this proces. So we had to stay there for 7 nights with no possibility to sit peacefully at our balcony. That is totally NOT acceptable not to inform guests of this noise issue in advance, so people can decide weather or not they want to spend their summer holiday in building noise……

Fabulous holiday destination

The location is great, the apartment is spacious and well equipped. loved the access to the swimming pool.

it’s important to know that there is no WiFi - only at the pool and that is quite a distance from the house.

fantastic location. great stay and would highly recommend.

lovely area. we felt safe on the second floor and access to pool, beach and long walks and bars was great. nice balcony.

no safe. back door didn’t lock and tv didn’t work. nothing fixed while we were there. no towels provided. or washing up liquid or toilet roll. I would have paid more to have that all in place on arrival.

Pool is huge, clean and has "hemelbedden", ocean view, Luz is beautiful, apartment was close to a great supermarket. The partment was very spacious and everything that we could have wanted was there

Be wary - swimming pool not onsite! Have to cross public roads from apartment

Nothing. We were sold as per images and text) a resort like accommodation with swimming pools and restaurant on the resort. Instead it was an apartment (which we had to get in our car for) in the public municipal area. Not suitable for family’s if you want your kids to wander around safely on the resort. Was a complete mis-sell and we are still pursuing our refund as we rejected the apartment on arrival for reasons stated above. I’d shop elsewhere if you have children. I’ll be putting a video of this on you tube and sharing the link on tripadvisor etc.

Luz is a great please to stay.

The apartment suited our needs with 2 kids.

The manager is a real nightmare and hard to deal with. However the staff at the hotel was incredibly nice and accommodating.

Highly recommended

Really pleasantly surprised. Great location. Apartment was large and really clean. Smart TV. Huge master bedroom with ensuite. We were also given a pass to access all areas including the Garden Club with pool and tapas bar. Would go again (and probably will).

The only remotely negative thing I could say is that it took us 10 mins to figure out how the key worked properly to open the front door, but that was nothing. Oh and the WiFi is an extra charge.
