This house is at an excellent location, getting to the sites we hoped to visit was VERY close and good to navigate. We were able to cross 3 or 4 sites off our list Daily, with plenty of time to enjoy all we chose.
The city market was amazing, restaurants were amazing, and the Beaches were excellent. The Plantation was Heart Wrenching, yet very educational,
We would like to come back, trying to drive 900 miles is hard on these retirees.

Great middle location. Super close to Folly Beach and easy drive on the expressway into downtown Charleston.

This was a wonderful and cozy property for me to stay with my family. We were only five minutes from Folly Beach and was very easy access. Access to downtown Charleston and Mount Pleasant where we did a lot of our touring was also very easy to get to. I would definitely book this again! I did email the host, and never got a response. My question was not critical to my stay so I am not holding that against the property at all!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was nice to have beach chairs/umbrella available. It was an easy drive to Folly Beach. Owners were easy to work with.

Hosts were responsive to all our needs. House is very comfortable and in great location. I lived in Charleston from 1983-86 and my boyfriend lived in Greenville this was our trip to reminisce. We loved it!

The house is in an excellent location, convenient to local shopping, groceries stores and restaurants.
The house's AC system had a problem that was quickly addressed and repaired. The washing machine spin cycle is extremely loud that was heard by the owner and there is rust in the barrel, the dishwasher had roaches in it, and the ice maker in the freezer did not work. The upholstery needs deep cleaning. We would definitely stay here again. We really enjoyed our stay.

House is in a great location. Convenient to Folly Beach & downtown Charleston. Located in a friendly, family-oriented neighborhood. Quiet too. Sofa cushions are worn, uncomfortable for our backs. Light over bathtub needs replacing. Edge of second step down from front porch is soft. Overall, enjoyed our first trip to historic Charleston.

Would definitely stay here again! Loved the location. Property managers were accommodating and replied quickly. Super clean. The only negative thing I could say was that the water heater wasn’t very large, so plan showers accordingly. That is being picky, though. Very, very nice place to stay!

Great house for our family (late 30s and a 7-year-old daughter). We stayed here for 2 nights and the house was a perfect size, a short drive to groceries/restaurants, and was stocked with everything we needed. We would not hesitate to come back again.

Cute, comfy cottage for short-term stays. Very clean and beds are comfortable. Sofas are quite worn and washing machine is noisy, but OK for (6) nights.

Lovely home with everything we needed, in a perfect location near beach but also close to downtown Charleston. Only disappointment was we didn’t see alligator in lake out back, lol!

Very restful and clean. Beds and Pillows were very comfortable. The view and backyard were equally great. Could have used some kitchen linens though.

Clean and loved loved loved the location. Very accessible to everywhere we wanted to go.
Cons
Very low in the dining room and absolutely horrible lighting in bedrooms. Worse in bedroom #2.
1st Step on back porch feels soggy watch your step.
Loved everything else about this place.

We loved our ten day stay here. The house was perfect for one or two couples, very clean, had the basics of what we needed. The neighborhood is very cute and quiet. It's about a five minute drive to folly beach and about 15 minutes to downtown charleston so the location is perfect. There is a grocery store etc across the street and tons of restaurants etc nearby. We loved the downstairs covered patio areas- We saw the alligator twice, so definitely heed the 'no swimming' signs! Very relaxing to hang out and watch the water, the birds, etc.
We would definitely recommend staying here, and would come back for another visit.

We loved the house! It was lovely and cute. Also easy to find and drive to.
It was a very clean and neat and we could tell it was well taken care of. Both bathrooms were nice.
Mattresses we good but the second bedroom master is best.
Something’s we disliked:
We noticed during our stay the master sweet bed was sagging and we to our discovery was broken.
The sheets were unsatisfactory as well. The material of the sheet alone retains too much heat and is not a breathable fabric.
The ice maker was also malfunctioning when we arrived.
The couch in the living room was worn out and uncomfortable.
We also believe the washing machine needs to be tended to. We washed towels and were very concerned with the noises it made.
Despite these flaws we still enjoyed our stay in Folly Beach, and it made us want to go out and enjoy the area.

This property is exactly as it is pictured online. A bonus that is not shown online is the back patio area with outdoor furniture. We sat out here every morning, and enjoyed our morning coffee/tea while watching all of the wildlife the lake behind this property has to offer. The location is amazing, 7 mins to Folly Beach and about 20 mins to downtown Charleston. I would highly recommend this cute and cozy VRBO:)

We had a great experience and would highly recommend this property. There were a couple of minor issues that should be addressed. One toilet won’t flush, and the water pressure in the master bath’s sink is very bad. Everything else was great.

My son and I spent four nights during his Spring Break week. The house is exactly what you see on the site. Clean, comfortable, and in a safe neighborhood. Close to Folly Beach and short drive to downtown Charleston. All the amenities
you need with coffee pot, Keurig, microwave, etc. I worked remotely for two of the days and the internet was great! Only concern was side door did not open, allowing us to enjoy the deck or backyard. Could be a fire hazard, however, to only have one exit. Otherwise, it was a great stay and we would definitely come back and recommend to others.

We were very comfortable and enjoyed the house. We would definitely come back. We felt the door lock wasn’t always reliable, but having a key to use if needed worked. Would have also been nice to have some dressers to unpack in, but understand the two bedrooms were small and that could have been crowded. Beds were very comfortable and all linens were nice. Overall we had a great time!

I’m so impressed with the property and the owners. The pictures don’t do the house justice. It’s beautifully maintained and clean. We found it to be perfect for our needs. It was well stocked with whatever we would need during our stay. We found it to be safe and secure. My son tried his hardest to fish in the pond-it just wasn’t the right time of year. But he had fun!
I will absolutely stay here again. My communication with Lauri was great-responsive and attentive. Well worth staying here and enjoying the Charleston area. It’s a gem! 💎

Wish we could have stayed longer!! The house was very comfortable, with everything we needed.

The property was an absolute welcoming site to walk into. It had all the amenities one needs for in extended stay. We enjoyed coming back after a day of touristing through Charleston, SouthCarolina to a comfortable and clean environment. There is a pond behind the Property and I believe I saw an alligator in there. It was located in an area that wasn't busy, you couldn't relax and fall asleep at night. It is close enough to many attractions.

Perfect location between Charleston and folly.

House was sparkling clean. Was easy drive to beach and relatively close to downtown Charleston. Quiet neighborhood and it begs early morning/evening walks. Seems very safe. Suggestions: need more towels/wash cloths/dish cloths of every kind. One hand towel in the kitchen just doesn’t cut it as the dry function on dishwasher apparently out of service so needed to hand dry. Beach towels and chairs would be helpful to those us from far away. Since ice maker in frig doesn’t work would be helpful to provide ice cube trays. Sharp knives would be helpful. And finally, most of the hospitality world schedules an 11 AM departure - in my experience.
Otherwise, plan accordingly if you plan to visit. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again and again. Loved all the variety of birds on the river. Very comfortable home.
